This document provides instructions for students in Year 8 to complete a self-assessment and peer assessment of homework assignments transcribing the work of artist Michael Craig Martin. Students are prompted to evaluate their own and a peer's work based on accurately recreating colors, drawing outlines, transcription accuracy, and presentation. They then choose a challenge question to identify an aspect of the work that could be improved and write a response in green pen.

• Are our outlines carefully drawn?
• Have you created an accurate transcription?
• Is your work thoughtfully presented?
•Read the comment written by your teacher.
•Look at your homework. Did you meet the task’s success criteria?
•Spend two minutes reflecting on the following questions.
Is there an aspect that you did not do or could have done better?

3. Choose a challenge question that relates to
what you have identified could be improved.
• How could you improve the application of colour in your
transcription?
• What could you do to make your careful copy more
accurate / neater?
• How could you use the page better?

have been chosen in the relevant box on the assessment sheet.
Make sure your answer is a full answer. Eg. To improve the
accuracy of my drawing I could redraw the objects over the top
in the correct place.
