 Everyday you come in contact with millions of outside
germs and viruses. They can linger on your body, and in
some cases, they may make you sick

you prevent illnesses
 They make you feel good about your appearance
 Personal Hygiene is defined as the principle of
maintaining Cleanliness and grooming of the external

11.  Trim your nails regularly to keep them short and clean. Brush under them with
a nail brush or washcloth to rinse away buildup, dirt and germs
 Tidying your nails helps you prevent spreading germs into your mouth and
other body openings
 You should also avoid biting your nails

12. TOILET HYGIENE
 Wash your hands after you use the
restroom, scrub for 20-30 secs and be sure
to clean between your fingers on the back

an alcohol based hand sanitizer will aslo

13. SHOWER HYGIENE
 Personal preference may dictate how often you
wish to shower, but most people will benefit from
rinse at least every day
 Showering with soap will helps rinse away dead
skin cells, bacteria, and oils

 You should brush your teeth at least twice a day- when you wake up and
before you go to bed
 Germs , bacteria in your mouth grow on your teeth and around the gums
every day
 Gently and thoroughly brush each side of every tooth and the gums. It should
take about 3 minutes to do them all

 Don’t stick anything in your ear smaller
 Reduce the risk of infection by treating
upper respiratory infections promptly.

doctor as soon as possible

deade skin cells, excess oil and dirt.
