1. In planning its market offering, the marketer must address the five product levels of the customer
value hierarchy. Describe the customer value hierarchy and identify and explain the five levels of
product contained within. Each layer adds more customer value, and the five levels are: 1. The core
benefit the service or benefit the customer is really buying; 2. The basic product the actual product that
provides the core benefit; 3. Expected product a set of attributes and conditions buyers normally

Throw-Ins In A Soccer Team
While most soccer teams will have several throw ins throughout the game, many teams spend almost
no time practicing them. If you are a soccer coach and your players are often committing throw in
violations by lifting their feet or failing to bring the ball all the way behind their heads, it is especially
important to practice throw ins. While throw ins may feel like a mundane skill, practicing them can
become a game.
To make practicing throw ins fun, set up cones on the field. Spread the cones out, with some close to
the sidelines and others farther away. Split your players into two teams. Allow a player from one team
to throw the ball in, trying to hit a cone. Then allow a player from the other team to try. Continue to
switch back and forth.

Analysis Of The Movie Return Streak And Winning A...
Manassas is an inner city high school in North Memphis Tennessee with a poorly funned football
program that holds a 110 year losing streak. Each individual athlete faces internal and external
challenges of growing up in a poor and dangerous neighborhood with little or no parental guidance at
all. Coach Bill Courtney devotes the majority of his time to Manassas s football program and also
steps in as a father figure to many of these boys and unites the team. In return, this causes the team to
perform better on the field, thus, breaking Manassas s losing streak and winning a playoff game. In
this documentary there was a mental skill that stood out the most, in particular, group dynamics/
cohesion. Throughout the team s football season coach Courtney helps the boys feel closer with their
fellow teammates, thus, resulting in each individual to look out for one another. With that said, in the
movie the team worked together to achieve a common goal which was to win a playoff game while
also working on individual interpersonal relationships with other teammates. With that in mind,
different elements of task and social cohesion are emphasized in this documentary. The theoretical
development of group dynamics/ cohesion was exhibited through O.C. Brown. To illustrate, in the
beginning of the film O.C. Brown was a short tempered kid who only looked out for himself,
however, throughout this documentary O.C. Brown begins to improve on his cohesion with the team
and also reveals

Marina Abramovic Essay
Performance art is integral to the story of art because it drastically changed the overall shape and
evolution direction of art over the past one hundred years. One of the major artists in this genre of art
is Marina Abramovíc, the grandmother of performance art as considered by herself due to her
contribution and dedication to the aforementioned form of art since the 60s until today. Having been
active for over three decades, her works have a great impact on people nowadays and usually
described as remarkable and intensive. Figure 01: Marina Abramovic (Manfred Werner 2012) Having
parents that were partisans and being raised in military manner, Marina developed an interest and
ability to endure harsh, extreme conditions for a long period of time. This is how she was able to
withstand in some performances such as Lips ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
She demanded an intense and emotional response from spectators who sometimes found themselves
active participants in ways they could not havzae anticipated (Richards, 2010). With that being said,
Rhythm 0 is probably the best example there is about this special attribute of her works. It is, possibly,
her most challenging and famous work due to its meaning and the way it approached and explored the
relationship between the artist herself and her audience. In this piece, Abramovic deliberately played
along the edges of her own and her audience s boundaries, testing the limits of both (Kirmizi, 2013,
p.26). The rule of Rhythm 0 is quite simple, Marina herself would play the passive role and for the
audience, they were given the aggressive role. Using 72 objects, varying from items for pleasure, such
as feather and flowers to those that are lethal, such as razor and pistol with a `loaded bullet, the
participants could do whatever they want with her during the six hour performance. No matter what
the outcome is, they wouldn t have to take the

Criminal Investigation And The Crime Scene
I am sure I am not the only one that thinks of the hit television show CSI when I hear of criminal
investigations. What people probably don t know is that the people who work as investigators are not
particularly pretty people with pencil skirts, expensive suits, and a full hair and makeup team; they are
law enforcers that specialize in the science aspect of solving crimes.
In 2009, Hekim stated that: Investigative police work is mostly about the recovery, analysis and
interpretation of information about criminal offenses. The investigative process of a crime consists of
taking victim and witness statements, examining the crime scene, collecting physical evidence,
analyzing collected material to identify the offender(s) and then ... Show more content on

1). Americans obtained their first investigators in 1789 and they were known as revenue agents (O
Connor, 2006, para. 3). Americans in the late 1700s were recruited from civilian life and it wasn t until
the 1950s that a college education was preferred in the investigations department (O Connor, 2006,
para. 3). The first major private detective agency of the nineteenth century was formed by Allan
Pinkerton in 1819 1884 (Swanson et al., 2002, para 1). In my opinion, the biggest milestone for
investigative work was the discovery of DNA. It has made the task of apprehending criminals
exponentially easier and is virtually error free.
How to become a Criminal Investigator There are different ways to become a criminal investigator:
you can go to school and major in criminology or criminal science and get hired as a criminal
investigator perhaps in a small town where prior experience is not required or you can take the most
common avenue and become a police officer first. After becoming a sworn police officer, you can
receive on the job training and attend specialized classes to become an investigator. Speaking with a
current Myrtle Beach Police Crime Scene Investigator, David Bailey, I learned that if you want to go
into investigations you don t necessarily need a certain under graduate major; you just need to get your
foot in the door by becoming a police officer and then be willing to

Nursing Theory in Practice
Nursing Theory In Practice
Chamberlain College of Nursing
NR 501: Theoretical Basis of Advance Practice
September 25, 2011
Introduction Imogene King was the developer of both a Conceptual Framework and a Goal
Attainment theory. The Goal Attainment theory is a middle range theory that originated from the
Conceptual System. The primary concepts of Goal Attainment theory are perception, communication,
interaction, self role, grow and development, stress, and time and space (Frey, Sieloff Norris, 2002).
The main point of Goal Attainment theory is that the nurse and the patient work together to define and
reach goals that they set together (Killeen King, 2007). This process is done mostly through
communication, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The cause of poor or lack of communication skills are many and include time availability of nurses to
get time to sit and talk with patients; lack of privacy; shortage of qualified nurses who are available to
talk to patients; lack of training; and different languages. Poor communication skills also affect goal
setting and goal attainment, which leads to increase return follow up, visits in the emergency room
(Williams, 2001). The application of communication into the nursing practice is done through the
process of the nurse conducting a comprehensive assessments on patients, making diagnoses, setting
realistic goals and evaluating outcomes (Khowaja, 2006). During the assessment of the patient is when
interaction occurs and the nurse collects data regarding the patient. The data collected from the
assessment is used to make nursing diagnosis from identified problems communicated between the
patient and the nurse. After the nursing diagnosis is made, the nurse continues to communicate with
the patient to plan by setting goals. The patient is encouraged to participate in decision making for
collaboration of achievement of goals. Once the goals are set, the nurse and the patient collaborate
through communication to formulate the means by which the goals can be attained. However, mutual
goal setting is only successful if the patients trusted that the goal would benefit them (Williams, 2001).
With communication, nursed have to

This type of growth is important as it helps the child grow and provides a purpose for the child.
Another benefit is that this toy will encourage solitary and active play, types of social patterns and
play, which is vital for child s development. This toy supports skill development through maturation as
children will learn how to play with this toy as they mature cognitively. According to Piaget s idea of
schemas which are created by assimilation and accommodation, the schema for the child in the
preoperational stage will be that they will think that two different shapes of the same colour would
both fit into the same cut out hole in the box, when in fact, they will not. The child then goes through
assimilation, where they will adjust their existing schema and understand that an object can be
classified by more than one feature. The state of the schema is then changed from disequilibrium to
equilibrium. Therefore, this toy is developmentally appropriate to children in the preoperational stage
as it will encourage the child to overcome an issue they face in their age period. PART C:

To explain the mechanisms and processes by which the infant, and then the child, develops into an

Psycho Analysis
The movie Psycho was filmed in 1960 by Alfred Hitchcock. The movie focuses on a woman named
Marion Crane. It starts when she steal 40,000 dollars from her boss to run away with her boyfriend. It
s late and she decides to check into a motel, the Bates Motel. At the motel, she encounters a middle
aged man named Norman Bates. He becomes morbidly obsessed with her. But he then kills
her...dressed as his dead mom. There is a show that acts as a prequel to Hitchcock s masterpiece; Bates
Motel. It is focused on Norman Bates and his mother, Norma Bates whereas the movie is focused on
Marion Craine. Bates Motel is a very well written show, with great acting, and is filled with a ton of
textbook psychology. There are very many different subplots in the show, but this paper is strictly
going to analyze Norman and his relationship with his mother. It goes very in depth about the very
troubling relationship between a son and mother, and how it led to Norman developing a dangerous
persona of his mom. You could even say that Norman has an Oedipus conflict. An Oedipus conflict is
apart of one of the psychosexual stages thought of by Sigmund Freud. He believed that during the age
of 3 6, a child developed feelings for the parent of the opposite sex. And the only way to get over that
feeling was to identify with his father. His Oedipus conflict would go on to never be resolved because
his father was abusive. The series starts off after Norman hits his father in the head with a blender,
killing him. His mom covers it up and makes it look like an accident to protect Norman. His father had
been very abusive to him and his mother. Child abuse is said to be one of the most common causes of
many mental illnesses. In this case, the abuse caused him to dissociate, or go off into his own little
world where he felt safe in. It was very traumatic for a young Norman and his mother. People who
tend to experience very traumatic things together have a stronger bond than those who don t. Norman
and his mother are so codependent on each other that it s toxic.
It is very apparent that Norman has a Dissociative Identity Disorder, also known as Multiple
Personality Disorder. DID is when more than one different, distinct personalities take

Analysis Of Where The Red Fern Grows
Cherish these moments tomorrow they ll be memories ,pinterest said and has a deep meaning to the
story Where the Red Fern Grows. In the story Where the Red Fern Grows the theme is to cherish those
close to you before it s too late. The story is also a good lesson to learn because you never know when
someone vital to your life may die so cherish them while you have them. This quote from pinterest fits
the theme of the story because when Old Dan and Little Ann almost died Billy felt like he should ve
loved them more when they were alive. Without that time in the story the story would be completely
different. This is a wise quote because when Billy got his dogs after working so hard to get them he
knew that once he got the dogs he would remember how he got his dogs forever. That was one of the
most important parts in the story and without them the story would be different. Since the part is in the
story now the part makes a huge impact on the book and that is why that supports my quote and
theme. In the story there were several moments that Billy would remember for the rest of his life .
Billy had multiple lessons he had learned through the course of his life so far, and there will still be
many more lessons to come. There are other pieces to this story that are important to the story. There
is one part in the story where Little Ann and Old Dan nearly died from the winter storm. Without that
time in the story the story would have changed dramatically. Who knows whether

Uncle Tom s Cabin And Searching For Sugar Man
Many times in literature and film we have come across characters or historical figures that show
selfless acts which has created incredibly touching stories and has added a different dynamic to a story
without trying. I believe that in Uncle Tom s Cabin and Searching for Sugar Man (Malik Bendjelloul,
2012) there were many acts of selflessness which allowed for both of these works to stand out from
others. The story of Uncle Tom s Cabin in itself was fascinating, but Tom and very few other
characters showed selfless acts which made the story even more interesting. As for Searching for
Sugar Man, Sixto Rodriguez and his family were shown as some of the most selfless people I have
ever seen. The Rodriguez family had so little and were taken advantage of by lying record labels, but
were so thankful and appreciative of the people in South Africa when Sixto finally performed there. At
the very beginning of Uncle Tom s Cabin we are introduced to Tom, a slave owned by Arthur and
Emily Shelby. We learn that the Shelby s are struggling financially and are meeting with a slave trader,
Mr. Hayley, to figure out which of their slaves could be sold for the most money. Tom has great value
in the eyes of the Shelby s but Mr. Hayley believes that he could be sold for a great amount of money.
When Tom finds out that he is going to be sold, along with another little boy, Harry, Harry s parents,
Eliza and George, decide that they are going to escape with their son before he could be sold and

Parker s Back by Flannery O Connor
To the uninitiated, the significance of Flannery O Connor s Parker s Back can seem at once cold and
dispassionate, as well as almost absurdly stark and violent. Her short stories routinely end in
horrendous, freak fatalities or, at the very least, a character s emotional devastation. Flannery O
Connor is a Christian writer, and her work is message oriented, yet she is far too brilliant a stylist to
tip her hand; like all good writers, crass didacticism is abhorrent to her. Unlike some more cryptic
writers, O Connor was happy to discuss the conceptual and philosophical underpinnings of her stories,
and this candor is a godsend for the researcher that seeks to know what makes the writer tick.
Flannery O Connor put much conscious ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
For me, the most chilling aspect of the story is the description of a prophetic water stain above Asbury

Thematic Elements
This concept of displacement runs throughout O Connor s work, and it is essentially a displacement
from the world of the one true God, a theological displacement, although within the context of the
story it is more social, based on the nature of the freak s position in the society. Very often, the
grotesque elements of O Connor s stories are balanced out by anagogical ones. Again, the latter are not
specifically symbols, for symbols work contextually to represent interactive story elements, whereas
O Connor s anagogical elements are just there, they wander in and out of the action; they may have
symbolic significance, but it never comes directly into play as a plot element. Facing death is another
thematic element that recurs often in O Connor, for obvious reasons, both personal and religious. 23 O
Connor admits as much herself, in an essay in which she discusses A Good Man is Hard to Find : The
heroine of the story, the Grandmother, is in the most significant position life offers the Christian.
She is facing death. 24 This last quote speaks volumes; it is probably the single most significant and
telling remark the student of Flannery O Connor can have in his attempt to understand her work.
Clearly facing death as a Christian was the motivational engine that

Black Power In Australia
Founded in the mid 1960s the Black Power was a political movement that arose among African
Americans in the United States whose agenda was to bring to fore the racial consciousness. Some of
its champions were Robert Williams, Malcolm X, and Stokely Carmichael. AAL (Aborigines

McGuiness and Bob Maza were invited in Melbourne Dr. Roosevelt Brown, a Caribbean activist and

The Group Responsible for the Attack
It is still undetermined if Al Qaeda was directly responsible to the Fort Hood Shooting. It is known
that Hasan was in contact with Anwar al Awlaki, a known Al Qaeda supporter/member for months
before the Fort Hood attack. The FBI Agents in San Diego had been investigating Awlaki, a former

when agents discovered the emails that Hasan had sent Awlaki (http://abcnews.go.com). The
investigation into the shoot has not revealed any evidence that Hasan was directed by anyone to
commit the shooting. It is believed that Hasan acted alone and that Awlaki or Al Qaeda had no direct
involvement in the incident. Hasan is considered a lone wolf terrorists or a terrorist who commits acts

Genetically Inherited Diseases
Introduction:
Chromosomes are long structures that are made up of DNA and proteins called histones. They are
found in the Chromatin material in the nucleus and mitochondira. During the process Crossing over
where there is the mutual exchange of genes in the pieces of chromosomes that causes variation in
offspring, however this is where mutations commonly occur. If a parent has either a faulty gene or a
missing gene, the child is usually at high risk of being diagnosed with the disorder or may be a carrier.
Definition of a genetically inherited disease:
A genetic disease or disorder is the result of changes, or mutations, in an individual s DNA. A
mutation is a change in the DNA sequence that make up a gene When a gene is mutated or is not
present, its protein product can no longer carry out its normal function, and thus disorder or
genetically inherited disease can occur.

Leadership In The Odyssey
The Oxford dictionary defines empowerment as, The authority or power given to someone to do
something. Leaders use empowerment to improve employee reliance and commitment to the
company, by providing them with the ability to make decisions when it is needed. By granting them
this authority, the employee would be given control of a portion of the business which would provide
an incentive to work harder for the company with the chance for more authority and responsibility in
the future. In this paper, we shall provide a brief history of a major reference to empowerment
leadership styles, ways to empower employees, and the effect of employee empowerment in a
company.
The history of leadership empowerment can be dated back to the early Greeks. This can be seen from
Homer s Odyssey which was used to teach the people of ancient Greece to recognize good leadership
when it presented itself and how to identify crucial elements of good leadership such as respect and
reciprocity. This story would go on to help shape the idea of leadership and empowerment by detailing
the story of Odysseus a soldier who goes to war and his journey home. During his trials and journey,
he encounters many challenges, but is empowered by the Greek Gods to complete his tests.

Ozymandias
Percy and Mary Shelley were the power couple in the world of literature. (Mary Poovey). The Shelley
family was well known in Europe, not only for their affair, but for their poetry and stories. Mary
Shelley wrote Frankenstein or A Modern Prometheus. While Percy Shelley published multiple poems.
Three of those poems that had a substantial impact on society are Ozymandias, To a Skylark, and Ode
to the West Wind. There s multiple messages in each of these, however one message from each sticks
out more than the rest. The three messages from Ozymandias, To a Skylark, and Ode to the West Wind
are that everyone fades from history, one idea could spark a fire of curiosity, and that bad things are
followed by good things. The first message is from Ozymandias, and it is that everyone s name will
eventually fade from history. The poem is about a man who visits egypt and finds a sunken statue in
the middle of the desert. It says the name of an old king who tells people to fear his structures and his
power. However, there is no city and everything he built was consumed by the sand. Michael Henry

Analysis Of Ma Mute LOye
The next movement of Ma mère l Oye, Les Entretiens de la Belle et de la Bête, is the third dream
sequences the princess has while she is asleep. This movement is based off of the story of
conversations between Beauty and the Beast. The quote from the story that Ravel was inspired to
write to is: When I think how, kind hearted you are, you don t seem so ugly. Yes, it is true, I have a
kind heart. Still, I am a beast. Many men are more beastly than you. If I were witty I would think up a
fine compliment by way of thanks, but I am only a beast. Beauty, will you be my wife? No, Beast! I
die happy because I have had the pleasure of seeing you again. No, my dear Beast, you shall not die.
You shall live to be my husband! The Beast vanished and at her feet she saw a prince as beautiful as
the God of Love. The prince thanked her for breaking the spell laid upon him. (Gene De Lisa article)
When the movement begins Beauty is portrayed by solo clarinet with a graceful waltz, this creates the
pictures of a young beautiful princess wander and prancing around the castle. Throughout the piece
Beauty moves between the instruments of solo flute then solo oboe. She is depicted in these light
dance like melodies to give the audience an image of her. She is a young princess who remains
positive and bring love into the Beast s heart. In contrast to light beautiful melodies of Beauty, Beast is
depicted as a ponderous and awkward contrabassoon. When the Beast melodies

American Apparel s Internal Communication Essay
INTRODUCTION Background On July 4th, 2014, American Apparel experienced a crisis on its
Tumblr account. An international social media employee accidentally posted an offensive photo of the
Challenger Space Shuttle Disaster. This resulted in negative feedback from the online community,
which caused the photo to be immediately removed. A quick apology was provided on behalf of
American Apparel to maintain public relations; however, the company s reputation still needs to be

Teaching and learning in the 21st century is advanced and fast paced, however it is often discussed
when the continuous need and want for change occurs. As 21st century education is changing at a
rapid rate our students are now more educated and empowered than ever before. The constant change
in 21st century education links in with globalisation and the many factors that influence social change.
The discussion throughout this essay will entail the major differences between 21st and 20th century
teaching and learning. It will also discuss the major impacts that the changes in globalization, and
factors that influence social change have upon education today.
Twenty first century teaching and learning is the education system that we have today. It prepares our
young learners with the advanced skills to address their challenges within their future. Certain core
competencies such as collaboration, digital technology, literacy and critical thinking and problem
solving are supported by the communication, technology and education that is provided in the 21st
century. Comparing teaching and learning in the 20th century, to teaching and learning in the 21st
century a high and vast amount of change is existent. In the 20th century, learning was mainly
textbook driven, today learning is driven by re search, digital technology, and the world around the
learner. In the 20th century teachers would provide passive learning, today in the 21st century teachers

Make Up History
Makeup has been around for at least 6000 years and some may even say 100000 years, but it all has
evolved to what it is today. Women use makeup to enhance their natural beauty, but how they express
themselves to the public has changed constantly.
Makeup was first originated from Egypt. The ancient Egyptians used copper and lead ore to create the
world s first cosmetics, as early 40000 10000 BCE. They lined their eye with kohl, a substance made
of soot, metal, and fat. It was thought that kohl helped to prevent the eyes from blindness. Red or
orange lipstick was worn to symbolize status both men and women in the upper class wore it. They
also used scented oils and ointments to clean and soften their skin and mask body odor. And also oils
and creams were used for protection against the hot Egyptian sun and dry winds.
During the 3000 BCE, Chinese people stained their fingernails with gum arabic, gelatin, beeswax, and
egg. And with these fingernail stains created different colors which represented different social ...

commercial mascara formulate. It contained of petroleum jelly and carbon soot. The mascara was

Reasons For The Cuban Missile Crisis
During 1962, the United States and the Soviet Union were in conflict due to the Soviet Union placing
missiles in Cuba, known today as the Cuban missile crisis. In attempt to avoid nuclear conflict and
force the removal of the missiles, Kennedy was faced with three options; to bomb the missile sites
and/or conduct both sea and airborne landings, or blockade the island and reassure the removal of the
missiles. Kennedy decided to blockade Cuba as it was the only option that would result in the removal
of the missiles without it escalating to war. The Cuban missile crisis was the closest the Cold War was
to developing into war. This thirteen day long confrontation between the United States and the Soviet
Union began when the Soviet Union deployed ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Kennedy had three options: To bomb the missile sites, to bomb the sites and conduct both sea and
airborne landings, or to blockade Cuba and to confirm the transfer of the missiles from the island. At
first, Kennedy was enraged and wanted to attack the missile sites, but the issue was whether to let
Khrushchev and Castro know his plan. If he had let them know, the Soviet Union could have
responded earlier by striking against Berlin or their bases in Turkey. However, if it would be a surprise
attack many people would be killed, equalling to further conflict. Kennedy reasoned it would not be a
good idea due to the fact it was impulsive and the consequences would be drastic. The Joints Chiefs of
Staff added that a surprise air strike would lead to an invasion.Although the air strike proposal was
done for, the Joints Chief of Staff argued against the blockade debating that it would be inefficient and
useless. Not only did they mention that the blockade would not remove the missiles for the simple fact
that they were already there, but they also pointed out that doing so would cause the Soviet Union to
do it also. Forcing the removal of the missiles would mean the United States would have to remove
their missiles surrounding the Soviet Union too, or so they thought. Although a blockade had its cons,
it was the safer way to go and would cause less extreme consequences according to Secretary
McNamara and Robert F. Kennedy. These three proposals all had their cons; Some more than others,
but Kennedy managed to pick the best out of them

Key Ratios Such As Profitability, Liquidity, Debt...
Objective 5:
In this we are going to analyze important key ratios such as profitability, liquidity, debt management,
asset management.
Profitability:
Source: Morning Star Investment Research center.
From the tabular column we could see that tax rate has been growing each year starting from 2005. In
2014 tax rate reached 34.55%. Normally if tax rate increases, the net margin tends to decrease. But in
the case of American express (NYSE:AXP) the net margin has been increasing each year starting from
2005 to 2014. In 2014 it reached 17.16%. This implies either the revenue has been increasing or
company is decreasing its operating expenses. We could also see increase on return on assets. In 2014
it reached 3.77%. So we can infer that each year the return on assets is increasing which is a good
sign. Financial leverage means the company used debt in the process to acquire new assets. As this has
been on a decreasing note i.e. in 2014 it is 7.7, this means the company s liability is decreasing.
Investors usually prefer a company that has minimal debts. Now we consider return on equity, each
year return on equity is increasing. Investors would be happy because there investment is getting
appreciated. Based on profitability ratios, stock has a tendency to do well in the future.
Liquidity:

The Mindsets Can Cope With The Failure Of The Difference Way
The mindsets can cope with the failure in the difference way.
Have you ever been fail in your life? How do you face with that failure? And what did you say with
yourself in that moment? This question help you determine what is your mindset. So what is mindset?
It is a habitual or characteristic mental attitude that determined how you will interpret and respond to
situations. According to Carol Dweck s mindset book, people in the world was divided into two
mindsets: the fixed mindset and the growth mindset. Fixed mindset which is people think that the
intelligent, smart, high potential of learning is the natural ability. It has already in their body when
they was born and this abilities never change. You are smart or not that who you are. ... Show more

According to Carol Dweck s, the failure doesn t defined the growth mindset but it does with the fixed
mindset. With the growth mindset, the failure never define you it just the matter of how you faced
with, learn experience, and keep your mind moving forward. Taking an example of the famous former
American basketball, Micheal Jordan who was known led the Chicago Bull to six NBA
championships and won the most Valuable Player Award five times. He was refused to play basketball
team at high school because his height didn t match with the standard. His family didn t permitted him
to play basketball because he decided didn t study at school instead of basketball. But with the strong
love for basketball, he kept following and playing with his brother every time and every where. He
keep training him self everyday. One of his school coach said that: Usually, I arrive at school between
7am and 7:30 a.m. Micheal was there before me. Each time come in and open the door, I heard the
sound of bowing, in autumn, in winter, in summer. Almost every morning I had to ask him to leave the
court . Failure doesn t define him. It just motivated him more. He said that: I know that fear is an
obstacle for some people, but for me it just an illusion. Failure always makes me try harder on the next
opportunity. And he was known with the famous said which inspired so many people that: I ve missed
more than 9.000 shots in my career. I ve lost almost 300

Selective Exposition in The Lottery, by Shirley Jackson
Usually when someone hears the word lottery the first thing that comes to mind is a large sum of cash
that people compete against highly impractical odds to win. Shirley Jackson s story The Lottery might
imply a similar conception based on the title alone, but the story is filled with unknowns never
revealing exactly when and where the story takes place, or why the lottery exists; even what the
lottery is isn t revealed until the very end. Yet despite Jackson s omission of details in The Lottery, she
manages to create an overtone of mystery that compels the reader to grasp the world of the story rather
than define it in terms of the physical world and form their own opinions.
Often in stories, setting is a key element, and that the more ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net

Minimalism, being the virtual heart of his style, Carver s stories sometime seem like they lack
motivation. Charles May writes that Carver s story Gazebo is specifically about how pointless
explanation actually is (42). Jackson s story mimics Carver s style a great deal, as very little is
revealed throughout the story, but for a good reason. If Jackson did explain everything about the world
of The Lottery, the reader would be too ensconced with reality while reading the story. May writes that
critic Walter Benjamin surmised that What story does is to show us how to deal with all that we cannot
understand; it is half the art of storytelling to be free from information. Because the reader of the story
is permitted to interpret things, story has an amplitude lacking in information (41). Jackson s story is
not meant to take place in a world that the reader can live in, just one that the reader can believe is
possible, and because the world is shrouded in mystery rather than exposition, the reader is free to
form their own opinions.
A shocking tale of murder in a virtually civilized town, The Lottery remains mysterious to the end.
The reader is blissfully unaware of a majority of details, causing the revelation of what the lottery is to
be all the more shocking. By using this selective exposition, Jackson effectively creates a mystery in
which the reader is free to

Tye Sheridan Sparknotes
Tye Sheridan might be the third actor to play Scott Summers aka Cyclops, but the X Men: Apocalypse
star is certainly happy with the opportunity to play the Marvel mutant. But how does Scott end up
joining the X Men? Sheridan reveals it has a lot to do with Cyclops brother Alex Summers aka Havok
(Lucas Till)! Sheridan recently spoke to Den of Geek, where he talked about taking on the role that
was originally played by Enchanted actor James Marsden. It s such an honor to play a younger version
of James Marsden and it s going to be hard to live up to what he created in the X Men universe,
Sheridan said before explaining that Apocalypse will explore the backstory of several characters. What
s nice about this X Men is that it s very much an origin story for everyone; it is all their beginnings, so
it doesn t exactly have to sync up with where we last saw these characters chronologically and who
they are to us now, he said. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

eventually feels a sense of belonging and the need to help other mutants. It s not until then that he
feels that he actually has a place that he feels normal and that there are people just like him at the
school, Sheridan stated. He s got to quickly get control of his super powers and help the X Men [fight

How Technology Has Changed Our Life And Economic Power Has...
Over the past millennium a lot has changed; technology has skyrocketed to next generation levels,
medicine has been revolutionized to maximize human life and economic power has made the great
nations of today withstand the test of time. These great features, great attributes of the modern world
are only capable due to the minds of the greatest; the most intelligent people in the world. Benjamin
Franklin with the founding of electricity. Rosalyn Sussman Yalow with the development of
radioimmunoassay. Steve Jobs with the revolutionary foundation of the company Apple, changing the
computers of today. All three of these people are incredibly intelligent and have provided tremendous
contributions to today s society. Everything has it s limitations though, just as Einstein once said, Two
things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity; and I m not sure about the universe. Our
capabilities to excel in the field of technology has its limitations. Our memorization and understanding
of information is limited to the cerebrum of our brains. The intelligence of humans is outstanding, but
have we humans already reached our peak of intelligence, or even worse regressed over the years?
Intelligence is the ability to acquire and apply knowledge and skills. Technology might speak for itself
in the aspect of whether intelligence has declined over the years. The general population would think
that, of course the intelligence of people hasn t declined, look at all the amazing things

Families On The Home Front During Wwii
Families on the Home Front during WWII by Ewa Bieciuk
HIST 2200 U.S. History Since 1877
Summer 2015
Prof. Hardin September 1st, 1939 is a day that changed the course of history. Lives were lost, families
ripped apart, towns destroyed, and jobs were created. World War II had just begun with the majority of
the main countries in our world participating in the war that would ultimately kill millions of soldiers
and civilians. Two years later, on December 8th, 1941 after the Japanese surprisingly attacked Pearl
Harbor, the United States entered the war fully. During this time, the U.S. enlisted the help of the
entire nation; soldiers, factory workers, nurses, and doctors were required both overseas and on the
home front. While many men were sent to fight over seas or prepare at combat training on bases in the
U.S., factories and other business were left with a shortage of workers. World War II encouraged, or
more accurately, forced, women and wives to leave their homes to begin working. A familiar image
that many Americans are familiar with is of the women flexing announcing We Can Do It! , which is
greatly recognized as a symbol of the female presence in the workforce. Young adults dropped out of
school to help out in numerous ways. The amount of children working also increased greatly.
Desperate measures to save money and help in the wartime effort lead to many drastic changes in
roles and lifestyles of American families on the home front.

Education and America
Are Teachers Responsible? In his article Kenneth Cole Gets Schooled David Sirota writes, Taking an
honest look at America s education system brings up queries about why other less economically
stratified nations have unionized teachers and far better academic results than here in America (761)
Students in other countries such as Korea, Finland, Japan, the Netherlands, and Canada have far better
academic results than those in America, yet the teachers are not the one who need to be accepting all
the blame for the failing academic standards. I am an elementary education major and have grown up
as a teacher s kid and have always found this statement and fact somewhat interesting. Now attending
college I understand this statement, and ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
In some countries throughout the world kids are put on tracks dependent upon their careers; some get
to go further in the education system than others. Often times these career tracks are ones chosen for
them based upon the family they were born into and their parents wealth and educational knowledge.
Some countries even do inventory tests in order to place students on a track and decide if they get to
continue in education or if they are required to go straight into the work force. One point Carlos Xabel
Lastra Anadón and Paul E. Peterson bring up in their article is that while we need to learn from
countries such as Korea, Finland, Japan, the Netherlands, and Canada we must not copy exactly what
they are doing but more so do what is best for our educational system (1.) I agree with the point they
have made, I do not believe we should implement all of the educational ideas these countries have. I
believe this because like America s educational system their systems have flaws as well. But instead
we should learn from their mistakes and apply and implement them into our own system as needed. In
doing this step I believe we can make our educational system more successful and proficient in
comparison with these countries.
Furthermore, I think in America the freedom and availability we have here in America has allowed us
as students to become

In the second part of the thesis, the geometry of the antennas of each WiFi access point is changed to

spatial spectrum in which the Azimuth Angle of Arrival (AOA) and Elevation Angle of Arrival (EOA)
of all the paths at each URA WiFi access point is located. After that, because our system is considered
under very low SNR, a set of spectra at some APs might be influenced, so, a fine grained fusion

Online Marketing Strategies For Restaurants
Online Marketing Strategies for Restaurants
Restaurant customers search for restaurants on their phones, receive marketing messages digitally, use
the Internet for customer service and research restaurants by reading online restaurant reviews. People
place carryout and delivery orders online, buy eCommerce products from restaurant websites and look
for restaurant menus online. If you re not engaged in online marketing, your restaurant won t be
visible to most customers, even if they re walking by your business but with their eyes glued to their
phone screens.
Eight Online Marketing Ideas
The following techniques will give you a strong working platform to launch all types of online
marketing campaigns, engage customers and prospects more effectively and build a strong Internet

  • 3. Throw-Ins In A Soccer Team While most soccer teams will have several throw ins throughout the game, many teams spend almost no time practicing them. If you are a soccer coach and your players are often committing throw in violations by lifting their feet or failing to bring the ball all the way behind their heads, it is especially important to practice throw ins. While throw ins may feel like a mundane skill, practicing them can become a game. To make practicing throw ins fun, set up cones on the field. Spread the cones out, with some close to the sidelines and others farther away. Split your players into two teams. Allow a player from one team to throw the ball in, trying to hit a cone. Then allow a player from the other team to try. Continue to switch back and forth. ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 4. Analysis Of The Movie Return Streak And Winning A... Manassas is an inner city high school in North Memphis Tennessee with a poorly funned football program that holds a 110 year losing streak. Each individual athlete faces internal and external challenges of growing up in a poor and dangerous neighborhood with little or no parental guidance at all. Coach Bill Courtney devotes the majority of his time to Manassas s football program and also steps in as a father figure to many of these boys and unites the team. In return, this causes the team to perform better on the field, thus, breaking Manassas s losing streak and winning a playoff game. In this documentary there was a mental skill that stood out the most, in particular, group dynamics/ cohesion. Throughout the team s football season coach Courtney helps the boys feel closer with their fellow teammates, thus, resulting in each individual to look out for one another. With that said, in the movie the team worked together to achieve a common goal which was to win a playoff game while also working on individual interpersonal relationships with other teammates. With that in mind, different elements of task and social cohesion are emphasized in this documentary. The theoretical development of group dynamics/ cohesion was exhibited through O.C. Brown. To illustrate, in the beginning of the film O.C. Brown was a short tempered kid who only looked out for himself, however, throughout this documentary O.C. Brown begins to improve on his cohesion with the team and also reveals ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 5. Marina Abramovic Essay Performance art is integral to the story of art because it drastically changed the overall shape and evolution direction of art over the past one hundred years. One of the major artists in this genre of art is Marina Abramovíc, the grandmother of performance art as considered by herself due to her contribution and dedication to the aforementioned form of art since the 60s until today. Having been active for over three decades, her works have a great impact on people nowadays and usually described as remarkable and intensive. Figure 01: Marina Abramovic (Manfred Werner 2012) Having parents that were partisans and being raised in military manner, Marina developed an interest and ability to endure harsh, extreme conditions for a long period of time. She demanded an intense and emotional response from spectators who sometimes found themselves active participants in ways they could not havzae anticipated (Richards, 2010). With that being said, Rhythm 0 is probably the best example there is about this special attribute of her works. It is, possibly, her most challenging and famous work due to its meaning and the way it approached and explored the relationship between the artist herself and her audience. In this piece, Abramovic deliberately played along the edges of her own and her audience s boundaries, testing the limits of both (Kirmizi, 2013, p.26). The rule of Rhythm 0 is quite simple, Marina herself would play the passive role and for the audience, they were given the aggressive role. Using 72 objects, varying from items for pleasure, such as feather and flowers to those that are lethal, such as razor and pistol with a `loaded bullet, the participants could do whatever they want with her during the six hour performance. • 6. Criminal Investigation And The Crime Scene I am sure I am not the only one that thinks of the hit television show CSI when I hear of criminal investigations. What people probably don t know is that the people who work as investigators are not particularly pretty people with pencil skirts, expensive suits, and a full hair and makeup team; they are law enforcers that specialize in the science aspect of solving crimes. In 2009, Hekim stated that: Investigative police work is mostly about the recovery, analysis and interpretation of information about criminal offenses. The investigative process of a crime consists of taking victim and witness statements, examining the crime scene, collecting physical evidence, analyzing collected material to identify the offender(s) and then ... Americans in the late 1700s were recruited from civilian life and it wasn t until the 1950s that a college education was preferred in the investigations department (O Connor, 2006, para. 3). The first major private detective agency of the nineteenth century was formed by Allan Pinkerton in 1819 1884 (Swanson et al., 2002, para 1). In my opinion, the biggest milestone for investigative work was the discovery of DNA. It has made the task of apprehending criminals exponentially easier and is virtually error free. How to become a Criminal Investigator There are different ways to become a criminal investigator: you can go to school and major in criminology or criminal science and get hired as a criminal investigator perhaps in a small town where prior experience is not required or you can take the most common avenue and become a police officer first. After becoming a sworn police officer, you can receive on the job training and attend specialized classes to become an investigator. • 7. Nursing Theory in Practice Nursing Theory In Practice Chamberlain College of Nursing NR 501: Theoretical Basis of Advance Practice September 25, 2011 Introduction Imogene King was the developer of both a Conceptual Framework and a Goal Attainment theory. The Goal Attainment theory is a middle range theory that originated from the Conceptual System. The primary concepts of Goal Attainment theory are perception, communication, interaction, self role, grow and development, stress, and time and space (Frey, Sieloff Norris, 2002). The main point of Goal Attainment theory is that the nurse and the patient work together to define and reach goals that they set together (Killeen King, 2007). This process is done mostly through communication, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The cause of poor or lack of communication skills are many and include time availability of nurses to get time to sit and talk with patients; lack of privacy; shortage of qualified nurses who are available to talk to patients; lack of training; and different languages. Poor communication skills also affect goal setting and goal attainment, which leads to increase return follow up, visits in the emergency room (Williams, 2001). The application of communication into the nursing practice is done through the process of the nurse conducting a comprehensive assessments on patients, making diagnoses, setting realistic goals and evaluating outcomes (Khowaja, 2006). During the assessment of the patient is when interaction occurs and the nurse collects data regarding the patient. The data collected from the assessment is used to make nursing diagnosis from identified problems communicated between the patient and the nurse. After the nursing diagnosis is made, the nurse continues to communicate with the patient to plan by setting goals. The patient is encouraged to participate in decision making for collaboration of achievement of goals. Once the goals are set, the nurse and the patient collaborate through communication to formulate the means by which the goals can be attained. However, mutual goal setting is only successful if the patients trusted that the goal would benefit them (Williams, 2001). With communication, nursed have to ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

This type of growth is important as it helps the child grow and provides a purpose for the child. Another benefit is that this toy will encourage solitary and active play, types of social patterns and play, which is vital for child s development. This toy supports skill development through maturation as children will learn how to play with this toy as they mature cognitively. According to Piaget s idea of schemas which are created by assimilation and accommodation, the schema for the child in the preoperational stage will be that they will think that two different shapes of the same colour would both fit into the same cut out hole in the box, when in fact, they will not. The child then goes through assimilation, where they will adjust their existing schema and understand that an object can be classified by more than one feature. The state of the schema is then changed from disequilibrium to equilibrium. Therefore, this toy is developmentally appropriate to children in the preoperational stage as it will encourage the child to overcome an issue they face in their age period. • 9. Psycho Analysis The movie Psycho was filmed in 1960 by Alfred Hitchcock. The movie focuses on a woman named Marion Crane. It starts when she steal 40,000 dollars from her boss to run away with her boyfriend. It s late and she decides to check into a motel, the Bates Motel. At the motel, she encounters a middle aged man named Norman Bates. He becomes morbidly obsessed with her. But he then kills her...dressed as his dead mom. There is a show that acts as a prequel to Hitchcock s masterpiece; Bates Motel. It is focused on Norman Bates and his mother, Norma Bates whereas the movie is focused on Marion Craine. Bates Motel is a very well written show, with great acting, and is filled with a ton of textbook psychology. There are very many different subplots in the show, but this paper is strictly going to analyze Norman and his relationship with his mother. It goes very in depth about the very troubling relationship between a son and mother, and how it led to Norman developing a dangerous persona of his mom. You could even say that Norman has an Oedipus conflict. An Oedipus conflict is apart of one of the psychosexual stages thought of by Sigmund Freud. He believed that during the age of 3 6, a child developed feelings for the parent of the opposite sex. And the only way to get over that feeling was to identify with his father. His Oedipus conflict would go on to never be resolved because his father was abusive. The series starts off after Norman hits his father in the head with a blender, killing him. His mom covers it up and makes it look like an accident to protect Norman. His father had been very abusive to him and his mother. Child abuse is said to be one of the most common causes of many mental illnesses. In this case, the abuse caused him to dissociate, or go off into his own little world where he felt safe in. It was very traumatic for a young Norman and his mother. People who tend to experience very traumatic things together have a stronger bond than those who don t. Norman and his mother are so codependent on each other that it s toxic. It is very apparent that Norman has a Dissociative Identity Disorder, also known as Multiple Personality Disorder. In the story Where the Red Fern Grows the theme is to cherish those close to you before it s too late. The story is also a good lesson to learn because you never know when someone vital to your life may die so cherish them while you have them. This quote from pinterest fits the theme of the story because when Old Dan and Little Ann almost died Billy felt like he should ve loved them more when they were alive. Without that time in the story the story would be completely different. This is a wise quote because when Billy got his dogs after working so hard to get them he knew that once he got the dogs he would remember how he got his dogs forever. That was one of the most important parts in the story and without them the story would be different. Since the part is in the story now the part makes a huge impact on the book and that is why that supports my quote and theme. In the story there were several moments that Billy would remember for the rest of his life . Billy had multiple lessons he had learned through the course of his life so far, and there will still be many more lessons to come. There are other pieces to this story that are important to the story. There is one part in the story where Little Ann and Old Dan nearly died from the winter storm. • 11. Uncle Tom s Cabin And Searching For Sugar Man Many times in literature and film we have come across characters or historical figures that show selfless acts which has created incredibly touching stories and has added a different dynamic to a story without trying. I believe that in Uncle Tom s Cabin and Searching for Sugar Man (Malik Bendjelloul, 2012) there were many acts of selflessness which allowed for both of these works to stand out from others. The story of Uncle Tom s Cabin in itself was fascinating, but Tom and very few other characters showed selfless acts which made the story even more interesting. As for Searching for Sugar Man, Sixto Rodriguez and his family were shown as some of the most selfless people I have ever seen. The Rodriguez family had so little and were taken advantage of by lying record labels, but were so thankful and appreciative of the people in South Africa when Sixto finally performed there. At the very beginning of Uncle Tom s Cabin we are introduced to Tom, a slave owned by Arthur and Emily Shelby. We learn that the Shelby s are struggling financially and are meeting with a slave trader, Mr. Hayley, to figure out which of their slaves could be sold for the most money. Tom has great value in the eyes of the Shelby s but Mr. Hayley believes that he could be sold for a great amount of money. • 12. Parker s Back by Flannery O Connor To the uninitiated, the significance of Flannery O Connor s Parker s Back can seem at once cold and dispassionate, as well as almost absurdly stark and violent. Her short stories routinely end in horrendous, freak fatalities or, at the very least, a character s emotional devastation. Flannery O Connor is a Christian writer, and her work is message oriented, yet she is far too brilliant a stylist to tip her hand; like all good writers, crass didacticism is abhorrent to her. Unlike some more cryptic writers, O Connor was happy to discuss the conceptual and philosophical underpinnings of her stories, and this candor is a godsend for the researcher that seeks to know what makes the writer tick. Flannery O Connor put much conscious ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... For me, the most chilling aspect of the story is the description of a prophetic water stain above Asbury s bed: Thematic Elements This concept of displacement runs throughout O Connor s work, and it is essentially a displacement from the world of the one true God, a theological displacement, although within the context of the story it is more social, based on the nature of the freak s position in the society. Very often, the grotesque elements of O Connor s stories are balanced out by anagogical ones. Again, the latter are not specifically symbols, for symbols work contextually to represent interactive story elements, whereas O Connor s anagogical elements are just there, they wander in and out of the action; they may have symbolic significance, but it never comes directly into play as a plot element. Facing death is another thematic element that recurs often in O Connor, for obvious reasons, both personal and religious. 23 O Connor admits as much herself, in an essay in which she discusses A Good Man is Hard to Find : The heroine of the story, the Grandmother, is in the most significant position life offers the Christian. She is facing death. 24 This last quote speaks volumes; it is probably the single most significant and telling remark the student of Flannery O Connor can have in his attempt to understand her work. • 16. Leadership In The Odyssey The Oxford dictionary defines empowerment as, The authority or power given to someone to do something. Leaders use empowerment to improve employee reliance and commitment to the company, by providing them with the ability to make decisions when it is needed. By granting them this authority, the employee would be given control of a portion of the business which would provide an incentive to work harder for the company with the chance for more authority and responsibility in the future. In this paper, we shall provide a brief history of a major reference to empowerment leadership styles, ways to empower employees, and the effect of employee empowerment in a company. The history of leadership empowerment can be dated back to the early Greeks. This can be seen from Homer s Odyssey which was used to teach the people of ancient Greece to recognize good leadership when it presented itself and how to identify crucial elements of good leadership such as respect and reciprocity. This story would go on to help shape the idea of leadership and empowerment by detailing the story of Odysseus a soldier who goes to war and his journey home. • 18. Analysis Of Ma Mute LOye The next movement of Ma mère l Oye, Les Entretiens de la Belle et de la Bête, is the third dream sequences the princess has while she is asleep. This movement is based off of the story of conversations between Beauty and the Beast. The quote from the story that Ravel was inspired to write to is: When I think how, kind hearted you are, you don t seem so ugly. Yes, it is true, I have a kind heart. Still, I am a beast. Many men are more beastly than you. If I were witty I would think up a fine compliment by way of thanks, but I am only a beast. Beauty, will you be my wife? No, Beast! I die happy because I have had the pleasure of seeing you again. No, my dear Beast, you shall not die. You shall live to be my husband! The Beast vanished and at her feet she saw a prince as beautiful as the God of Love. The prince thanked her for breaking the spell laid upon him. (Gene De Lisa article) When the movement begins Beauty is portrayed by solo clarinet with a graceful waltz, this creates the pictures of a young beautiful princess wander and prancing around the castle. Throughout the piece Beauty moves between the instruments of solo flute then solo oboe. She is depicted in these light dance like melodies to give the audience an image of her. She is a young princess who remains positive and bring love into the Beast s heart. In contrast to light beautiful melodies of Beauty, Beast is depicted as a ponderous and awkward contrabassoon. If he had let them know, the Soviet Union could have responded earlier by striking against Berlin or their bases in Turkey. However, if it would be a surprise attack many people would be killed, equalling to further conflict. Kennedy reasoned it would not be a good idea due to the fact it was impulsive and the consequences would be drastic. The Joints Chiefs of Staff added that a surprise air strike would lead to an invasion.Although the air strike proposal was done for, the Joints Chief of Staff argued against the blockade debating that it would be inefficient and useless. Not only did they mention that the blockade would not remove the missiles for the simple fact that they were already there, but they also pointed out that doing so would cause the Soviet Union to do it also. Forcing the removal of the missiles would mean the United States would have to remove their missiles surrounding the Soviet Union too, or so they thought. Profitability: Source: Morning Star Investment Research center. From the tabular column we could see that tax rate has been growing each year starting from 2005. In 2014 tax rate reached 34.55%. Normally if tax rate increases, the net margin tends to decrease. But in the case of American express (NYSE:AXP) the net margin has been increasing each year starting from 2005 to 2014. In 2014 it reached 17.16%. This implies either the revenue has been increasing or company is decreasing its operating expenses. We could also see increase on return on assets. In 2014 it reached 3.77%. So we can infer that each year the return on assets is increasing which is a good sign. Financial leverage means the company used debt in the process to acquire new assets. Charles May writes that Carver s story Gazebo is specifically about how pointless explanation actually is (42). Jackson s story mimics Carver s style a great deal, as very little is revealed throughout the story, but for a good reason. If Jackson did explain everything about the world of The Lottery, the reader would be too ensconced with reality while reading the story. May writes that critic Walter Benjamin surmised that What story does is to show us how to deal with all that we cannot understand; it is half the art of storytelling to be free from information. Because the reader of the story is permitted to interpret things, story has an amplitude lacking in information (41). Jackson s story is not meant to take place in a world that the reader can live in, just one that the reader can believe is possible, and because the world is shrouded in mystery rather than exposition, the reader is free to form their own opinions. Lives were lost, families ripped apart, towns destroyed, and jobs were created. World War II had just begun with the majority of the main countries in our world participating in the war that would ultimately kill millions of soldiers and civilians. Two years later, on December 8th, 1941 after the Japanese surprisingly attacked Pearl Harbor, the United States entered the war fully. During this time, the U.S. enlisted the help of the entire nation; soldiers, factory workers, nurses, and doctors were required both overseas and on the home front. While many men were sent to fight over seas or prepare at combat training on bases in the U.S., factories and other business were left with a shortage of workers. World War II encouraged, or more accurately, forced, women and wives to leave their homes to begin working. A familiar image that many Americans are familiar with is of the women flexing announcing We Can Do It! , which is greatly recognized as a symbol of the female presence in the workforce.
