3. I attracted the reader of BGH magazine by
having a colour scheme and this consist of the
colours of red, purple and black. This colour
scheme was different at first when announced
on my music magazine proposal this shows
that there has been some changes from my
first decisions. Moreover, i included these
colour as they are mixture of both genres for
instance hip hop has brighter colours whereas
grime magazine include dark colours like
navy, black and so on and this will allow
audience from both genres to come together to
read things from the grime and hip hop world.
5. The images implied on my music
magazine was to include an image of
young person and to be serious about
things which my model did when taking
photos so this will enable young people
that if they are doing something such as
pursuing a music career you should do it a
100 % and go for it without stopping.
Furthermore, i included as many images
as i could as it would appeal to the
audience and if i was reading a music
magazine i would like to see images of the
artists.

Improvements
A comment on my blog by one of the
classmates called maninder stated
that ‘ The way the was Image taken
is very good however consider using
a puff’. This shows that i am
producing quality images he also
gave me an improvement which
makes more encouraged to improve
and to do more in order to make my
Magazine look professional as
possible.
8. The layout of BGH magazine was influenced
from the XXL freshman 2015 and also the
rolling stone 2015 featured with Ice Cube and
Dr.Dre The layouts of these music magazine
where rather neat and organised which added
professionalism so i thought if i done a similar
way to this, it would make my music magazine
look like that. Although, i used a similar
layout of the case studies, i took some
inspiration from other XXL magazine such as
the one featured with NAS the hip hop rapper.
I included my masthead and the name of the
artist on the page because it would make the
magazine more appealing and easily
recognized.

9. Comments/
Improvements
On my blog there is comment which
has been said by my class friends.
He stated that ‘ This is a good
image, just sort out the columns for
your article, it is far spread on the
left as a whole, it needs space
around the page border’. This made
me improve my double page spread
immediately and the above slide
shows the old and new double page
spread.
11. My front cover has big font which
attracts the audience to allow them to
read the cover lines from a distance
and also enable them to purchase the
magazine as they are happily
convinced that they like the music
magazine. Furthermore i used similar
fonts throughout my whole music
magazine as it would look more
appealing as well as professionalism
which is needed when producing and
distributing your magazine.
