3. Research
• The strengths of research was that I learned a lot about Auschwitz which
was good because I could use those facts in my podcast. Another good
thing about research was that it helped me choose what I wanted to do. It
was also good to hear different stories from different pages and websites.
And it was also good for me to educate myself while I was researching for
my podcast.
4. Planning
• Planning helped with my podcast because It meant that when it came up
to filming my podcast I knew what I was doing. My strengths for planning
was that I knew what I was doing so it was easy to plan. The hardest thing
was coming up with a script and who says what and also what order to do
everything in. The effect this had on my product was that it made it less of
a mess because if we didn't have a script or of planned it I wouldn't of
known what I was doing and my guests wouldn't of known what they were
doing either.
5. Time Management
• For time management I managed quite well and I'm not behind which is
good. However this project seemed quite rushed, which made my product
to not come out as good as what I wanted It to come out like. Next time
when I've finished the last project I 'm going to start the next one straight
away so it gives me more time and also so I can make it more detailed.
• If I had more time I would of made it longer and put another story in. I
would of also done more research on Auschwiz.
6. Technical Qualities
• https://youtu.be/CYEdn3rn8sg
• This podcast comparing to mine sounds more
professional because they have the right
equipment and they’ve been doing it for long
time. The reason why my podcast isn’t as
professional is because my speech has a change
of tone, because of the editing. Also this podcast
has music in the background which is similar to
my podcast because mine also has music in the
background.
7. Aural Qualities
• My work sounds okay it could of probably
done with more a variety of songs and it's a
little bit messy because it jumps from one
sentence to another at some parts so I would
add more fades. I would also make change in
the tone of my voice when it gets to a scary or
sad part. My strengths of this was the editing
because I did it one lesson and I found it quite
easy. My weakness is exporting it I can't get
my head round it.
8. Audience Appeal
I think I have appealed to my audience because they can
learn something about Auschwitz and also what people
went through. Also the background music bring
attention to my audience because it fits well with the
podcast. The audience can also know the different side
to Auschwitz and how it tricked people into thinking it
was a good camp and not one that burns them to
death.
10. Feedback 1
• What did you like about the product?
I thought the music in the background reflected the topic of the
podcast well.
I liked the inclusion of an actual survivor's story as it helped put
the topic in perspective.
• What improvements could have been made to
the product?
The topic of the podcast could have been handled more
seriously as its very dark.
11. Feedback 2
• What did you like about the product?
– The music was very fitting
– I enjoyed the statistics about it and to find out millions of people died
and what types
– It was nice finding out people's story's
• What improvements could have been made to the product?
• The music was to load in the background and was overshadowing
the speech
• Different types of the podcast was in different pitches to improve
this I would record it from the same distance
• away or edit it so the voices where the same pitch
12. Feedback 3
• What did you like about the product?
– I think why the podcast is good because it is
informative and very enjoyable to listen to. The
background music was really good as well as it fits
and blends well with the podcast.
• What improvements could have been made to
the product?
– One room for improvement would be that some
co-hosts didn’t talk loud enough.
13. Peer Feedback Summary
• What do you agree with from your peer feedback?
• I agree that the topic could have been handled more
seriously because it was a serious topic so we should
have been more sympathetic. I also agree that the
music fits with the topic of the podcast.
• What do you disagree with from your peer feedback? I
don’t disagree with them I actually agree with their
feedback and next time I will use there advise for next
time.
14. Peer Feedback Summary
Next time if I was to do a serious topic I would get my peers
And myself to be more serious or I would get different peers
So I could get my podcast done quicker and also have a more
Serious approach. I would also use better equipment so the
End result comes out better. I would also make sure that the
Speech is at the same tone. And use more fades so my podcast
Is less chunky.
