Teachers comments
1. Good notes and analysis of the use of technical elements, with some good detail on how
directors have used elements to introduce characters and genre. Nice detail on iconic costume
for Spiderman.
2. Some information on genre but lacks good detail. What are the classic narratives? What is the
role of the hero? Some good detail on comics. Work needs to be in your words. Some nice detail
on role of superhero and narrative conventions used in genre.
3. Some good detail on your target audience with some thought into other interests. Try to marrow
your target audience range…who is your film really for? Who are they? What other films do they
like? What age group? Detail added on what other media audience may enjoy.
4. Good effective script but confusing to read at times. Remove synopsis at start and add capital
letters!
5. No second draft. Script has gone through major changes, now more effective as a genre piece.
6. Storyboard missing. Added. Storyboard drawings are simple yet effective. All key info added.
7. Lots of very good detail with some technical information added.
8. Great design, very clear. Should come in very handy.
9. Location chosen with some detail on why. Images needed.
10. Some detail given but very brief, especially for actress. Images needed. 1 imaged added – good
detail on colour connotations
11. Good detail. Images added. Added
12. Some very nice detail on actor choices. More detail added to reflect change of script. Good
detail on choices.
13. Equipment missing. Brief detail on camera and tripod.
14. Some good detail on dates - some detail on what is needed for each filming day would be
helpful. Add detail on editing schedule. Detail now added to show edit time.
You need to use capital letters for film titles! Read your work so it makes sense.
Check your spelling!!
Add all missing work!
2. All work now added to a high standard.
