-Kerrang 412 -Q 613 -Mojo 266 What are the circulation figures for similar magazines?
Advertisers/Advertising- how do we know they will advertise?

We know that they will advertise because without advertising there is no sales which mean the magazine will be unsuccessful.

There are a lot of famous and well known advertising companies e.g. Total media that can make unknown media products become very popular but, not a lo of companies are willing to take the risk in investing in totally unknown products.

The other possible manner of advertising is through ‘free distribution’ if no advertising companies will take on the product.

Presentation of Magazine

Layout – The magazines layout (front cover and contents page) replicate those from Flavour magazine and woofah magazine respectively. The main image of the magazine includes the models and its surroundings whereas most magazines have the models on a different background. There are various cover lines, a main cover line and other images to compliment them.

Fonts – The Font of the main title and a few other headings will be in graffiti as that relates to the target audience we are aiming at. We also are to use other fonts such as STENCIL LTD. So the writing is clear and concise as well as being a font that is able to compliment the idea of the magazine

Colour – The Theme colours of the magazine are to match with the colour of the models clothing. A lot of magazines use a specific set of theme colours as it keeps a sense of togetherness at the front of the magazine. My theme colours are to be Black, badge and white.

Pictures – My main image is of Me and a female model. I am the main focus of my magazine as the main cover line is about an up and coming grime artist which I have taken the place off. I also have another image of my friend who is also to be perceived as an and coming in the magazine and that image compliment one of the cover lines.

Content – To reiterate, the main cover line is about an interview with “Asassin”, and an interview with him as he is seen as the ‘next big thing’ in the grime industry. Cover lines also include pages on various other artists and DJ’s.

Article – What does it feature ?

The Main article is an interview of Asassin and is named ‘star in the making’. Fans usually like to know what celebrities get up to in their personal life and interviews of Celebs offer customers that opportunity.

Name of magazine – Life Of Grime

Cover price – £1.50

Distribution - Weekly (depending on resources and selling methods, whether that may be door to door selling, direct selling or selling to retail stores)

Target Audience – The target audience is teenagers and young adults aged 13-24 and all lovers of grime music.

What is my unique selling point?

My unique selling point is that there are no other well known or established U.K grime magazines that are available to the public so that means there is more of a chance of success as competition in this area is weak.
