In this power point I have introduced and described my target audience, and my magazine is suitable for them.

1. Who would be the
audience for your
media product?

2. My target audience would be between the ages of 16 – 19. She is a teen
who is interested in reading, different and educated. The reader of this
would have her own sense of style and never follow the crowd just to fit in.
Through her fashion being unique and individual, she will adopt her own
trends that suit her and show off her own personality.
Music is a passion of hers. She listens to music everyday to the point where
it is a must in her everyday life. The song she is listening to describe what
type of mood she is in. She enjoys listening to solo artists as well as bands
as long as they are good and suit her style. The most likely music to be on
her iPod is artists such as Arctic Monkeys, Jake Bugg, Florence and the
Machine ect...

3. My magazine is suitable for my target audience because of the
fact that it includes all the relevant information that my target
audience would be highly interested in. For example,
interviews with their favourite bands and solo artists, reviews
on previous gigs and concerts, posters for their bedroom walls
and information about up and coming gigs the can attend.
Also, the layout will need to be organised to its easy to read
and enables the reader to be quicker in finding the information
the require.

4. I have choose this target audience as they are the right age to be
attending gigs and concerts with friends. I carried out questionnaires and
focus groups to fans of this genre to help me make more decisions in the
way my final product should be. After watching videos of concerts and
gigs I decided that my target audience should be 16 – 19 year olds. Below
