The Conflict Of Humanitarian Intervention Essay
Humanitarian intervention has been debated since long time ago, since the end of Cold War. This issue
has been a good point in International Relation studies. Many intervene has been done before and it
was started in Rwanda and Balkans genocide tragedies in 1994. This dispute happened between the
Hutu and Tutsi, ethnic group from Rwanda. Hutu extremist blamed Tutsi bring a lot of bad social
impact to the country, they were also accused as the people behind rebel group named Rwanda
Patriotic Front (RPF). In 1992 the tension between two ethnic became hotter than ever by the use of
propaganda and politic maneuver by Habyarimana and its group. The tension reach its point in 1994
when a helicopter carried Habyarimana was shot down, and the violence began immediately after that.
Hutu starting to collect their people and launched an attack to Tutsi, and everyone who try to slow,
oppose or even stop their action killed, include political leaders and their own people, the Hutu. All
the people who s Tutsi and even suspected as a Tutsi was killed, entire family murdered, kids died,
woman brutally raped, a mass destruction of humanity. From the beginning in 6 April 1994 and weeks
after that, 800.000 men, woman, and child died. This resulted because of the elite promote fear and
hatred to make themselves ruling the government, and make them keep their power. They believe by

My First Love Essay
Everyone loves to tell the story of their first love, and the beautiful lesson they learned through the
adventure. You hear the phrase, you ll never forget your first as you see a small smirk flourish across
the faces of people who remember their story. Through all the experiences shared, I never would have
believed the result of falling out of love. All of the novels and sweet smiles never hinted about the
time I would end up crumbled down on my bedroom s floor, with two years of a person s presence
surrounding a broken heart. Nobody will speak of watching your first love leave for college, knowing
that they will want to move on. I went through the stages of heartbreak that left me with a cracked and
bruised heart. The recovery and journey of finding acceptance and love for myself, created a book of
my personal lessons. Going back to that summer is like reading the final book of your favorite series,
you soak in the words trying to read slow, savoring. Completing the series leaves a bitter sweet
moment, comparing to the emotions that overcame my mind through the process of watching him go.
However, it was not beautiful and bittersweet as romance novels paint your first love out to be. Each
page in our novel transformed from love to a war zone, as loyalty became nonexistent, and trust only
present in waves. The summer was beautiful, but in my heart I knew that this novel was only a fairy
tale coming to it s end. There was nothing left to be painted. That hot and humid

The Components Of Effective Handwriting Interventions For...
What are the components of effective handwriting interventions for typical primary school age
children with handwriting difficulties?
2.2 Search strategy
Following the formulation of the research question, in February 2015 a systematic approach was taken
to search the existing evidence of interventions for primary school children with handwriting
difficulties and all occupational therapy.
A search was carried out using 5 bibliographic databases. Databases related to healthcare were
selected based on relevance to the topic of occupational therapy and handwriting. Initial electronic
searches were carried out on the databases in December 2014 to ensure the literature involved was a
comprehensive measure available on this topic. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
2.3 Criteria for searching the literature
Exclusion criteria were set up to determine the most relevant articles be included to inform for the
research question (Aveyard 2010).
Studies that included children with medical or educational diagnoses that may confound the results
were excluded from the search (e.g. developmental coordination disorder, autism, severe
developmental delay, etc.).
As this study aims to explore and compare the components of handwriting interventions that are
effective; studies that did not describe an intervention strategy to improve handwriting were excluded
from the review.
2.4 Critical Appraisal
In order to assess the validity and usefulness of the papers, a systematic approach is used to critically
appraise the research (Young and Soloman, 2009). All papers in this review have been critically
appraised using the critical appraisal protocol CASP (Public Health Resource Unit (PHRU) 2007)
which is a recognised tool (Aveyard 2010). These can be found in the appendix (appendices 1 5).
2.5 Searching the papers
A total of 152 papers were found through database searching. A further 5 papers were found through
reference lists of relevant papers. 141 papers remained when duplicates were removed. After scanning
the titles of the papers, 116 were removed, as they were irrelevant to the topic of handwriting
interventions for primary school children. After reading through the abstract of the remaining 12
papers, a further 7

Specimens Report
Specimens are taken aseptically, utilizing specific control guidelines, to prevent environmental
contaminants or normal flora that is unrelated to the infection, from influencing the results. The
manner in which a specimen is taken can influence the accuracy of the results and therefore skew the
appropriate treatment. There are specific guidelines for how each type specimen is collected, handled,
stored and cultured. General aseptic procedures should always be utilized, such as using sterile
collection containers to prevent contamination from the environment. It is also vital when collecting a
specimen, to only gather a sample from the infected area, as the surrounding areas may contain other
bacteria or normal biota. Taking a specimen aseptically helps to ensure there in no cross contamination
and helps to isolate the pathogen causing the infection. Using a catheter from the bladder to get a urine
sample, is an example of taking an aseptic sample. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
When collecting nonsterile specimens such as urine, feces, and sputum on selective media, there are
specific guidelines for not only the collection process but transportation and storage procedures as
well, since the samples can begin to deteriorate at room temperature. A special swab and transport
system ensures the specimen can be maintained in a stable condition for several hours. This transport
system for the specimen, is a nonnutritive maintenance media which ensures the microbes can survive
but not grow, a buffering system and an anaerobic environment that prevents the destruction of oxygen
sensitive bacteria. With nonsterile specimens containing a multitude of bacterial species, culturing
them on selective media, will encourage the growth of only the suspected

Space Junk Epidemic
Space Junk Today, speeding past our Earth ten times faster than a bullet (tweentribune), are millions of
pieces of space junk ranging in size from flecks of paint to entire Satellites (NASA). To most people
this does not sound like much of a problem, but even a fleck of paint moving 17,500 miles per hour or
more can cause significant damage to spacecraft and space walkers alike. As more collisions take
place and as new items enter the atmosphere the statistical probability of a collision will increase.
Eventually, the probability of a collision will become so high that it will be unsafe to enter space from
Earth (NASA). Now, as discussion of colonizing Mars intensifies, space junk has a new way of
spreading and clogging up more of the universe. When humans colonize Mars they will ... Show more

As of December 2015 there were 1071 operational satellites around the Earth and over 21.000 objects
larger than 10cm hurtling around the planet (Universetoday). In 2013 there were 81 space launches
and in 2014 that number increased to 92 space launches. 2014 had the highest number of space
launches in a year in more than two decades (spaceflightnow). If those on Mars could cut back on the
number of Satellites they put up they would have a significantly lower statistical probability of
collisions. This would make long term space use possible.
Another important anti space junk component is banishing pieces of rockets that fall off, like solid
rocket boosters on the Space Shuttle (Space.com). These large chunks of debris would cause extreme
amounts of damage. If a fleck of paint can harm satellites and space suits then a 177 foot long, 12 foot
diameter, 1.6 million pound Solid Rocket Booster would be cataclysmic. If various space
organizations can reduce the number of rocket stages they use, they can dramatically reduce the
amount of large space junk orbiting the Red

The History Of Fossil
Fossils are the way scientists trace the way back to things that were once living but have died. They
can be plant or animal bodies that have been partially or completely replaced by minerals. Fossils are
the preserved remains or traces of living things. Molds and casts, which are two of the more common
fossils, are copies of the shapes of ancient organisms. Petrified fossils are remains in which minerals

Epilogue Of George Steinbeck s Of Mice And Men
Of Mice and Men
Epilogue
Two hours after George killed Lennie, George was at the bar with Curley and Slim to get a drink, and
the three began talking about Lennie, making George start to think if he had done the right thing by
shooting Lennie in the head. After the three left the bar, George walked out onto the street and saw
Curley s wife walking down the street. George decided to shrug it off and told himself that it was all
part of his imagination, and George returned to his house. Three years later, George had built the
house by the lake that Lennie had wanted, and George had buried Lennie s body in the backyard.
Later, George had decided to go to the bar to get a drink, when he got to the bar he saw Slim and
Carley, and Curley s wife all talking with each other. When the group saw George, he was in awe I
thought that Lennie killed you... he said to Curley s wife, Curley replied excitedly Nope, i m not sure
how but she is alive! George was still confused, then Slim said Stop asking so many questions and
come have a drink George had then began thinking about how the only reason he killed Lennie was
because Lennie went too far to save by killing Curley s wife. After that, George had began
disconnecting himself with the rest of the group because he had become depressed after he had
learned that Lennie wasn t a murderer. Just as George was thinking about how he shouldn t have killed
Lennie, he heard a knock on his door, and he went to see who it was, Curley s wife was at the door
with Slim, and both were looking sad. George had opened the door for them, and said What
happened? Curley s wife looked back at him, and informed him that Curley had been murdered.
George beckoned the two inside is house, and said Come in, do either of you want anything to drink?
Curley s wife shook her head Slim walked her inside. The three sat down at a table in George s house
Tell me what happened George said nervously, Curley s wife replied, I was having an argument with
Curley and he had gotten angry and stormed off, later, when i went looking for him, I found him in the
ranch, with an axe wound in his head. Curley s wife started crying and Slim looked at George, She

Opposing Views of Early Americans, Thomas Morton and John...
There may not be two more contrasting characters of early America then Thomas Morton and John
Winthrop. Morton was nicknamed, Leader of Misrule while Winthrop was seen as the model of [a]
perfect earthly ruler (147). These two figures not only help settle a new land, they also had firsthand
knowledge of each other. They are not two people that lived years apart from each other but rather
they lived concurrently. With two such polarizing people living in a small new land, there was bound
to be at least one disagreement. We are fortunate to have writings from each of these two fascinating
men. One can t help but be thoroughly entertained when reading the words that each man left behind.

Bradford noted that, Morton... [had] more craft then honesty. This suspicion was warranted as Morton
waited until the leaders of his new settlement had left and then convinced the servants to rebel against
them. He assumed the role of leader of this motley crew. Bradford described this group at Merrymount
that, ...fell to great licentiousness, and led a dissolute life, pouring out themselves into all profaneness.
And Morton became lord of misrule, and maintained (as it were) a school of Atheism (127).
Everything that the Puritans stood for, Morton was boldly going against. But the following events that
Morton orchestrated are what really pushed the Puritans over the edge. Firstly, Morton erected a
Maypole for a May Day celebration. This Maypole was in the words of Morton, a lamentable
spectacle to the precise Separatists that lived at New Plymouth. They termed it an idol; yea, they
called it the Calf of Horeb and stood at defiance with the place (141). However, Morton made no
apologies and his group gathered around the pole to drink and sing songs that included lyrics such as,
Drink and be merry, merry, merry boys; /...To cure the heart oppressed with grief, / And of good
liquors is the chief. /Then drink (141). In Morton s writing it is clear that he just wanted to have a
good time.
While the Maypole incident was offensive to the Puritans, Morton s next offense was outright
condemnable. As Bradford described,

Uniforms Should Be Paid In High School
In Springfield, Illinois a 6th grader was bullied by her classmates because her mom bought her too
fancy of clothes. She was told that she should dress more like a kid by wearing apple bottom jeans and
Nikes. One of the difficult aspects of high school besides the hard course load is fitting in. Uniforms
are beneficial and should be required at more schools because they prevent kids from getting bullied,
they are proven to help kids grades, and they help keep kids safe.
Kids all over the world get bullied in school for many reasons, just one of the being what they wear.
With some families having more money than others some kids have a bigger budget for clothing than
others. This leads to those kids with less money sometimes getting bullied because of their clothes.
From the story in the introduction you can see that people with less clothes aren t the only people who
get bullied in fact they are just a small portion of the people. Those who have more money and wear
too nice of clothes can get bullied as well or people who don t have the same fashion sense as what is
popular at the time. Kids have a lot on their plate ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

because they know who their peers are and they wont have to worry about some stranger walking

The relationship between the nobility and the peasants is that one group is at the top, while the other is
at the bottom. The nobility or gentry, were the dukes, marquesses, earls, viscounts and barons, of
which there were about 180 in the early century. These were men who sat in the House of Lords by
hereditary right. They lived in wealth, and earned money off of land ownership, while the lower
classes, or peasants, were the ones who worked. Poverty was widespread in the 18th century,
especially when harvests were poor and food prices rose. The poor would be housed in dormitory
conditions, divided by sex, with 2 or more to each bed. Rules were strict, food minimal and work
difficult. This information in important in understanding the difference between the lifestyles of the
rich and poor in 18th century England. This is a reliable source because the link for this website

because it is used by many students and was created as part of a school s curriculum. This source is

The Discrimination Of Female Applicants
To behave and treat servicewomen with respect and entitlement and those who recruit to display no
discrimination to female applicants. We have to approach the recruitment steps since discrimination
can easily begin here. Secondly, we have to implement a no tolerance policy concerning rape and
discrimination in the United States Military and to hold all those accountable who don t follow the
new regulations. There should be no exceptions to these rules; an illustration to this declaration is
when kin intervention occurs. Those who have a political or financial platform tend to use their
positions to exclude their family members from undergoing certain circumstances. It is hard to escape
the suspicion that Bush got an easy ride through the guard.

What Is The Biggest Industrial Revolution In The Uk
The Biggest Industrial Revolution in the United Kingdom.
The biggest changes of industries happened about 200 years ago. It appeared in the United Kingdom
at first and spread throughout the entire world. At that time, a lot of things changed quickly. Therefore,
it is called the Industrial Revolution. The three biggest changes which were the improvement of the
spinning machine, the growth of the steel manufacturing and the development of the steam engine
were important during the Industrial Revolution in the United Kingdom.
First, the spinning machine was improved rapidly. In the United Kingdom, wool and cotton fabrics
were chief exports. Nevertheless, it took a lot of time to make them because it was handmade and had
to be made by a group of two people. However, in 1773, John Kay invented the flying shuttle which
made possible to do only one operator. About 30 years later, the spinning jenny was invited by
Hargreaves. It could spin about 80 threads per person, and this was the beginning of the technological
innovation. In 1769, Arkwright developed the first water powered spinning machine which used water
power as a source of power (Stearns, 1993). In ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

confronted by Kevin. She tries to run out the kitchen and throws flour all over the place as a
distraction. She succeeded, she got out of the kitchen and hid in a stinky bin, she heard voices outside
the bin, Kevin giving orders to his friends to find her. The smell of the bin made her wretch, but she
could not leave it just yet, someone kicked the bin and she felt the vibrations through her body. She
felt like she was in there for an eternity. Eventually the voices faded and she left the bin but not the

Egyptian Art Vs Byzantine Art
Throughout history, man has used several mediums to record the world they live in, whether it is
through writing or art. These mediums have also served not only as a way to represent the events in
history but also provide as a way to convey certain messages with hopes to teach, influence or
convince the viewers. Three periods in history, the Egyptian, the Roman, and the Byzantine, are
examples of cultures that used art as a mean to relate the earthly world with their religious beliefs.
With their art, the Egyptian aimed to paint the rulers as god kings, the Roman cultures represented
their gods and goddesses with human like actions, and lastly, the Byzantine period presented a
heavenly realm on earth.
Religion had always been a huge part of Egyptian ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
For instance, in the Hagia Sophia Church created by Justinian during his reign, multiple windows
surround the base of the central dome, making the illusion that it is as if it was floating. The windows
appear as a golden chain from Heaven . With this innovative yet smoothly executed iconography in
the architecture of the church, worshipers were presented with a spiritual setting in which they could
bask in. Byzantine art established the churches as the second heaven.
However, the Byzantine not only created the image of heaven in their architectural structures, but also
in their mosaic paintings. The painting of Justinian, Bishop Maximianus, and attendants, is a good
example of how the Byzantine period set the scene against a golden background, a style that has
started in Late Antiquity to show that an event occurs in a heavenly place or a paradise not bound by
time or location. This gives the effect that the emperor is regarded as having the ability to dwell not
only on earth as a ruler but also participate in spiritual rites as favored by

The Teachings Of Phaedrus And Alcibiades
Phaedrus, an aristocrat, takes the stage first at the symposium. He explains that Erōs is one of the
primordial gods, and that the love between a boy and a lover is the greatest love that exists. The lover
is meant to guide the boy, and the two must lead each other to examine themselves and feel ashamed.
...[The boy] is especially ashamed before his lover when he is caught in something shameful (Sym.
178E). Phaedrus later adds that ...Love is...the most powerful in helping men gain virtue and
blessedness... (Sym. 180B). Alcibiades is the perfect example of shame when he speaks about
Socrates. He says that Socrates is the only man in the world who has made [him] feel shame... (Sym.
216B). Alcibiades adds that Socrates traps him and tells ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Alcibiades proves what Pausanias has said about Heavenly Love it s an attachment to the soul and
intelligence of a man, which Alcibiades feels toward Socrates. Eryximachus, a doctor, builds on
Pausanias speech. He says that Heavenly Love and those who feel it ...must be encouraged and
protected (Sym. 187D). Alcibiades encourages his own Heavenly Love for Socrates by praising
Socrates himself. He devotes his entire speech to the philosopher s image. There is not much else to
compare between Eryximachus and Alcibiades because Eryximachus simply adds to what Pausanias
has already stated. Aristophanes is a playwright who s eager to take a different approach to the origins
of erōs. He says that humans were once great beings with four arms, four legs, two faces and two sets
of sexual organs. There were male, female and androgynous beings, which were both male and
female. They became prideful and planned to ascend to the heavens and attack the gods. The gods
couldn t kill the humans because then no one would worship them. Zeus instead opts to cut the human
beings in two and asks Apollo to smooth out their edges. This decision created unforeseen
consequences. ...Each [human] longed for its own other half, and so they would throw themselves
together, wanting to grow together. In that condition they would die from hunger and general idleness,
because they

Mao Zedong Thesis
As a result of the Chinese Civil War, the cultural identity of China was left in the hands of Mao
Zedong. During the 19th century, China had veered away from it s dynastic rule and became
imperialized by countries such as England, Germany, France and Japan. They broke China up
economic gain. As said in a text book written by Ethel Wood, This era left many Chinese resentful of
the foreign devils who they eventually rebelled against (AP CGP) In contrast, when Chairman Mao
came to power, China changed completly. Mao Zedong s belief was heavily motivated by Vladimir
Lenin and Marxism. Rooted in the idea of community and the strength of the peasants, He believed
that he could make China a powerful nation and steer his citizens away from Western

Robert Frost: Modern Multiplicity
Robert Frost is a multiple poet.
Louis Untermeyer
What is customary and, therefore, stereotypical of modern artistic thought is the belief that only one
central meaning can be gathered from any one reading; that these singular interpretations support, give
credence and justify hegemonic forces or grand narratives in society. Defining the term modern in his
work The Postmodern Condition: A Report on Knowledge, Jean Francois Lyotard designate[s] this
name and movement to any science ... legitimat[ing] itself ... [by] making an explicit appeal to some
grand narrative (xxiii). It is thus to the disgust of postmodernists to find Robert Frost s name, poems
and poetry listed with such a narrow minded, self aggrandizing, so called sophisticated group (like
T.S. Eliot, Ezra Pound and Amy Lowell) since Frost was not a poet who believed science and
language nor the source of science and language to be singular, but rather ulterior, double speaking or
multiplicitous. In short, Frost believed duplicity or duplicitous interpretations should be drawn out of
the reader with the help of the author through the medium of poetic form which, to him, paradoxically
eliminates the author s influence on the reader.
A sample of Frost s multiplicity or multiplicitous form can be extracted from the opening line of one
of his last well known poems Directive whose first line begins Back out

How Did The Great Depression Affect Women
During this time period of the Great Depression the U.S went through many social and economic
changes. From 1929 1939 people suffered the effects of the stock market crash, business failures and
bank collapses. People took their money out of banks which made the economy worse and put us
deeper into a depression. There was an increase in unemployment and many families lost their jobs
which caused them to lose their homes and savings. Many husbands abandoned their wives and many
people starved. The streets were filled with garbage and filth. Throughout the depression woman were
largely effected in many ways. Unemployment rate reached 25% during the 1930 s and it became
harder to survive. The stock market crash of 1929 damaged heavy industries like steel, rubber, and
chemicals, which were dominated by male workers, much more than lighter industries like
manufacturing, where most female ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Manufacturing industries also recovered much faster during the Depression than other industries.
Consequently more males lost their jobs than females; hence it was more difficult for men to find
work in factories during the Depression than it was for women. When men started losing their jobs
woman had to go and find jobs in factories or fields and bring home the bread for the family. Men
began to get angry at woman for taking the jobs of men but overlooked the stereotyping of jobs during
that time period. Many women had no choice but to work, providing the sole source of support for
themselves or their families (Ware, 1).This quote explains that some women weren t married and
needed paid employment to survive during the depression. Men didn t realize this and the fact that
jobs women acquired were not jobs men wanted and firing

Bowers Museum Analysis
Davis, E Bowers Museum Review Located in Santa Ana, CA the Bowers Museum can be seen in a
similar light as the art work Levitated Mass by Michael Heizer. I say this because the Bowers is
located in a not so nice part of Santa Ana and can be looked at as a beacon. The Architecture is set in
the style of a mission with Stuccoed Walls, Terra Cotta Roof Tiles, Cement Copying and Curvilinear
Gables. As you enter the bowers Museum you walk up on a long dramatic brick walkway that takes
you under a dramatic Curvilinear Gable delivering you to the entrance as you pass through a lush

Through this exhibit you start to think of the medium Pelt uses and how hard it is as you look at the
pieces for their sheer stunning beauty! The one piece that stood out for me over the rest was the Agate
Rhyton . This piece is carved into a drinking vessel in the shape of an Impala (I think) with its head
slightly raised up with a gold piece as it nose. As you leave the Gemstone Carvings you walk into a
rotunda that has Pacific Islander carved bouts and large carved log drums. From here you enter the
exhibit Ancient Arts of China. This exhibit allows you to look at a history of Chinese Art dating as far
back as 5000 years. starting with painted large ceramic pots from the Neolithic period. This exhibit
will take you on a journey with items on display like sculpture of horse made during the Han Dynasty,
to silk robes, ivory carvings and special items made for the afterlife. A stark contrast to the Ancient
Arts of China exhibit, you walk into my favorite exhibit which is the Spirits and Headhunters: Art of

10 Amazing Facts About Super Horse Secretariat
Often referred to as the greatest racehorse that ever lived, in 1973, Secretariat broke track records in
all three legs of the Triple Crown that remain unbroken 45 years later. Since 1919, in the past 99 years,
there have only been twelve horses to win the Triple Crown, including three after Secretariat, but his
records still stand. In June 1973, Secretariat, a huge chestnut colored thoroughbred, graced the cover
of Time, Newsweek and Sports Illustrated all at the same time, something that had not happened
before and has not happened again since. (1)

Crown, has been called the greatest horse ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Gentle Giant: Secretariat was a stunning red thoroughbred standing 5 6 at the shoulder, weighing
1,199 lbs with a miraculous stride of 24 feet 11 that created an angle of 110 degrees between his fully
extended legs and his body. Those who knew him described as intelligent and kind. (1)
4. Backseat Passenger: Ron Turcotte was Secretariat s jockey in all 3 Triple Crown races and agreed
with others had said that Secretariat knew his purpose was and had his own ideas about running a race.
Turcotte was criticized by people in the stands at one early point in the Belmont, who said he seemed
to be guiding Secretariat to an unsafe move, but after winning the Belmont, Turcotte said that he was
just a backseat passenger , and that Secretariat made his own choices. (5)
3. Tragedy Strikes: Ron Turcotte was a very successful Canadian jockey who won a total of 3,032
races before tragedy in 1978 when a fall from a horse resulted in his becoming paraplegic. (6)
2. Final Race: Secretariat won the last race of his career in October 1973 defeating Canada s Horse of
the Year, by over 6 lengths. He was then retired as a three year old stud that sired 600 foals, none of
which ever achieved their father s potential.

Symbolism In Ethan Frome
The electronic beat of the Samsung ringtone crashed through dark silence, and the Snooze button

wrong when he wrote about times that try men s souls during the Revolution. I want to introduce him
to the real test of willpower waking up for school in the notorious Northeast winters. One such
morning, I groggily opted for comfort over style and wore my rattiest pair of sweatpants, and beautiful
heels. The school day passed by in a warm haze of chatter, laughter and a discussion of rather crude
symbolism in Ethan Frome. The events after school

The Stamp Act Analysis
Hello, Your Majesty. We think highly of you and never would want to question your rules and laws,
but just to add suggestions and a different point of view from the receiver.
We, my family and friends, have written to you today to show our concerns and point of view of the
new laws and acts and to hopefully give you a broader outlook of this struggling situation.
The first act would be the Quartering Act. This act is where we, as the colonists, have to provide food,
shelter, and bed for your soldiers and if the British soldiers do not have enough houses they have to
stay in barns, buildings, and inns, which leads to the fact that almost every home is filled with
soldiers. Sometimes we can feel a little over powered and we feel that they should ... Show more

the laws were that the Boston Port was closed until we paid for all of the tea, the governor could ban
town meetings, and the quartering act. We realize that we have done wrong, but we are concerned
because there are people out there who want to fight and want no peace, so that we can have
independence, and if you keep passing laws such as these we don t think it will end very well. These

The Rock And Roll Band
Formed in the sixties, The Rolling Stones consisted of Brian Jones, Ian Stewart, Mick Jagger, Keith
Richards, Bill Wyman, and Charlie Watts. Referring to themselves as the World s Greatest Rock and
Roll band, the song Rollin Stones written by Muddy Waters is what stemmed into the band s name.
The Stones recorded and sold what is estimated to be more than a quarter million albums until the
early 1980s when Jagger and Richard had a fight over musical direction and the group grew apart
from each other and did not record any music for years. Soon after The Rolling Stones were accepted
into the Rock and Roll hall of fame in 1989, the band got back together and begin making more music.
In 1994 the Rolling Stones won their first Grammy with the song Voodoo Lounge . After this success,
the Stones embarked on a major tour raising a gross income of almost three million dollars.
Throughout the 2000s, the band released albums and performed on tours pleasing the music world still
to this day with the oldest member, Charlie Watts being 75 years old.
In 1968 Sympathy for the Devil was written appearing on the Stones Begger s Banquet album and The
Stones top ten most popular songs. Jagger s inspiration to write this song came from a book called The
Master and Margarita written by a Russian author talking about evil in the USSR. The concept of this
song is based the more wicked side of man and contrast between good and evil, than straightforward

Causes Of Juvenile Delinquency
A juvenile delinquent is a juvenile who has broken the law. A juvenile refers to a person who is under
18 years old, at times the line is set at 21 years old for alcohol and tobacco. Juvenile delinquency is an
important field in sociology because it focuses on the crimes juveniles have committed and why they
did them. It looks at how the criminal justice system treats juveniles and helps to separate them from
adults. It describes the leading causes of how juveniles become delinquents due to the family,
environment, media, and peers.
Juvenile delinquency has always existed as children become teenagers it becomes a crucial period due
to their body and minds developing. Each generation went through the adolescence period with
different cohort events shaping their life s. For example, Fuller explains how the Greatest Generation
grew up during the great depression and World War II lived a different life than the Baby Boom
generation who experienced the civil rights movement, war in Vietnam, and the assassination of
Martin Luther King Jr. (2016). The one thing these adolescents shared with each other generation to
generation is as their minds develop many were described as rebellious. Due to the increase in juvenile
delinquency there became a strong need for a criminal justice system unique to adolescents.
Before there was a juvenile justice system adolescents were treated and tried as adults later the
punishments became more lenient and the parents did most of the punishing

  • 4. My First Love Essay Everyone loves to tell the story of their first love, and the beautiful lesson they learned through the adventure. You hear the phrase, you ll never forget your first as you see a small smirk flourish across the faces of people who remember their story. Through all the experiences shared, I never would have believed the result of falling out of love. All of the novels and sweet smiles never hinted about the time I would end up crumbled down on my bedroom s floor, with two years of a person s presence surrounding a broken heart. Nobody will speak of watching your first love leave for college, knowing that they will want to move on. I went through the stages of heartbreak that left me with a cracked and bruised heart. The recovery and journey of finding acceptance and love for myself, created a book of my personal lessons. Going back to that summer is like reading the final book of your favorite series, you soak in the words trying to read slow, savoring. Completing the series leaves a bitter sweet moment, comparing to the emotions that overcame my mind through the process of watching him go. However, it was not beautiful and bittersweet as romance novels paint your first love out to be. Each page in our novel transformed from love to a war zone, as loyalty became nonexistent, and trust only present in waves. The summer was beautiful, but in my heart I knew that this novel was only a fairy tale coming to it s end. There was nothing left to be painted. That hot and humid ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... 2.3 Criteria for searching the literature Exclusion criteria were set up to determine the most relevant articles be included to inform for the research question (Aveyard 2010). Studies that included children with medical or educational diagnoses that may confound the results were excluded from the search (e.g. developmental coordination disorder, autism, severe developmental delay, etc.). As this study aims to explore and compare the components of handwriting interventions that are effective; studies that did not describe an intervention strategy to improve handwriting were excluded from the review. 2.4 Critical Appraisal In order to assess the validity and usefulness of the papers, a systematic approach is used to critically appraise the research (Young and Soloman, 2009). All papers in this review have been critically appraised using the critical appraisal protocol CASP (Public Health Resource Unit (PHRU) 2007) which is a recognised tool (Aveyard 2010). These can be found in the appendix (appendices 1 5). 2.5 Searching the papers A total of 152 papers were found through database searching. A further 5 papers were found through reference lists of relevant papers. 141 papers remained when duplicates were removed. Too often politicians have use this Ministry to win over voters in the large urban centres by making policies that are considered green and trendy. One just needs to look at why the spring bear hunt was canceled in the nineties. We are tired of having our fishing limits lowered and hunting seasons shortened year after year because of declining wildlife populations. We are tired of hearing the MNRF false promises that they will fix the problem, only to hear them blame it on global warming a year later. Trevor Holliday the Northern Ontario Party leader, states that we have been hearing the same stories from the Ministry for years, we have less people fishing and hunting than ever before, but our moose population continues to decline, and the fishing limits continue to drop, it doesn t make sense. Epilogue Of George Steinbeck s Of Mice And Men Of Mice and Men Epilogue Two hours after George killed Lennie, George was at the bar with Curley and Slim to get a drink, and the three began talking about Lennie, making George start to think if he had done the right thing by shooting Lennie in the head. After the three left the bar, George walked out onto the street and saw Curley s wife walking down the street. George decided to shrug it off and told himself that it was all part of his imagination, and George returned to his house. Three years later, George had built the house by the lake that Lennie had wanted, and George had buried Lennie s body in the backyard. Later, George had decided to go to the bar to get a drink, when he got to the bar he saw Slim and Carley, and Curley s wife all talking with each other. When the group saw George, he was in awe I thought that Lennie killed you... he said to Curley s wife, Curley replied excitedly Nope, i m not sure how but she is alive! George was still confused, then Slim said Stop asking so many questions and come have a drink George had then began thinking about how the only reason he killed Lennie was because Lennie went too far to save by killing Curley s wife. After that, George had began disconnecting himself with the rest of the group because he had become depressed after he had learned that Lennie wasn t a murderer. Just as George was thinking about how he shouldn t have killed Lennie, he heard a knock on his door, and he went to see who it was, Curley s wife was at the door with Slim, and both were looking sad. George had opened the door for them, and said What happened? Curley s wife looked back at him, and informed him that Curley had been murdered. George beckoned the two inside is house, and said Come in, do either of you want anything to drink? Curley s wife shook her head Slim walked her inside. The three sat down at a table in George s house Tell me what happened George said nervously, Curley s wife replied, I was having an argument with Curley and he had gotten angry and stormed off, later, when i went looking for him, I found him in the ranch, with an axe wound in his head. And Morton became lord of misrule, and maintained (as it were) a school of Atheism (127). Everything that the Puritans stood for, Morton was boldly going against. But the following events that Morton orchestrated are what really pushed the Puritans over the edge. Firstly, Morton erected a Maypole for a May Day celebration. This Maypole was in the words of Morton, a lamentable spectacle to the precise Separatists that lived at New Plymouth. They termed it an idol; yea, they called it the Calf of Horeb and stood at defiance with the place (141). However, Morton made no apologies and his group gathered around the pole to drink and sing songs that included lyrics such as, Drink and be merry, merry, merry boys; /...To cure the heart oppressed with grief, / And of good liquors is the chief. /Then drink (141). In Morton s writing it is clear that he just wanted to have a good time. While the Maypole incident was offensive to the Puritans, Morton s next offense was outright condemnable.
