The Tragedy Of Vladimir Lenin And The Rise Of Joseph Stalin
Some of the most tragic moments in Russian history occurred during the tumultuous period between
the death of Vladimir Lenin and the rise of Joseph Stalin during the 1930s. This was a time of massive
devastation during which almost 5 million peasants died of starvation due to the failures of collective
farming. Thousands of men and women were also falsely accused of anti patriotism and sent to
Siberian labor camps in which they experienced rampant disease, physical and emotional abuse, and
often execution. Vasily Grossman endeavors to discern who is to blame for these injustices through his
novel Everything Flows . Grossman s main character, Ivan, has just been released from almost a thirty
year imprisonment following the death of Stalin. Through Ivan s recollections of camp life and
assimilation into Post Stalinist Russia, Grossman reveals the forces he believes are at fault. However,
his understanding of this guilt is far more complex as revealed through the means by which he
evaluates the culpable factors. Grossman uses a method of assessment similar to a bottom up analysis
by beginning with the individual elements of the Communist Party and progressing to a larger holistic
view of Russian civilization. This method allows for multiple factors to bear some of the blame
without undue bias holding one entirely accountable. Thus, Grossman is arguing that the slave identity
embedded in Russian history was responsible for the development of certain characteristics in Lenin s

Jackson Pollock s The Deep
The Deep was painted by Jackson Pollock in 1953 and was mostly done with black and white, which
he considered the essential colors. There are some pecks of yellow and light blue throughout the
canvas. The painting was huge, 5 X7 , and was painted with oil and enamel on canvas. Pollock would
paint this size canvas by putting it on the floor and placing one leg on it while he painted. Pollock used
a drip method which consisted of pouring paint on the canvas and dripping paint onto it with sticks
and brushes. Pollock s most famous paintings were created during the drip period from 1947 to 1950.
In his painting, The Deep, the white color can be considered the surface and the black color being that
part where a person s deep secrets hide. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
His life changed overnight after a publication in Life magazine in 1949. There was a four page article
on him and his paintings in which he was asked if he was the greatest living painter in the United
States. As his fame grew, some began calling him a fraud and he began to question his own work and
had to have his wife tell him which paintings were good. In the 1950 s Pollock began assigning
numbers and dates rather than names to his paintings, as he considered symbolic titles misleading.
During this period he abandoned the drip method and painted in black and white only. He was not
successful with these changes and had showings in which no paintings were sold. He became very
depressed and returned to drinking very heavily as he had done many times before. His marriage
deteriorated to the point his wife returned to Paris to give him some time to work out his problems. He
began seeing other women and on the night of August 11, 1956 his life ended with him being killed in
a car accident while driving drunk and hit a tree. His wife returned from Paris to buy him and went
into a mourning that lasted the rest of her life. She did manage the sale of Pollock s painting and
placed them in museums. At her death, the estate was worth $20 million

International Trade Organization And Trade Agreements
International trade has been present in society for centuries; however, today s interconnected
economies and growing globalization has to lead to an increase in trading regulations and the creation
of trading blocs which aim to implement easier and cheaper trade within global economies. In 1995,
164 countries came together to create the world trade organization. This organization deals with
trading rules and agreements within nations. This report will assess the benefits and challenges which
occur through international trade agreements. As well as aiming to provide an overview of trade
policy issues and how the international trading system operates. 1.The role of the world trade

To protect business growth and ensure no business can steal the assets of another the WTO created the
controversial trade related aspects of international property rights(TRIPS) agreement. Innovative
activity has been the single, most important component of long term economic growth 3 and because
IPRs stimulate inventive and creative activities 4 because the trips agreement is implemented to
protect innovation, it can be inferred that this agreement is crucial in generating economic growth. The
WTO has not only enhanced the value and quantity of trade but has also assisted in eradicated trade
and non trade barriers. WTO has also broadened the trade governance scope to trade in investment,
services and intellectual property. It has emerged as a greater organization than GATT and expanded
the agenda by including developmental policies which further helped in settlement of disputes and
improved monitoring by introducing the Trade Policy Review and the World Trade Report as well as
increased transparency by removing green room negotiations. 1.1 The two different types of trade:

Compare The Great Gatsby And Who s Afraid Of Virginia Woolf
Compare and contrast the ways in which the authors of The Great Gatsby and Who s Afraid of
Virginia Woolf portray marriage and relationships. How far would you agree that both texts portray
marriage and relationships to present a judgement on the the society that they are set in? Marriage and
relationships in The Great Gatsby and Who s Afraid of Virginia Woolf can be said to be portrayed as
corrupted and fundamentally flawed, through their dialogue, characterisation of the individuals and
symbolism surrounding the relationships. In the case of Who s Afraid of Virginia Woolf specifically
we can see instantly non hegemonic characterisation. Due to, what can be described as, its Absurd
stylistic qualities it can be said to be making a judgement on the society that the play is based in. As
this is a recurring theme of plays associated with the theatre of the absurd. It can also be said that the
nature of the relationships in both The Great Gatsby and Who s Afraid of Virginia Woolf are used by
Fitzgerald and Albee to present a judgment on the state of the society they are set in, times of change.
It could also be a more general view on the morals and values of America and the way in which the
society has evolved and been corrupted. Fitzgerald uses the relationship between Myrtle and Tom to
present society s anxieties on materialism and sexuality. This can be seen in the way that Myrtle is
first introduced into the novel, through the way she looks. the thickish

Antimicrobial Stewardship
Antibiotic resistance is becoming a more prevalent issue. This is a growing dilemma because, not only
do patients have the potential to develop resistance, but they also can transmit the resistant bacteria to
others (McKellar, 2014). Additionally, it is estimated that over one third of all antibiotics prescribed to
patients are unnecessary (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, 2016). Overutilization of
antibiotics is a growing problem due to some patients inappropriate demands for antibiotics or
misdiagnoses by prescribers, however, underutilization of antibiotics can be just as problematic.
Physicians are trained to use good antimicrobial stewardship when prescribing antibiotics; only giving
them to patients who truly do have a bacterial infection. This becomes an issue when providers are too
cautious and do not prescribe antibiotics in an attempt not to contribute to antibiotic resistance.
Unfortunately, this caution could have a detrimental effect on the health of patients who actually need
the antibiotics. To combat this issue, we must find a balance between good antimicrobial stewardship
to minimize resistance while also taking underutilization into consideration. We, as pharmacists, are at
a unique position between the physician and ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
While stewardship is extremely important to slow the rate of resistance, we must also make sure that
patients in need of antimicrobial therapy receive the treatment they need. Price of medication and
overly cautious prescribers are two of many barriers that patients may experience; as clinicians it s
important that we do our part to promote appropriate and affordable treatments. Ideally, prescribers
could determine the exact pathogen using a swab or culture of the infected tissue. This would prevent
misdiagnoses and reduce unnecessary costs to the

Grade Point Average Research
Sleep Affects Your Grade Point Average, More Than You Think
Introduction
Research has shown that one s grade point average is directly correlated to one s sleep (Chiang, 2014;
Hershner Chervin, 2014). Along with that, sleep affects one s grade point average through a
psychological standpoint, as in the brain s functionality (Kelly, 2001; Milan 2005). Where on the other
hand, others say that sleep length have nothing to do with grade point average at all, it s due a lack of
commitment to work and study hard, in an efficient way. (Hershner Chervin, 2014; Milan 2005). Yet,
many students lack sleep and hurt their gpa s doing so, with no adjustments being made to change.

There three types of sleepers according to Kelly (2001). The three types being short sleeper, average
sleepers, and long sleepers. The three types described are the lengths compared to the average time a
student should sleep. The idea behind Potts Datema (2005) is that students who sleep for sometime
should be fine. The length can vary, but if a student gets some time to sleep is fine, because they at
least get some sleep, no matter the length they sleep. Kelly (2001) also found the out of the three type
of sleepers that the short sleeper, the ones who sleep less than the average time they should, that they
have the lowest grade point average compared to the other two types. Also, the average sleepers, who
sleep the average time and the long sleepers, who sleep longer than the average time they should, both
have significantly higher grade point averages. But, between the average and long sleepers, the long
sleepers have a slightly high grade point average. Therefore, the length of sleep is necessary to a
higher extend, than just being able to get some time to sleep. Also, the reaction and response time of
the student depends on the length of which they sleep (Chiang 2014; Kelly, 2001). They both also
found that the reaction and response time of a short sleepers are more delayed than an average and
long sleepers are. Also, a long sleeper has the best reaction and response time, due to they got to rest
and regain their energy back, and not be drowsy like short sleepers would be and sometimes an
average student would. They have more time to rest their whole body and mind, to be refreshed when

Analysis Of The Kingdom Of Heaven
ANALYSIS OF THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN Lucas Castelo Branco HIST 2023 10/18/2017 The
Kingdom of Heaven is an epic film directed and produced by Ridley Scott, and written by William
Monahan, filmed in Morocco. The story of the Kingdom of Heaven is set during the Crusades of the
12th century, and is basically about the life of Balian, a French blacksmith, who defends the Kingdom
of Jerusalem against the Muslims and reclaims the city from the Christians. In this story, I could travel
back in time to experience life during the era of the Crusades and learn more about the perspective of
duty between the Christians and Muslims. To better understand the Kingdom of Heaven, it is
important to know what the Crusades were. The ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Instead, the Crusades seek to reclaim what was originally theirs, no matter the cost. The Crusades
were a failure in their goal of conquering the Holy Land for Christians. They cost a lot to the European
nobility and resulted in thousands of deaths. Nevertheless, these expeditions influenced great
transformations in the medieval world. They have weakened feudal aristocracy, strengthened royal
power, and made possible the expansion of the market. Eastern civilization contributed much to
European cultural enrichment, promoting intellectual development. Never again was Jerusalem
dominated by Christians, but the movements on the way to the Holy Land expanded relationships with
the known world at the time. The first hour of Kingdom of Heaven is decisive for the rest of the film.
It is in these moments that we will meet Balian, a blacksmith who is devastated after he lost his wife
who had committed suicide. It is important to say that suicide was considered to be an irredeemable
sin, for example, the church believed suicide was a road to hell. Balian has no prospects in life when
he receives a visit from Baron Godfrey of Ibelin. He introduces himself as Balian s father and invites
him to become a knight and defend Jerusalem, ruled by King Baldwin IV, who is a leper hidden
behind a mask of iron. Godfrey knows the difficult moment that Balian is going through, so he

Liberalism in Canadian Government Essay
Liberalism is the best ideology for Canada s government and is a good combination of both Socialism
and Conservatism. Liberalism takes the finer parts from both ideologies to create a better form of
government. Canadians now have a choice in which ideology they like better by this compromised
form of government. The centre of the spectrum and the equilibrium of government and individual
ownership is the definition of Liberalism.
A good example of why Liberalism is the number one choice from most Canadians is public and
privatized hospitals. Right now, Canada only has public hospitals that are free for everybody in need
of medical assistance but require a health care plan. Public hospitals are paid by taxes, just like public

Or they won t have to spend tons of money on private doctors. Instead, Canadians would have a
choice and freedom to choose whichever ideology objective they prefer.
This reason why we get such low and competitive prices on goods is due to the fact that we have less
government control on what kinds of shoes to wear, colour car to drive, etc. This is a mostly
Conservationist, who agree that their should be individual ownership on things. The problem with this
is, as sad as it is to say, people need to be given some direction because people make mistakes. With
this is in play, limits can be made to how low prices go or how you can t sell certain items. Liberalism
is exactly this and is already being implemented throughout Canada. I find no problems with the way
Canada s economy is running now, so why change it?
People are not equal. The whole idea of trying out for a team or getting a scholarship is what makes us
human. Humans are naturally competitive and strive to become better at whatever it is they enjoy.
Everybody is different, they can be smarter, stronger, faster, etc. Therefore I believe that people with
smarter, more complex jobs, should deserve more money. People who do not apply themselves should
earn less money. Again though, it comes down to choices. Unions were created in Canada for the
socialist point of view, where every worker in a union get roughly the same pay and are treated fairly.

The Perception Of The Human Brain s Brain
The significance of this video s phenomenon is that it assists people learn what kinds of conduct can
help protect themselves to acceptably fit in their civilization making them into, instinctive copycats
and for a really good reason: survival... as deep in the brain...we got special cells known as mirror
neurons (H. C. Sinclair, 2013). It also relates to current human behavior for the reason that it echoes
the modeling or imitation behavior executed by children and adolescents. For example, individuals
that are into Football will get worked up from just watching it due to similarly reacting to the
responses of the actual audience at the game. The reason as to why is because of the outcome of the
human brain s premotor cortex initiating its mirror neurons via trying to mentally mimicking the same
movements communicated by their facial expressions. Ultimately, the simulation of these neurons on a
cellular level is fundamental for humans to effectively comprehend the feelings of others or empathize
that can straightforwardly be influenced without their knowledge such as the case of advertisers that
earn millions each year from making use of this unique wiring to their advantage.

Narrative Experience Of Ramadan
The tutorial class was filled with anticipation. Something was going to happen. Every Muslim friend

All Men Are Created Equal Dbq
All men are created equal , though this would be a fact of the Western World society today, it was
certainly not always that way. With the beginning of slavery in the 1600s, to becoming the main cause
of the Civil War and abolishment of it, here is slavery; from the Union s point of view.
The earliest form of slavery in North America can be traced back to Jamestown, Virginia in 1619.
There, they were called the Twenty and Odd and considered servants rather than slaves. Though little
is known about this infamous event, this trade continued of capturing Africans from Africa and
bringing them to the colonies of Britain. The usage of slaves increased and were often used as field

By the end of the war, there were roughly 198,000 African Americans in the Civil War. This was a
controversy for not only some of the Union who refused to fight alongside an African American, but
also for the South who would see them in combat. There were disputes among both sides over the
Union taking slaves from the South and ultimately rescuing them. Though the North claimed it was
legal, considering slaves were property and both sides were allowed to raid and confiscate property
from each other. This was particular accomplishment on the Union s half, for it took the Confederate s
words and used them against them.
The Union won the war and slavery was officially abolished with the thirteenth amendment in 1865.
This great accomplishment brought America one step closer to equality, though there is still work to

on SDC database, I conducted the MDT s press release and annual report on the website to check the
present states of the alliances. In addition, MDT and alliance partners websites were reviewed for the
company information. Furthermore, theoretical analysis is conducted based on the book Network

Protein And Carbohydrates Essay
Protein and carbohydrates are both macronutrients required for health reasons. But which one of these
macronutrients before a run affects running performance more favorably? Most people recognize
protein as something that helps build stronger muscles. But is that the only thing that protein helps
with? Carbohydrates which are also called sugar is stored as glycogen in the muscles and comes from
healthy (fruit) and unhealthy (candy) places. Researchers were curious to know, what macro nutrient
has a more favorable effect on running, protein or carbohydrate (sugar)? People can improve their
running by improving their diet. Sugar is a carbohydrate. When runners eat sugar the sugar is turned
into glucose in our blood. Then it is stored into the muscles which are called glycogen. Glycogen
gives people the energy to run for a longer amount of time. Sugar is energy. Runners mostly eat
natural sugar like fruits because of the vitamins and minerals and not processed sugar like candy and
junk food which can cause diseases like diabetes. Glycogen can be stored through a runner s liver as

The great thing about protein is that not only does it help humans lose weight, but it is a backup for
sugar. What this researcher means is that when runners run out of energy in their muscles, then protein
will give the muscles energy. Protein is used to help the muscles heal faster after running. The runners
will drink a protein shake after their run to help their muscles heal from the soreness from their

The Effects And Effects Of Video Recording On Anxiety
Abstract
As the use of technology increases, more and more companies will be turning to recordings to monitor
and save data, including therapists, interviewers, and law enforcement officials. It s important to
understand what effects being recorded will have on the outcome of the conversations. Using college
students and placing them in different situations of recorded discussions, this study seeks to measure
the effects of these type of data gathering on anxiety and truthfulness. Using the information gathered,
we will make conclusions regarding the most effective ways of getting the proper information from
subjects or clients that could be used in real life situations to come.
Effects of Video Recording on Anxiety
As technology advances, there is considerably less need for the use of old practices. We re seeing this
now in ways we could never have imagined. Interviewers, interrogators, and therapists alike are
debating turning to video and audio recording to preserve sessions rather than note taking, which can
be a source for mistakes.
Implementing live recording in therapy, interviews, and interrogations allows for more accurate
recollection of thoughts and ideas for both parties. One stated benefit from the study conducted by
Decarlo and colleagues was that with the recording method, the officers were able to spend more time
listening and interacting with the suspect than taking accurate notes of the interrogation, which could

How does the Bible Influence Political Thought and Action...
How does the Bible Influence Political Thought and Action in Our Culture? The Bible is a unique
book that is different from others because it contains sacred text that has continued to influence
societies from generation to generation. Generally, the impact of this sacred book is worldwide since it
has affected every department of human activity. The influence of the Bible on society is derived from
the fact that it contains various themes that are used to shape the moral progress of the world. In
addition, the influence of this book is not restricted to Christians and Jews because it impacts more
than 50 percent of the world population. One of the major ways that the Bible has influenced society is
through its effects on politics, especially political thought and action. In most cases, the Bible is used
as the basis for formation of laws and rules that govern society.
The Bible and Politics: In today s society, there are Christians who have unhealthy focus on social and
political issues to an extent that it is detrimental to their personal testimony and the gospel in general.
On the other hand, there are those who argue that Christians should have minimal or nothing to do
with politics (Specht, n.d.). However, these groups need to reconsider their views and beliefs based on
what the Bible teaches regarding politics. Despite of the difference in the role of Christians in politics,
the Bible is essential to political philosophers and theorists as well as the modern

Nature Vs. Nurture
Scientists have been investigating about genetic inheritance and its influence on behavior in humans.
A gene is the unit of heredity that is passed on from parent to offspring. These investigations have
been conducted because there has been a lot of debate about whether human behavior is more
influenced by genetics or the environment. This debate is also called Nature Vs. Nurture . Although
there is a clear correlation between genetics and behavior, genetic inheritance only has a partial
influence due to the environmental factors that also play a role in shaping behavior. This statement can
be supported by correlational studies that have been performed by numerous scientists over many
years. Correlational studies are used to investigate if two variables have a relationship with each other,
without actually knowing if one causes the other. Scientists use twin and adoption cases for the
correlational study of genes and environment with behavior as it allows specific variables to be tested.
For example, since twins share the same genetic information, analyzing pairs of twins when they are
in different environments helps scientists record a correlation between genes and environment with
behavior. Adoptive studies also help see if different environments have a bigger influence than genes
on behavior by comparing a child s behavior with with their biological and adoptive parents . The
Minnesota Twin Study of 1990 was conducted by Bouchard to investigate if genetics and

Coefficient of correlation measures the strength of linear relationships between two variables. The two
variables must have an interval scale of measurement. Relationships of 1.00 and +1.00 have strong
respective positive or negative correlations. A relationship of zero identifies a weak relationship
between the two variables being analyzed. Primary and Secondary Data Sources The retention of Wal
Mart employees has been a problem. A quantitative correlational study to access job pay satisfaction,
turnover intentions, and leadership styles will be discussed. The primary data consisted of
questionnaire surveys. If required, informal interviews can be included. The primary data research was
to determine whether satisfaction with supervisor or overall job pay satisfaction is more significantly
related to turnover intentions. The primary data was coded for a quick analysis and was verifiable by
re questioning. Secondary data was extracted from published statistics such as census, housing and
social security data. Other secondary data was retrieved from similar industry models, internal

associated with job satisfaction as a means to increase retention. Data was collected from a sample of

The Invisible Man By Ralph Ellison
Book Review: Invisible Man
Invisible Man is an American Literature novel published by Ralph Ellison in 1952. The novel traces
the experiences of a young college black man growing up in Harlem, New York. Attempting to
succeed in a predominantly white society, the narrator encounters shocks and disillusionments from
being expelled from college to hiding in an underground hole to protect himself from the people
above. He lives a repressed life as an Invisible Man for he believes that society ignores him and only
sees what they want to see. Early in the novel he says, I am invisible, understand, simply because
people refuse to see me. (Ellison 3). The narrator is simply seen as another black man and for that
people do not acknowledge him as an individual. He believes that people refuse to look beyond
themselves and see the man in front. The frustration over this ultimately consumes him and
contributes to his invisible identity.
The narrator begins the story by reminiscing about his invisible life. He recalls the time when he gives
a speech in high school, then is was asked to present it again for the town s white community leaders.
After being humiliated and treated like an animal at the battle royal he is awarded with a scholarship
to the state s black youth college. Through this situation, we learn that even though he is given the
opportunity of a good education, he is reminded that he is to remain in his place as a black man. It
doesn t matter how smart he is or

Critical Analysis Of Elizabeth Barrett Browning
The Hopeless Romantic: Elizabeth Barrett Browning
In the poem How do I love thee? by Elizabeth Barrett Browning, Browning asks how she loves her
beloved and goes on to list the ways in which she loves him. Her love is seen as eternal and exists
everywhere which brings to light the tone and styling of the poem and how it fits in the movement it
was written in. Elizabeth Barrett Browning was born in 1806 at Coxhoe Hall, Durham, England.
(Poetry Foundation) During the time of her writings, she was seen as one of the most influential poets
for the Romantic Movement. Romantics focused on nature, human feelings and compassion, and
rebelling for a cause, which Browning shows a lot of throughout her sonnet.
Browning was born in 1806 at Coxhoe Hall in Durham, England. She was a romantic writer but it
closely reflected the life she was living at the time. The oldest of twelve children, Elizabeth was the
first in her family born in England in over two hundred years. For centuries, the Barrett family, who
were part Creole, had lived in Jamaica, where they owned sugar plantations and relied on slave labor.
(Poetry Foundation) Elizabeth s father, chose to raise his family in England, while his fortune grew in
Jamaica. Educated at home Elizabeth apparently read passages from Paradise Lost and a number of
Shakespearean plays, among other great works, before the age of ten. By her twelfth year, she had
written her first epic poem, which consisted of four books of rhyming couplets. In 1826 , Elizabeth
anonymously published her collection An Essay on Mind and Other Poems. Two years later, her
mother passed away and the slow abolition of slavery in England and mismanagement of the
plantations depleted the Barrett s income. Elizabeth s father moved his family to a coastal town and
rented cottages for the next three years before settling permanently in London. Her father did not
allow his children to marry, having them work on the plantations in Jamaica instead. Gaining attention
for her work in the 1830s, Elizabeth continued to live in her father s London house, not by choice
however. He began sending Elizabeth s younger siblings to Jamaica to help with the family s estates.

This is the story of a teenager named Eugene. The story of a teen, about 5.2 feet tall, brown hair, and

Eugene was so indulged by dolphins that he actually started to ponder that he was a dolphin. Not a

Explain Why The Government Should Change The Driving Age...
Introduction
Car crashes are one of the leading causes of death amongst teens today, and teens 16 18 have the
highest car crash rates of any age group. Currently the government is only taking precautionary
measures. Even though drivers education and written testing are good, there s more the government
can do. For such a major issue the government is doing very little to prevent it. The change begins
with education. Once people know about the issue then there s more support for government
involvement. The government should change the driving age to 18 because politically it would unify
the United States under one age and reduce car crashes.
Historical Perspective
Ever since the automobile gained its popularity in the 1920 s, car crashes have always been a risk that
came with the responsibly of driving. Starting in 1921, states began to lower the driving age to 16
from 18 according to grounded parents.com. In the time of the roaring 20 s, the addition young drivers
on the road, increase in alcohol consumption, and increase in number of automobiles purchased led to
an age of reckless driving. As shown in a photograph in the library of Congress from a 20s car crash,
Two cars are completely destroyed and one is smashed into a tree with two solemn people standing
next to it. This photograph shows the opposite of the perception of the roaring 20s. Instead of seeing
the exciting new adventures the automobile has to offer, the viewers see destruction, devastation , and
loss. Another authentic political cartoon from the 20s published by the Saint Louis Star displays the
same theme of the other side of the roaring 20s. The political cartoon shows a car ... Show more

Alexander The Great Propaganda
Propaganda is known as the method of communication that is proposed to shape the viewpoint of a
society to a particular source that profits an individual or a group. It also includes information that is
intentionally spread, as well as the distribution of information, that is used to influence a community s
views on someone or something. Propaganda is used as a tool of influence, and it is also a pervasive
factor in our modern day social and political organizations. The term propaganda originally started in

He is pictured on the coin with horns and diadem. The horns of Zeus Ammon to be exact. A diadem is
a headband made of cloth and is known as a symbol for royalty. This feature suggest his divinity. This
coin was another tribute to Alexander as a god like figure. Also, Alexander s eyes on this coin are a
giveaway for his aggressiveness as a leader, but shows his divine side as well (The Celator,
Goldsborough). This coin was issued by his successor Lysimachus in 290 BCE
(Fox). This coin was made in silver and is now in the British Museum in London, England (Hellenistic

propaganda. These coins showed the people of the Hellenistic period that even though Alexander was
no longer alive he was still greatly known throughout the empire.
Alexander s use of propaganda, in opinion, was one of the best uses in history. He used art as
propaganda to create his god like symbol for himself. In doing this he created his own use of
propaganda. He conquered an empire, defeated other leaders, and gained the respect and control of his
people. Alexander was one of the most brilliant and powerful known leaders in history. To this day
Alexander is well known through is use of artistic and warlike propaganda. The images and art that we
see today still convey his intense leadership and figure. The images also convey the fascination that

The Ballad Of Birmingham, By Duley Randall
Many poems deal with the harsh realities of the death of a loved one and how those affected begin to
heal as they work through the process of grieving. The Ballad of Birmingham, Eating Alone and
Eating Together all portray individuals dealing with a devastating loss in their life, and the authors use
their personal life experiences and views, incorporating them their writings. In The Ballad of
Birmingham the author, Duley Randall, works to convey a tragic scene of loss. The event that Randall
is referring to is the September 15th, 1963 bombing, in Birmingham Alabama, of a predominantly
African American church. This bombing resulted in the deaths of four young girls; Denise McNair,
Carole Robertson, Addie Mae Collins, and Cynthia Wesley, and also many others were injured. This
hate crime was committed by four members of the Ku Klux Klan as an act of terrorism against the
Afro American people. Duley Randall was one of the first African American writers and poets.
Randall was born in 1914 and had personally experienced much racism first hand throughout his life.
Because of this Randall had a personal connection to the same prejudice felt by the black community
and could relate to the people of Birmingham. Actually, the bombings in Birmingham impacted him
and the nation deeply and were a major reason why Randall chose to begin writing about the events of
the time. He focused on the events that were related to the racial injustices endured by the people.

In addition there is a 5.5 percent solidarity surtax. This brings to the tax burden to 16.7 percent of the
German GDP. With the government taking in these tax dollars the German government spends
approximately 44.3% of the GDP. Most importantly Germany s budget currently enjoys a surplus.
(http://www.heritage.org/index/country/germany). This is in sharp contrast to the United States which
has one of the highest corporate tax rates, currently topping out at 35%, while the United States only

clearly into focus why this is such a major point of interest in the current election. It appears that the
cost of being in business in Germany is less than the United States and therefore makes them more

American Traditions And Qualities Of The United States Essay
For many international students, acclimating to American society can be troublesome and occasionally
disappointing. American traditions and qualities may be altogether different from those of your nation
of origin, and you may discover them befuddling. America s populace reflects surprising ethnic
differences. Non white individuals dwarf whites in a lesser expansive urban area. Daily papers
regularly utilize such terms as Asian American, Italian
American, and Bedouin American to mirror the ingenuity of different ethnic legacies inside the
Unified States. There are individuals whose skin is named white, dark, cocoa, yellow and red.
There are individuals who have numerous years of formal instruction and individuals who have about
none. There are the exceptionally rich and also the extremely poor. There are
Republicans, Democrats, Independents, Communists, Communists, Libertarians, and disciples of other
political perspectives too. There are Legal advisors, agriculturists, handymen, instructors, social
laborers, movement officers and individuals in a great many different occupations. Some live in urban
zones and some in rustic ones. Given this differing qualities, would one be able to conveniently
discuss Americans ? Probably so, given that one is watchful.

moving more than 900 people drank Kool Aid laced with Cyanide and died. This is Regarded as one

because of Money? Or was the Government involved?
Although what Happened in 1978 at Jonestown may be a Mystery there are still a few things
Historians agree on. When the United States began questioning the Motives and actions of the Peoples

The theory also goes that the United states Government had no involvement and that the Reason he

Millions of dollars and many argue if he had taken advantage of his Group (The Peoples Temple). To
add to the theory, Jones mostly integrated African Americans into his Congregation (Mass Suicide at
Jonestown 2). Which at the time Many Blacks did not have a Church to take them in so Jones would

succeed or fail. Driverless cars could impact all stakeholders, but it may affect manufacturing and
legal stakeholders to a greater extent than the others. Manufacturing driverless cars is without a doubt
a whole other world than the conventional cars that we have at present, so making sure that the cars
are being manufactured as proficiently as they can be is essential. This also affects the legal side of the
matter, due to the fact that shoddy products may result in harm to the consumer, which may prove to
be inopportune and damaging for the

Discover the Intricacies of Agoraphobia Essay
Among the many diseases in this world, some of the most interesting and least understood are
illnesses of the mind. One aliment in particular, Agoraphobia, is of particular interest to me as it
affects many of my family members in ways both subtle and drastic, and I cannot help but wonder if I
too will fall victim to it. I know from previous knowledge that this particular ailment is a mental one,
though I have witnessed it causing drastic physical symptoms, and that it generally involves a fear of
leaving home for an open, public place. Through research, I aim to find the cause of agoraphobia,
including anything that predisposes one to it, and treatments for it, including both medications and
therapy. I would also like to know just how ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Aside from written, digital sources, it was required of me to conduct an interview for this assignment,
something that I at first was weary of, but was ultimately glad I did. I first had to decide on to whom
to interview, and I did so by first asking myself what I wanted to know more from a real person, and
what would be easier to find out from a real person. This essentially boiled down to talking to either a
doctor about treatment or a patient about how the disease is truly experienced. Eventually I chose to
do the later, because finding medical papers was relatively easy, but finding out the real difficulties of
the disease was something that was too personal for most scientific sources. I chose to interview my
aunt, Linda Pistole, as she out of all of my family had the worst case of agoraphobia, and contacted
her through a simple phone call. She agreed to the interview and arranged to answer my questions
over lunch at her house the next day. I conducted the interview rather cautiously, as I knew it was a
difficult topic, so gentleness was key. Tape recording was out of the question during the interview so I
took notes instead, and knew that I could always call again if I managed to forget something
important. Overall, I felt that the interview went better than I expected. The information I received had
detail, but not bloated with technical jargon as most formal sources are, and I found it to be quiet
useful. It illustrated well

Battle Of Austerlitz Research Paper
The battle of Austerlitz also known as the battle of the three emperors is seen as the greatest victory by
Napoleon and one of the most important battles of the Napoleonic wars. After the battle the Austrians
were forced to sign the treaty of Pressburg and eventually this lose lead to the end of the war of the
third Coalition. The battle of Austerlitz was seen as a tactical masterpiece for Napoleon and Napoleon
stated after the battle that it was as if both armies were marching under his command. Napoleon was a
tactical genius and he used his genius to bate the Austrian forces before the battle of Austerlitz leaving
the learning Russian and Austrian forces to fight the battle. The battle took place December 2, 1805
near the town of Austerlitz in the Austrian empire. The battle was fought between Napoleon and the
third coalition which was made up of Russia and Austria and was lead by Tsar Alexander I and
emperor Francis II. This battle is regarded as Napoleon s greatest victory because of ... Show more

Francis II was the last Holy Roman emperor and after his defeat and the dissolution of his empire he
formed the Austrian empire and changed his name from Francis II to Francis I. After his loss at
Austerlitz Francis was forced to sign the treaty of Pressburg. This treaty eventually lead to the end of
the holy roman empire and it made Austria give up many of its European lands. Although, Austerlitz
was a major loss for the holy roman empire and the third coalition over all it would be worse for
Napoleon. This is because eventually the fourth and fifth coalitions were formed and the Austrian and
Russian generals knew that to defeat Napoleon they needed to defeat his subordinates. The battle of
Austerlitz had a major impact on Austrian identity because it lead to the creation of the Austrian

Neoconservatism In The United Sate
Together with understanding the beliefs of neoconservatism and the importance, the attractiveness
presents itself. With the disorder that can come from liberalism, conservatism proves to be a more
secure, orderly option. A mother with children would no longer have to worry about the barrage of
obscenity. In order for people to live in healthy society, while cultivating happiness, consideration is
key. By human nature, stepping on the toes of others is a popular outcome. With order being provided
by neoconservatism, the possibility of widespread would be a higher probability.
Neoconservatism doesn t make its name by radical force, but a more middle of the road option.
Neoconservatism is only interested in providing what is best for society. In the bounds of the United
Sates, the objective is not to eliminate individual freedom, but to limit it. These limitations are healthy
medium for those concerned with individual freedom and order. Equally important is that it provides a
middle ground for those who are sided with individual and classical conservatism. There is a
substantial distrust of the government while maintaining a care for the fabric of society. In like
manner, the common good can be lost when individual freedom is left to run rampant, and
neoconservatism works to maintain it. Each person living in society should be pleased on reasonable
scale. That s not to say that everyone should get what they want, but there should be a shared
satisfaction. One of the most important goals in neoconservatism is to look after other people.
Neoconservatism is especially attractive for those who feel modern liberalism is steering the country
into a hole. Those who feel forgotten and not cared about are likely to find a home in a
neoconservative driven society.
Predicted Outcome A world dominated by neoconservatism would be drastically different than what
can be seen today. Today, the United States prides itself on the progression of its democratic system
and inclusion of all citizens. Outcomes of such emphasis on progression and inclusion include
programs put into place to support citizens. Some of these programs include welfare and social
security. Topics along the lines of protest, and other policy are also

The 1968 Presidential Campaign
Life Magazine 1968
The editorial section of Life Magazine devoted a lot of its writing to the 1968 Presidential campaign.
Early on it seems that it will be Richard Nixon running against President Johnson. Only Richard
Nixon and George Romney started out running in the primaries, suggesting that this seriously
underrepresented the Republicans. However, if he were to run, Nelson Rockefeller was believed to be
the republican most likely to beat Johnson. By the end on the first quarter the emergence of Nelson
Rockefeller, Robert Kennedy, and Eugene McCarthy brings new animation to the race.
At the beginning of the second quarter Johnson has declared that he will not seek a second term as
President opening up the chance for Vice President Humphrey to throw his hat into the ring. This
alters the scheme for those campaigning as they can no longer claim that anyone but Johnson would
do a better job. After the Assassination of Robert Kennedy and the continual premature writing off of
McCarthy it appears that by the end of the second quarter it will be ... Show more content on

The Presidential election did little to combat this uneasiness that the public felt for its government.
While the assassinations of Martin Luther King Jr. and Robert Kennedy caused many people to
become disheartened. Poverty was a major issue within the African American community in major
cities across the country. A growing number of minorities were fighting and dying in Vietnam while
their families struggled to purchase or rent homes in certain residential areas. The Fair Housing Act
passed in April of 1968 was just one small step to bring equality to minorities. Along with the starting
of corporations run by minorities like Pride to help train and put those that were once hustlers and
addicts to work. 1968 was full of hardships for many Americans, but it wasn t without its great
achievements toward a better life for the working class of

  • 2. The Tragedy Of Vladimir Lenin And The Rise Of Joseph Stalin Some of the most tragic moments in Russian history occurred during the tumultuous period between the death of Vladimir Lenin and the rise of Joseph Stalin during the 1930s. This was a time of massive devastation during which almost 5 million peasants died of starvation due to the failures of collective farming. Thousands of men and women were also falsely accused of anti patriotism and sent to Siberian labor camps in which they experienced rampant disease, physical and emotional abuse, and often execution. Vasily Grossman endeavors to discern who is to blame for these injustices through his novel Everything Flows . Grossman s main character, Ivan, has just been released from almost a thirty year imprisonment following the death of Stalin. Through Ivan s recollections of camp life and assimilation into Post Stalinist Russia, Grossman reveals the forces he believes are at fault. However, his understanding of this guilt is far more complex as revealed through the means by which he evaluates the culpable factors. Grossman uses a method of assessment similar to a bottom up analysis by beginning with the individual elements of the Communist Party and progressing to a larger holistic view of Russian civilization. This method allows for multiple factors to bear some of the blame without undue bias holding one entirely accountable. Thus, Grossman is arguing that the slave identity embedded in Russian history was responsible for the development of certain characteristics in Lenin s ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 3. Jackson Pollock s The Deep The Deep was painted by Jackson Pollock in 1953 and was mostly done with black and white, which he considered the essential colors. There are some pecks of yellow and light blue throughout the canvas. The painting was huge, 5 X7 , and was painted with oil and enamel on canvas. Pollock would paint this size canvas by putting it on the floor and placing one leg on it while he painted. Pollock used a drip method which consisted of pouring paint on the canvas and dripping paint onto it with sticks and brushes. Pollock s most famous paintings were created during the drip period from 1947 to 1950. There was a four page article on him and his paintings in which he was asked if he was the greatest living painter in the United States. In the 1950 s Pollock began assigning numbers and dates rather than names to his paintings, as he considered symbolic titles misleading. During this period he abandoned the drip method and painted in black and white only. He was not successful with these changes and had showings in which no paintings were sold. He became very depressed and returned to drinking very heavily as he had done many times before. His marriage deteriorated to the point his wife returned to Paris to give him some time to work out his problems. International Trade Organization And Trade Agreements International trade has been present in society for centuries; however, today s interconnected economies and growing globalization has to lead to an increase in trading regulations and the creation of trading blocs which aim to implement easier and cheaper trade within global economies. The WTO has not only enhanced the value and quantity of trade but has also assisted in eradicated trade and non trade barriers. WTO has also broadened the trade governance scope to trade in investment, services and intellectual property. It has emerged as a greater organization than GATT and expanded the agenda by including developmental policies which further helped in settlement of disputes and improved monitoring by introducing the Trade Policy Review and the World Trade Report as well as increased transparency by removing green room negotiations. 1.1 The two different types of trade: Trade is divided into two types. Compare The Great Gatsby And Who s Afraid Of Virginia Woolf Compare and contrast the ways in which the authors of The Great Gatsby and Who s Afraid of Virginia Woolf portray marriage and relationships. How far would you agree that both texts portray marriage and relationships to present a judgement on the the society that they are set in? Marriage and relationships in The Great Gatsby and Who s Afraid of Virginia Woolf can be said to be portrayed as corrupted and fundamentally flawed, through their dialogue, characterisation of the individuals and symbolism surrounding the relationships. In the case of Who s Afraid of Virginia Woolf specifically we can see instantly non hegemonic characterisation. Due to, what can be described as, its Absurd stylistic qualities it can be said to be making a judgement on the society that the play is based in. As this is a recurring theme of plays associated with the theatre of the absurd. It can also be said that the nature of the relationships in both The Great Gatsby and Who s Afraid of Virginia Woolf are used by Fitzgerald and Albee to present a judgment on the state of the society they are set in, times of change. It could also be a more general view on the morals and values of America and the way in which the society has evolved and been corrupted. • 6. Antimicrobial Stewardship Antibiotic resistance is becoming a more prevalent issue. This is a growing dilemma because, not only do patients have the potential to develop resistance, but they also can transmit the resistant bacteria to others (McKellar, 2014). Additionally, it is estimated that over one third of all antibiotics prescribed to patients are unnecessary (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, 2016). Overutilization of antibiotics is a growing problem due to some patients inappropriate demands for antibiotics or misdiagnoses by prescribers, however, underutilization of antibiotics can be just as problematic. Physicians are trained to use good antimicrobial stewardship when prescribing antibiotics; only giving them to patients who truly do have a bacterial infection. This becomes an issue when providers are too cautious and do not prescribe antibiotics in an attempt not to contribute to antibiotic resistance. Unfortunately, this caution could have a detrimental effect on the health of patients who actually need the antibiotics. To combat this issue, we must find a balance between good antimicrobial stewardship to minimize resistance while also taking underutilization into consideration. Grade Point Average Research Sleep Affects Your Grade Point Average, More Than You Think Introduction Research has shown that one s grade point average is directly correlated to one s sleep (Chiang, 2014; Hershner Chervin, 2014). Along with that, sleep affects one s grade point average through a psychological standpoint, as in the brain s functionality (Kelly, 2001; Milan 2005). Where on the other hand, others say that sleep length have nothing to do with grade point average at all, it s due a lack of commitment to work and study hard, in an efficient way. The three types being short sleeper, average sleepers, and long sleepers. The three types described are the lengths compared to the average time a student should sleep. The idea behind Potts Datema (2005) is that students who sleep for sometime should be fine. The length can vary, but if a student gets some time to sleep is fine, because they at least get some sleep, no matter the length they sleep. Kelly (2001) also found the out of the three type of sleepers that the short sleeper, the ones who sleep less than the average time they should, that they have the lowest grade point average compared to the other two types. Also, the average sleepers, who sleep the average time and the long sleepers, who sleep longer than the average time they should, both have significantly higher grade point averages. But, between the average and long sleepers, the long sleepers have a slightly high grade point average. Therefore, the length of sleep is necessary to a higher extend, than just being able to get some time to sleep. Also, the reaction and response time of the student depends on the length of which they sleep (Chiang 2014; Kelly, 2001). They both also found that the reaction and response time of a short sleepers are more delayed than an average and long sleepers are. They have weakened feudal aristocracy, strengthened royal power, and made possible the expansion of the market. Eastern civilization contributed much to European cultural enrichment, promoting intellectual development. Never again was Jerusalem dominated by Christians, but the movements on the way to the Holy Land expanded relationships with the known world at the time. The problem with this is, as sad as it is to say, people need to be given some direction because people make mistakes. But which one of these macronutrients before a run affects running performance more favorably? Most people recognize protein as something that helps build stronger muscles. But is that the only thing that protein helps with? Carbohydrates which are also called sugar is stored as glycogen in the muscles and comes from healthy (fruit) and unhealthy (candy) places. Researchers were curious to know, what macro nutrient has a more favorable effect on running, protein or carbohydrate (sugar)? People can improve their running by improving their diet. Sugar is a carbohydrate. When runners eat sugar the sugar is turned into glucose in our blood. Then it is stored into the muscles which are called glycogen. Glycogen gives people the energy to run for a longer amount of time. Sugar is energy. The influence of the Bible on society is derived from the fact that it contains various themes that are used to shape the moral progress of the world. A gene is the unit of heredity that is passed on from parent to offspring. These investigations have been conducted because there has been a lot of debate about whether human behavior is more influenced by genetics or the environment. This debate is also called Nature Vs. Nurture . Although there is a clear correlation between genetics and behavior, genetic inheritance only has a partial influence due to the environmental factors that also play a role in shaping behavior. This statement can be supported by correlational studies that have been performed by numerous scientists over many years. Correlational studies are used to investigate if two variables have a relationship with each other, without actually knowing if one causes the other. Scientists use twin and adoption cases for the correlational study of genes and environment with behavior as it allows specific variables to be tested. For example, since twins share the same genetic information, analyzing pairs of twins when they are in different environments helps scientists record a correlation between genes and environment with behavior. Because this device runs at 40 kilohertz, the sound frequency is well above amicable human hearing, but is detectable to dogs. When the inaudible wavelengths create a pocket of low pressure, they can counteract the gravitational force of a polystyrene ball 5mm in circumference. Allow its rather paltry ability to levitate only light weight material averts this technology from being applied as a tractor beams, medical scientists are exuberant about the fact that they can modify it to activate acoustic medication and manipulate individual ... • 22. The Invisible Man By Ralph Ellison Book Review: Invisible Man Invisible Man is an American Literature novel published by Ralph Ellison in 1952. The novel traces the experiences of a young college black man growing up in Harlem, New York. Attempting to succeed in a predominantly white society, the narrator encounters shocks and disillusionments from being expelled from college to hiding in an underground hole to protect himself from the people above. He lives a repressed life as an Invisible Man for he believes that society ignores him and only sees what they want to see. The frustration over this ultimately consumes him and contributes to his invisible identity. The narrator begins the story by reminiscing about his invisible life. He recalls the time when he gives a speech in high school, then is was asked to present it again for the town s white community leaders. After being humiliated and treated like an animal at the battle royal he is awarded with a scholarship to the state s black youth college. • 23. Critical Analysis Of Elizabeth Barrett Browning The Hopeless Romantic: Elizabeth Barrett Browning In the poem How do I love thee? by Elizabeth Barrett Browning, Browning asks how she loves her beloved and goes on to list the ways in which she loves him. Her love is seen as eternal and exists everywhere which brings to light the tone and styling of the poem and how it fits in the movement it was written in. Elizabeth Barrett Browning was born in 1806 at Coxhoe Hall, Durham, England. (Poetry Foundation) During the time of her writings, she was seen as one of the most influential poets for the Romantic Movement. Romantics focused on nature, human feelings and compassion, and rebelling for a cause, which Browning shows a lot of throughout her sonnet. Browning was born in 1806 at Coxhoe Hall in Durham, England. She was a romantic writer but it closely reflected the life she was living at the time. The oldest of twelve children, Elizabeth was the first in her family born in England in over two hundred years. For centuries, the Barrett family, who were part Creole, had lived in Jamaica, where they owned sugar plantations and relied on slave labor. (Poetry Foundation) Elizabeth s father, chose to raise his family in England, while his fortune grew in Jamaica. Educated at home Elizabeth apparently read passages from Paradise Lost and a number of Shakespearean plays, among other great works, before the age of ten. By her twelfth year, she had written her first epic poem, which consisted of four books of rhyming couplets. In 1826 , Elizabeth anonymously published her collection An Essay on Mind and Other Poems. Two years later, her mother passed away and the slow abolition of slavery in England and mismanagement of the plantations depleted the Barrett s income. Elizabeth s father moved his family to a coastal town and rented cottages for the next three years before settling permanently in London. Her father did not allow his children to marry, having them work on the plantations in Jamaica instead. Gaining attention for her work in the 1830s, Elizabeth continued to live in her father s London house, not by choice however. He began sending Elizabeth s younger siblings to Jamaica to help with the family s estates. Elizabeth opposed of slavery and did ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 27. Explain Why The Government Should Change The Driving Age... Introduction Car crashes are one of the leading causes of death amongst teens today, and teens 16 18 have the highest car crash rates of any age group. Currently the government is only taking precautionary measures. Even though drivers education and written testing are good, there s more the government can do. For such a major issue the government is doing very little to prevent it. The change begins with education. Once people know about the issue then there s more support for government involvement. The government should change the driving age to 18 because politically it would unify the United States under one age and reduce car crashes. Historical Perspective Ever since the automobile gained its popularity in the 1920 s, car crashes have always been a risk that came with the responsibly of driving. Starting in 1921, states began to lower the driving age to 16 from 18 according to grounded parents.com. In the time of the roaring 20 s, the addition young drivers on the road, increase in alcohol consumption, and increase in number of automobiles purchased led to an age of reckless driving. As shown in a photograph in the library of Congress from a 20s car crash, Two cars are completely destroyed and one is smashed into a tree with two solemn people standing next to it. This photograph shows the opposite of the perception of the roaring 20s. Instead of seeing the exciting new adventures the automobile has to offer, the viewers see destruction, devastation , and loss. • 29. The Ballad Of Birmingham, By Duley Randall Many poems deal with the harsh realities of the death of a loved one and how those affected begin to heal as they work through the process of grieving. The Ballad of Birmingham, Eating Alone and Eating Together all portray individuals dealing with a devastating loss in their life, and the authors use their personal life experiences and views, incorporating them their writings. In The Ballad of Birmingham the author, Duley Randall, works to convey a tragic scene of loss. The event that Randall is referring to is the September 15th, 1963 bombing, in Birmingham Alabama, of a predominantly African American church. This bombing resulted in the deaths of four young girls; Denise McNair, Carole Robertson, Addie Mae Collins, and Cynthia Wesley, and also many others were injured. This hate crime was committed by four members of the Ku Klux Klan as an act of terrorism against the Afro American people. Duley Randall was one of the first African American writers and poets. • 39. Discover the Intricacies of Agoraphobia Essay Among the many diseases in this world, some of the most interesting and least understood are illnesses of the mind. One aliment in particular, Agoraphobia, is of particular interest to me as it affects many of my family members in ways both subtle and drastic, and I cannot help but wonder if I too will fall victim to it. I know from previous knowledge that this particular ailment is a mental one, though I have witnessed it causing drastic physical symptoms, and that it generally involves a fear of leaving home for an open, public place. Through research, I aim to find the cause of agoraphobia, including anything that predisposes one to it, and treatments for it, including both medications and therapy. Aside from written, digital sources, it was required of me to conduct an interview for this assignment, something that I at first was weary of, but was ultimately glad I did. I first had to decide on to whom to interview, and I did so by first asking myself what I wanted to know more from a real person, and what would be easier to find out from a real person. This essentially boiled down to talking to either a doctor about treatment or a patient about how the disease is truly experienced. Eventually I chose to do the later, because finding medical papers was relatively easy, but finding out the real difficulties of the disease was something that was too personal for most scientific sources. I chose to interview my aunt, Linda Pistole, as she out of all of my family had the worst case of agoraphobia, and contacted her through a simple phone call. She agreed to the interview and arranged to answer my questions over lunch at her house the next day. I conducted the interview rather cautiously, as I knew it was a difficult topic, so gentleness was key. Tape recording was out of the question during the interview so I took notes instead, and knew that I could always call again if I managed to forget something important. Overall, I felt that the interview went better than I expected. The information I received had detail, but not bloated with technical jargon as most formal sources are, and I found it to be quiet useful. It illustrated well ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 42. Neoconservatism In The United Sate Together with understanding the beliefs of neoconservatism and the importance, the attractiveness presents itself. With the disorder that can come from liberalism, conservatism proves to be a more secure, orderly option. A mother with children would no longer have to worry about the barrage of obscenity. In order for people to live in healthy society, while cultivating happiness, consideration is key. By human nature, stepping on the toes of others is a popular outcome. With order being provided by neoconservatism, the possibility of widespread would be a higher probability. Neoconservatism doesn t make its name by radical force, but a more middle of the road option. Neoconservatism is only interested in providing what is best for society. In the bounds of the United Sates, the objective is not to eliminate individual freedom, but to limit it. These limitations are healthy medium for those concerned with individual freedom and order. Equally important is that it provides a middle ground for those who are sided with individual and classical conservatism. Only Richard Nixon and George Romney started out running in the primaries, suggesting that this seriously underrepresented the Republicans. However, if he were to run, Nelson Rockefeller was believed to be the republican most likely to beat Johnson. By the end on the first quarter the emergence of Nelson Rockefeller, Robert Kennedy, and Eugene McCarthy brings new animation to the race. At the beginning of the second quarter Johnson has declared that he will not seek a second term as President opening up the chance for Vice President Humphrey to throw his hat into the ring.
