you?
This project is importanttome as it is my final
piece of work for this course. I will be combining
everythingI havelearned overthe two yearsto
create a final product. Itis also importantas this
project concept is in a similar area of media thatI
would like to work in after college. I have interests
in all aspectsof thisproject from the artist, music,
andtour design, that I aim tocreate a final body
of work that promotesthisartist well, as well as
show off my skills in graphic designthat I can add
to my portfolio after college.

I am influenced to create thisproject by lookingat
other artiststour conceptsand havingan interest
in the creative processbehind it. For my FMP last
year, I created a promotionalpackagefor a film
concept. This topic will allow me to further
expand my work in promotionwhilstalso looking
into an alternate industry insteadof film. For
research for thisproject, I will find outabout
other graphic designersor creative directors that
organise toursfor other artistsand investigate
their creative process. I will also research
informationaboutmy chosen artist andtheir
aesthetic choice for the albumI will be promoting
for the tour, also researching their mainaudience
andwhat draws their attention.
What effect do youwant to haveon your
audience when they see yourproject?
I would like my target audience tobe attractedto
the variousaspectsof my project, the
merchandiseshouldbe goodenoughto sell the
productswhilst also promotingtheartists. For the
stage visuals, I would like it to be an immersive
experience for the audience andexpress how the
songfeels throughthese visuals.

I would like to incorporatea darkerfuturistic style
for this project concept. This is so I amable to
accurately follow a consistenttheme thatmatches
with the artists’ aesthetic for their album release.
I haveunderstandingaroundthefuturistic theme
as I haveresearched into‘the future’ conceptas
part of my previousproject andcreated digital art
following this theme.
Why have youdecided to makeyour project in
this style?
I decided to makemy project in this style because
this is a style thatI find visually appealing. When I
researched aspects of the futuristic style for my
previousproject, I foundinspirationin existing
work andapplied that tomy own digital art. My
existing knowledge helped me decide to choose
to follow thisstyle as I havemore confidence that
I will be able to create work that is accurate to this
theme.
