Working Title: historical events the podcast
What is it called? This can change if you think of something better later
Product’s Purpose:
What is the product’s purpose (entertain/educate etc.) and how will you achieve this? The purpose
of this podcast is to educate the younger generation on the most awful time known to mankind. It’s
also going to have stories of people who survived Auschwitz.
Genre:
What sort of product is it
The genre is history, because my podcast is about history.
Content
What is your product about? Discuss what you would put in it (be specific). Does it have a story? If
so, discuss it here
My product is a podcast about Auschwitz and we’re going to have a story from one of the people
who survived Auschwitz. And how they welcomed the camp mates in. also how they ricked them
into thinking the camp was fun.
Audience:
Who is your audience? Be very detailed; age, gender, social status, psychographic etc
Why would your project appeal to this person? The age for this is 13+ because it’s educational and
they will know what people went through. The gender is for all genders because all genders went
through this when it was happening. It’s for the working class because when they’re working or
cleaning the house or traveling they can listen to the podcast. Belongers will listen to the podcast
because they want to fit in with everyone else. My product would appeal to this audience because
it’s going to be interesting and entertaining.
Legal & Ethical Considerations:
Think about any offensive material you will include?
It will include the holicost which may offend some people because it was a disturbing event that
happened.
Will you restrict younger people using/accessing it?
Yes, especially the ages between 5 – 10 because it may scare them.
Will it offend any social groups/religions/ethnicities?
It may offend Jewish because most of the camp was Jewish and so they may get upset or
offended about this content.
How will you ensure you do not offend anyone?
I will make sure I do my research so that I don’t say anything that will offend anyone.
Are you using characters/names/logos of existing products/IPs?
I will be doing a historical podcast which does already exist because history is interesting and it’s
what people are interested in.
Will your product be sufficiently different from existing products to not get sued for copyright
infringement? Yes because there isn’t a lot of podcast about Auschwitz or the holicost because
most of them are about the wars.
