● I had a friend who was a cutter, so I was able to relate similarly so I would do my best
to provide emotional support and a positive energy
● Profound video! Often viewed as white girl problem in media. Many people
overlooked
● the lighting of the movie was dark
● I thought that the artist in the film was very courageous. To share that with the world
is hard to do.
● for the film Balance between old pain ( part of the self) and new positive experiences
● Heartbreaking but full of courage for him to put his story out there
● It's very inspiring that he was able to overcome self-harm after 20 years
● Even though he did it for so long, im so happy he was able to stop.
● Sometimes it feels like its too late even though we're young
● ive never been in that situation but i feel like anyone who has been would appreciate
the piece with the razor blades
● I was shivering
● Very sad to hear that he was in so much pain. I'm glad that he found ways to manage
his pain through art and share it with others
● i am happy for him to get the support that he got through Art Work as in the country
where where I am coming from they hang gay people or force them to sex change
and I feel that even though he went through a lot and what he experienced but had
place to turn in to and get help and be a successful person in the end..
● Mental stressors can take a physical manifestation
● e mentioned that he never wanted to die, but the display was about suicide prevention
● It was heartbreaking
