BRUSHING YOUR TEETH IS AN IMPORTANT PART OF
YOUR DENTAL CARE ROUTINE.
BRUSH YOUR TEETH TWICE A DAY WITH A SOFT-BRISTLED
BRUSH. THE SIZE AND SHAPE OF YOUR BRUSH SHOULD FIT
YOUR MOUTH ALLOWING YOU TO REACH ALL AREAS EASILY.
REPLACE YOUR TOOTHBRUSH EVERY THREE OR FOUR
MONTHS, OR SOONER IF THE BRISTLES ARE FRAYED. A
WORN TOOTHBRUSH WON’T DO A GOOD JOB OF CLEANING
YOUR TEETH.
SEE YOUR DENTIST REGULARLY FOR PREVENTION AND
TREATMENT OF ORAL DISEASE.

8. CLOTHES AND SHOES
• WEARING CLOTHES AND WITH MICROORGANISMS ON THEM CAN
LEAD TO SKIN INFECTIONS. BODY ODOR CAN ALSO
OCCUR WEARING CLOTHES WITH THE BACTERIA AND FUNGI FOUND
ON THEM.
• HYGIENE FOR HEALTH STATES THAT IN ORDER TO CLEAN
CLOTHING COMPLETELY, CLOTHES AND SHOES MUST BE DRIED
IMMEDIATELY UPON WASHING. MOLD CAN OCCUR ON CLOTHING
LEFT WET FOR A PROLONGED PERIOD OF TIME, WHICH CAN CAUSE
ODOR AND SKIN INFECTIONS.
• WE SHOULD WEAR CLEAN CLOTHES AND SHOES BECAUSE THEY

YOUR MOUTH AND NOSE WHEN YOU
SNEEZE.THE FLU VIRUS IS PASSED FROM
ONE PERSON TO THE OTHER THROUGH
FLUIDS FROM MOUTH AND NOSE
SECRETIONS. WHEN WE COUGH
AND SNEEZE.
YOU SHOULD NOT YAWN WITHOUT
COVERING YOUR MOUTH.

EVERY ONCE IN A WHILE WASH YOUR HAIR WITH
SHAMPOO, SQUEEZE OUT THE EXTRA WATER AND
TOWEL DRY IT.
WE SHOULD GENTLY DRY OUR HAIR WITH A
TOWEL.
WE SHOULD COMB OUR HAIR CAREFULLY.
WASHING AND CONDITIONING OUR HAIR
PROPERLY IS VERY NECESSARY.
