audience?

2. I have attracted my audience by trying to challenge other RnB/ Hip-hop magazines
and offering something that they don’t have. This is done through giving out free
tracks that are made by the artists themselves, so that they can promote their
selves. I have also given a chance for the audience to get in contact with their
favourite artists through a quiz that the audience ask the artist and then they get to
know each other better.
And it allows the audience to be involved, these things will attract my audience
because they’ll have a special connection with their artists. I have also attracted my
audience through making the magazine available on different media platforms such
as giving it apps.

• I have also used bright colour like Red to attract the audience as it is bold and eye
catching in the store. The colour white gives it a fresh and clear look followed by
the black which contrasts with it. The black and white also obtain the
professionalism. My magazine is for men and women so I used colours which
connote both genders and kept it neutral.

4. • The models I’ve used are of the younger generation and this will be appealing to
the reader because they can relate to the model on the front cover in some way
which leads them to believe they can relate to the magazine as well. I have used
large and bold fonts on the front cover and the contents page.
• They are all of the font called Minion Pro. This makes it easier to read and doesn’t
look cluttered. This font attracts the older audience and the younger audience at
the same time. Appropriate language was used as well within the contents page
where I’ve used play on words like ‘Roo- Look’ meaning the Rookies fashion
style that they will be showcasing. And ‘Back chat’ which is the section of the
magazine where you get the latest gossip. Lastly, when I got my audience
feedback, I was told that my magazine is really good and attractive.
