From my point of view, I believe that the health system is facing a hindrance in
providing value to the patient. The inability to provide high quality, low cost health
care is now a double edged sword in our industry. In a time where reimbursements are
made on the patients perceived quality of their treatment, the organization can no

I believe that there are many changes that can be made, both internally and externally,

Today my dad and I are visiting Olympic national park. I cannot wait for this park. I
heard that it was supposed to be beautiful and trust me it is. Olympic park is
located in Port Angeles, Washington. It was established in June 29 in 1938. The
size of the land is about 922,000 acres. The park is part of the olympic peninsula

Some fun facts is that there is only one national natural landmark and that is the

One dream in particular, is an old friend of mine. I dreamt that I was trying to find

enzyme, because the product of hydrolysis of pPNP is the yellow para nitrophenol
(pNP) compound along with inorganic phosphate (McComb, Bowers and Posen,
1979).
The Michaelis Menten equation for enzyme kinetics (Murray, 2002) predicts an
initially high rate of enzyme activity as the concentration of the substrate is relatively
high, followed by a gradual reduction in enzyme activity as the substrate is consumed.

You Cannot Trust Fast Food Companies
We have all seen those advertisements that show glorious looking hamburgers that
look like are simply exploding with tasty goodness, but how many times has our food
actually looked like the advertisement? In my experience, that number would be zero.
These advertisements are meant to trick our minds into thinking fast foodis much
better than it is in reality. Although, this argument could be made about just about
any company in this age of brandpersonification, but just because other companies do

Fast Food Nation references a discontinued advertisement run by the cigarette
manufacturer Camel, which displayed a hip, cartoon camel that was used to sell
cigarettes. Fast Food Nation states, a 1991 study published in the Journal of the
American Medical Association found that nearly all of America s six year olds
could identify Joe Camel, who was just as familiar to them as Mickey Mouse
(Schlosser). Fast Food Nation talks about another study that found one third of the
cigarettes illegally sold to minors were Camels. Children are very easily influenced

Companies take advantage of children for a couple of reasons with the first being the
advantage of brand recognition or branding . When we are young we make strong
connections to things that influence us, such as the comfort a McDonalds hamburger
may bring. Companies know this and by creating a fun atmosphere that is kid
friendly they can create this connection that can last for a lifetime. Fast food
restaurants use kid friendly items such as the playland, kids meal, and toys that
come with the kid s meals. Inventions such as these were created to draw the easily

LongHorn Steakhouse
It all started with a man by the name of George McKerrow Jr, who had a passion for
delicious steaks. Luckily he had a snowstorm hit his hometown in Atlanta, Georgia
that brought stranded motorist into the only hospitable place available a restaurant
called LongHorn Steaks Restaurant Saloon. The tales of the expertly grilled steak was
spread like a wildfire throughout the towns. This was the beginning of a new chain
restaurant called LongHorn Steakhouse, which is known for their Flo s Filet and the
Bone In Outlaw, fall of the bone ribs, and hand cut salmon. In later years, LongHorn
eventually joined Darden Restaurants with Olive Garden and Red Lobster. With a
location in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, it is one of many steakhouses that you
can choose from. It is a well organized restaurant that has been serving steak,
chicken, and fish for 30 years where the meat is never frozen. In addition to that, it
is the only steakhouse that catches the eyes of the customer, usually from the dark
red lights that light up during the night. The restaurant is opened Sunday to
Thursday from 11:00 AM to 10:00 PM and Friday to Saturday 11:00 to 11:00 PM.
As we walk through the double doors of the entrance, we are warmly greeted right
away by the LongHorn Staff, who are dressed in black tops and blue jeans. We had
dinner at Longhorn after discovering a 30 minute wait at our first restaurant choice.

Over the past century the practice of pharmacy has evolved from a field with few
specialties typically focused on compounding and filling prescriptions to modern
pharmacy practice which has many different specialties. Due to the many
opportunities in the field of pharmacy one assignment I completed was the APhA
Career Pathway Evaluation Program to see which specialties I hay have the most
