This document provides instructions for Year 7 students on self-assessing and peer-assessing assignments on Frida Kahlo. Students are asked to evaluate their own work based on success criteria and identify an aspect that could be improved. They then select a challenge question to answer in their workbook. For peer assessment, students review a classmate's work using the same success criteria, choose a challenge question for their classmate to work on, and write it in their workbook. • Have you used colour?

what you have identified could be improved.
• How could you improve the proportion of your face?
• How could you use pattern and colour to bring the
separate elements together?
• What could you change to reflect Kahlo’s work?
• How can you make the objects stand out more?

Make sure your answer is a full answer. Eg. I could make the
objects stand out more by outlining them in a darker colour.
