Obama Vs. Clinton And Burr Vs Ross Essay
In early September, Burr was leading Ross with 46.7% to 43% according to Real Clear Politics. By
early November, he was only ahead by an average of 1.5%. While North Carolina is widely
considered a battleground state, Five Thirty Eight gave Burr a 73.4% chance of winning reelection.
With the exception of a drop in the middle of October, Burrs chances of winning were consistent
throughout the Senate race as shown below in figure 2.
Although Burr was never able to reach 50% in the polls, he exceeded that threshold on Election Day
and defeated Ross by almost 6%. In order to analyze the political climate further, I will be comparing
the exit polls for both Trump vs. Clinton and Burr vs Ross. This will help explain why Ross was
entering the Senate race with a disadvantage despite media pundits arguing that higher turnout in
presidential election years should benefit Ross. Although Five Thirty Eight gave Clinton the slight
edge to defeat Trump in North Carolina, Trump s was able to carry the state with a modest
performance. Although Real Clear Politics had Burr winning by an average of 2%, that was certainly
below the 5.7% final result. In a three way race between Trump, Clinton, and Johnson, Trump was
predicted to win North Carolina by about 1%. The actual results, however, showed Trump winning by

What could be better than making a naked bouncing egg?! Making a glowing one, of course! This
activity teaches little scientists about egg anatomy and osmosis takes just a few minutes to set up but
is seriously egg citing! I think it s a good idea for teachers to participate in this experiment because it s
a good way to have fun.
First thing you will need is your materials which is: An egg, clear glass, vinegar, highlighters, and a
blacklight.
Second you have to know how to make a glowing bouncy egg and if you don t know how I will show
you how because it s surprisingly simple the hardest part is having to wait.
To start, I took the polyester cylinder out of the highlighter and squeezed it to extract as much of the
ink as I could. The easiest way was to use my fingers, so be prepared for a little mess. Next, I very
carefully added a raw egg to each of the glasses and covered them with white vinegar. The pink and
orange solutions were very bright, but the solution with the yellow highlighter turned almost clear
when the vinegar was added. Now all I had to do was wait. I could see bubbles forming on the surface

My Experience With Stressors, And What I Learned
Earlier in the quarter we were asked to make a list about things that stresses out. I have always
considered myself the type of person that rarely stresses over anything, so it was difficult to write
some down. After keeping track of stressors in my life for 10 days, I realized that I do stress about
issues more than I ever considered. Before this class, stress was not something I took into great
consideration. To my understanding, if you were suffering from stress that meant that you had serious
conditions like insomnia, weight gain, depressions or others things of that nature. This class has taught

Decision to Move into an International Market
Terms and Definitions Upon a company making the decision to move into an international market
there are many economic terms, definitions and laws that are to be researched and understood. While
there are lots of terms and definitions, five of these terms include: multinational corporations,
economies of scale, imports and exports as part of GDP, foreign exchange market and exchange rates
and marginal rate of transformation. Each definition will be researched and defined below and their
importance to a company going global will be discussed.
Multinational Corporations
A multinational corporation or a MNC can be defined as a company operating in at least one other
country besides its home country. A MNC can be a closed system, in which it produces within said
country and sells to that country only. Most MNC s, though, are open systems in which they produce
in one country and sell to another. MNC s are driven by the law of supply and demand. Supply and
demand affect open systems differently as labor is in one country and the selling of products in
another and the cycle of products is on a much larger scale. A company looking to become
international, if incorporated, will become a multinational corporation.
II. Economies of Scale A. Factors that cause the cost of producing something to fall as the scale of its
output increases are known as economies of scale. An example is it might cost $5000 to produce 200
copies of a book but only $6000 to produce

Stereotypes In Watership Down
In the story, Watership Down, the rabbits tell stories about a trickster rabbit named El ahrairah and the
rabbits have a parallel action between the stories. The story is about few rabbits who leave their
warren because one of the rabbits feels that there is danger near them and they decide to go far away
from their home. The rabbits tell stories at times when something big or bad is happening. The stories
are all about a past rabbit, El ahrairah who tricks other rabbits to do good things for his warren and to
collect food. Many of the plans that the rabbits make are similar to the tricks that El ahrairah does. In
Watership Down, a rabbit named Dandelion tells stories about El ahrairah and Hazel s rabbits are
influenced by the stories to make plans that relate to El ahrairah s tricks.

In the Efrafa warren, Bigwig tricks General Woundwort by making a plan where Bigwig takes the
rabbits who want to leave and runs away. Then a bird named Keehar scares away General Woundwort
and his guards. In the story it states, Out shot Rowsby Woof, bellowing like a bull, land tore around
the house. The man followed him at a run, leaving the door wide. Quick! said El ahrairah. Quicker
than Wogdog from the Tartar s bow! Come on! El ahrairah and Rabscuttle dashed into the garden and

Benefits Of A Car Is Necessary While Living On Campus
Here at FGCU, many students have concerns toward transportation and if a car is necessary while
living on campus. There are many resources throughout the University that make it possible for
students that do not have a car, to get around. The highly organized and preferred transportation is the
campus shuttles that go around to every dorm village and pick up students to bring them to the
campus.
On the FGCU website, there is a section called Transportation that shows all of the opportunities
students get to utilize. If not the shuttles, there is carpooling, bicycle rentals, and car rentals that are
offered to students 18 years and up. Campus shuttles are used by the majority of FGCU students that
live on campus. These shuttles are made so that students can have transportation other than walking.
Although campus shuttles can be beneficial in many ways, there are some people who do not take the
shuttles for numerous reasons.
Victoria Leeds, student at FGCU states that I ve taken the shuttle four times, but I rather walk to
campus because that is the only exercise I get here. She resides in the North Lake village and that is
the closest dormitory to the campus. It was also said that it takes her 8 10 minutes to walk to campus.
Another student at FGCU who lives in North Lake village, Emani Feliciano, said that she takes the
shuttle because if I am running late and don t have time to walk, I can hop on the shuttle and be in
class within 5 7 minutes. She said as long as I

Appropriation In Art History
Appropriation in art and art history refers to the practice of artists using pre existing objects or images
in their art with little transformation of the original (Tate, no date). Artists have been appropriating for
many centuries and tend to use the most iconic of masterpieces from the past and make them more
contemporary for today s style. The Mona Lisa by Leonardo Da Vinci is one of the greatest examples
of this act. It is one of the most famous and well known paintings ever created; however the piece has
been manipulated by other artists, so much that the meaning behind the original is indefinite. If a piece

But knowing makes me have a different opinion. This still puzzles my thoughts of originality in art
and whether it matters in our society.
This is a representation of the Marilyn Monroe Piece by Yu Youhan produced in the Chinese century
of political pop.
Youhan replicated the same method to Warhol s all time famous artwork but altered the subject of the
design. Instead of Monroe he replaced the figure as the chairman Mao. He used Mao as part of a
memorial as he played a big part in his political life. By doing this, it changes the meaning of the
painting and Mao becomes the centre of attention and the main topic of the piece.
I am now going to discuss Cindy Sherman and her film scenes. She was a big believer in Feminism
and is well known for recreating film stills replacing the original actors with her.
Although Sherman s work is entitled as one of those artists who appropriate, I would consider her
work to be quite original. Yes, you could say that because she has copied film scenes that her work isn
t original but personally I believe that her work is trying to make a change and represent
