Teachers comments
1. 2 good analyses of film openings Insidious and Hot Fuzz. Clear and
confident use of technical language throughout. You could add what you
have learnt from these openings that you will use in your product. You
are missing 1 more film opening. Please add this. Woman In Black
analysis now added to the same clear standard as the rest. Hot Fuzz
analysis has been improved. Also thoughts on what you will take form the
openings added, well done.
2. Good research into the history of the genre, presented well using prezi.
You could add more images to this to make it more visual. You could
also add key directs, actors and awards for the genre. Notable directors
now added.
3. Good research on target audience. Good use of NRS scale and avatar
creator to show stereotypical audience member.
4. Excellent well written script, builds intrigue well. Please check your
spellings. Script now added to show new idea, all in the correct format.
5. Clear evidence of drafting of ideas throughout.
6. A good set of storyboards that show your vision well. Remember not to
confuse an establishing shot with a long/wide shot.
7. A good clear shot list. Will you only use 15 shots?
8. Excellent clear floor plans of main locations. Please bear in mind you will
need to seek permission to film at the train station as is a public place
9. Location choices explained well with good clear photographs. Additional
images and choices now added.
10.Costume choices explained well with images. This has been updated to
show new ideas.
11.Prop choices explained well with images. This has been updated to show
new ideas.
12.Prop choices explained well
2. 13.Actor choices partially explained. What is the name of the family member
playing Jonathan? Could you include a photo of him to show suitability?
Actor choice now fully explained, image also added.
14.Equipment is detailed briefly in the production schedule. You could do
this as a separate post with more detail. Separate detailed equipment list
with images now uploaded.
15.A comprehensive production schedule detailing all stages of production
well.
