Rationale – The purposeof my magazine is to entertain and inform
music fans. The magazineis aimed at 16-25 year olds, predominantly
men.
Style – My writing in the magazine will be informal so as to appeal to the
audience, as a formalstyle may bore the reader, some slang will be
featured wherenecessary and humour will be included. The vocabulary
used will be relatively simple to make sureit is understandable, music
jargon will be featured but a jargon buster will be at the back of the
magazine to keep the magazineaccessible. The magazinewill be more
weighted towards images to keep the page looking attractive and
encouragethe reader to read it.
