IN SEASON MANAGEMENT
 Ensure performance is monitored against plan for the assigned category/department,
regularly supported by exception reporting.
 Ensure effective in season management of the assigned category/department through
regular analysis and action planning across concept and territory, based on the
performance around the following anchors
+ Sales vs. Stock
+ Inflows/OTB
+ Stock analysis
+ Stock balancing
+ Margin analysis
MERCHANDISE CONTROLLER (APRIL 13 –MARCH 15)
 Sales - Planning & Performance Review
 Identify and quantify the available market opportunity
 Provide category wise, sub-category wise and store wise allocation of budget qty to
each category for the season
 Review sales performance & base stock for necessary action
 Provide in-season promotional plan/SMS & FMS markdown plans
 Interface with Retail, Warehouse, Buying function for periodic performance review
 Regularly collect and analyze product feedback from the Retail team
 Validating OTB’s against the budgets & highlighting
 Ensure timely delivery and availability of stocks at the store
 Set up and ensure Adherence to display capacity and NOD norms
 Monitor sell thru on a periodic basis
 Forecast and plan inventory for core lines to ensure adequate stock at any point of

heading a team of 2 people. And managing 18 crores business per season
