This learning outcomes poster summarizes the goals the student has selected for their 120 hour work-based learning placement. The poster breaks the learning outcomes into three categories: career, academic, and personal. For their career outcomes, the student aims to develop an understanding of their target occupational sector and entrepreneurial skills. Their academic outcomes focus on using kinaesthetic learning and becoming more activist. For personal development, the student wants to improve their ability to adapt and determine if they enjoy working in the sports industry. The poster explains how the learning outcomes were developed based on various diagnostic exercises and are supported by a learning outcomes matrix.

Overview of poster
This poster is designed to show what learning outcome outcomes I have decided to choose for my 120 hours work based learning. Learning outcomes are used to help identify appreciate and apply to a particular goal according
to Skills for learning (2010). I am going to use learning outcomes in my work based learning to be able to meet my goals of the work based learning experience. John Cowan (2009) suggests that learners are unlikely to make
really progress towards achieving real outcomes which they value, if they don’t have their intended outcomes in mind.
My learning outcomes have been written according to the information that I have collected in numerous different diagnostic exercises that I have done in the PDP and planning for work based learning modules. Through doing
these modules I have come up with the learning outcomes that I would like to achieve when completing my work experience placement.
The learning outcomes I have chosen have been split into three category headings Career, Academic and Personal. All these learning outcomes are also backed up in the learning outcomes matrix.
