1. Article Research
The article I will produce will be mostly image aligned right with text on the left. The
headline will be located at the top right of the page with text in columns with drop caps at
the start of section to show where the article starts. There will be an insert with a quote
from the band located either inside the article or at the bottom of the photo. The colour
scheme for this article is red, white and black as per my colour scheme.

What gigs do you have planned and which was your favourite past gig:

What’s your personal interests and does it influence your music?

Have your friends and family been supportive of you in your music career?
Do you have conflict with other artists over anything?

Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
Magazine double page spreads used as inspiration
This double page spread article was useful because it shows an article that doesn’t
look text heavy and uses a photo that takes up the majority of the page. This shows
me (along with the other 3 articles) that largely image heavy articles are acceptable.
Furthermore, aligning text right so the first thing the reader sees is the image is an
idea I would like to replicate as this will draw the reader to read the article. All 4 DPS
articles feature a studio setting to good effect, which tells me good images are
2. possible in these settings. Finally, they all feature a relatively small amount of
different colours, which shows colour scheme is important.
