When I first start on this module, I feel really odd about what exactly a social

Religion has never truly appeared in my life as something of higher importance.
Ever since I was little, my family dragged me to church in hopes I would
potentially get something out of it. It is prevalent that I never really retained

traumatic experience. Normally, when an individual experiences trauma, the ANS is

fight or flight response. Sometimes, post traumatic experience, the ANS continues to
be sensitive. This leads to cognitive, physical, and emotional symptoms,

Consequently, recovery from this emotional and physiological arousal is difficult as
this arousal becomes overwhelming to the individual. In addition, the SNS and PNS

authors suggest that the pharmacology of the Window of Tolerance (a model of
autonomic arousal) be used to change drug treatments for the better through aiding in

him somewhere in between. Put forth as a fine, open faced, good natured young
man, Godfrey immediately contrasts his brother Dunstan, a spiteful jeering fellow,

Dunstan mocks him for his nature, saying, I m so easy and good natured. You ll

Godfrey is held in high esteem after this initial introduction. Furthermore, the
condition of Godfrey Cass is one of whom had felt the keen point of sorrow or
remorse and whom thanks to their native human kindness even riot could never
drive into brutality (Eliot 29). According to his condition, Godfrey has weathered
the conditions that have caused him sorrow and remorse, rather than having caused
the conditions in the first place. This sets up Godfrey s rationalization behind his
passivity, and allows for the notion that simply possessing a good nature is a good
enough excuse to leave his decisions to chance. Consequently, after leaving such
decisions to chance, the hesitating Godfrey finds that his own downfall
unequivocally rests on his own shoulders (Eliot 26). Godfrey s hesitating and passive
nature is more prevalent in none other than his denial of his infant daughter, Eppie.

57. Clayton State University Experience
Abstract: As I look back on my internship at Clayton State University, I am
supremely thankful for the experience. I entered this with three main learning
objectives: to learn and experience the operation of an enterprise IT infrastructure, to
learn and experience enterprise database administration, and to learn and experience
enterprise networking. Nine since the commencement of this internship, I can say
with confidence that I have met my goals. Leading up to this, I feel like my past
experiences have prepared me. Though I did not know everything, I used what I
previously learned. The tasks and projects given to me allowed me to become part of
an organization. Furthermore, having the opportunity to sit one on one with multiple
people in the department expanded my palate within the spectrum of IT. All in all,
this was a successful, beneficial experience.
1. Introduction
Clayton State University (CS) commenced its academic mission as a junior college
in 1969 to 942 students. Seventeen years later CSU transitioned into a four year
institution that now offers over 38 undergrad programs and eight graduate

I had the opportunity to not only observe but also contribute to the function and
operation of the technology department. I also learned a great deal of many skills
and lessons, yet used what I have learned in my academic journey and personal
experiences this far. The people I worked with added to the experience. I could
approach them with anything and they provided assistance. Also, their relaxed, cool,
calm, and collective mindset made this place a low stress, learning environment.
With what I learned and accomplished here, I hope it will bring me closer to my
goal. Here is to the end of one adventure and to the start of the
