In the event of power loss the load may be lowered manually – this accomplished by:
1.remove plug in top of brake actuation cylinder
2. Install special ¾ - NC all thread bolt with nut and flat washer
by screwing it into the hydraulic piston thru port in top of the cylinder
3. Turn the nut & washer down against the top of the brake actuation cylinder by
hand
Caution
4.Slowly tighten the nut against the brake actuation cylinder top until the
Hoist starts to pay out
The hoist may be stopped by backing off (loosing ) this nut
5.remove bolt &replace plug before resuming power operation
