2. Dental Implant Diagnostic Instrument, “DIDI” 20 features:
Many marks at 7mm distance for 1 implant placement, 14mm for 2 implants, 21mm for 3 implants and
28 mm distance for 4 implant placements in an edentulous space divided accurately for guided
osteotomy. Any edentulous space could be divided into 7mm spaces for ideal osteotomy locations.
A. 4mm gauge for accurately measuring the ideal position for placing, locating and marking the pilot
drill position when placed next to a tooth for a 5mm implant (1.5+2.5)
B. Holder with an "H" shape Uncovery marking tip.
C. If kept vertically the 7mm distance can indicate a cementable vs. Screw retained interocclusal space
and hence the restorative options can be planned accordingly.
D. A 7 mm gauge for edentulous space with a slot for single implant placements in the center.
E. Measurement gauge for edentulous 14 mm space to confirm the number of possible implants.
F. Measurement gauge for edentulous 21 mm space to confirm the number of possible implants.
G. In case of any number of implants the ideal spot for minimum anesthesia during conservative
Uncovery procedure.
H. A slot measuring 7-12 mm edentulous space with a center hole maintained for anesthesia,
osteotomy & Uncovery.
I. The tip (sideways) is 1.5 mm to check the space between the implant wall and the tooth.
J. 3 mm gauge (sideways) to check the space between 2 implants.
K. 5mm diameter full circle punch for marking a flapless procedure. [2.5mm deep].
L. 5mm diameter 1/2 circle punch, marking a cutting position to preserve the keratinized crestal tissue
and place it Buccally.
M. 6 mm gauge to reduce 1/2 mm each side to compensate insufficient edentulous space.
N. 5 mm width to confirm insufficient edentulous space with minimal 1.25mm reduction on
neighboring teeth.
O. A flexible labial curved-surface of 6 average size maxillary anterior teeth in ideal proportion to
visualize the labial surfaces of each of them, midline, space distribution of future teeth and the
emergence profile. Upon pushing it curves more and takes the shape of the arch.
P. A template to shape the outline of the labial surface of the 6 maxillary anteriors during immediate
loading temporization.
Q. A guide for the 1st drill trajectory, to be in the center of the future Crowns for the 6 anterior teeth.
