towards other clients and judges. I understand that people get emotional when things like divorce and
custody arises and things can get out of hand, but in this case, I feel he went a little overboard only
thinking about himself and not considering the consequences this all had on his ex wife and minor
child. He was definitely unprofessional and even one of the judges said if someone asks me what
vexatious litigation looks like, the former husband s various filings in this divorce case, especially his
antics in these post judgment proceedings, are an excellent example (Judge Farmer, 1997). Judges and
lawyers have a higher standard to go by, if this type of action is not tolerated when representing a
client, then it definitely should not be tolerated by a lawyer in his own case.

Mason Witt Media and Film December 5, 2016 For my essay, I chose to compare Fight Club, by
Chuck Palahniuk, published in 1996, with its movie counterpart of the same name, directed by David
Fincher in 1999, starring Brad Pitt and Edward Norton. Overall, the movie was remarkably faithful to
the novel, despite a few scenes being changed, likely to save an overly long runtime. Keeping that in
mind, much of both the book and the movie was open to interpretation by the reader, which makes

Reflection
Bullying on campus has long been an issue that students, parents, and school officials have had to deal
with; my campus is no different. The article focused on freshman being the most at risk of bullying
since they are smaller and weaker . Some may see it as boys being boys, or kids being kids, but it is
still bullying. I have taught freshman the last five years and I have seen the bullying come in two
forms, physical and verbal.
If girls bully, they will generally bully verbally. They will name call or spread rumors to make another
students existence at school miserable. I have had several students be on the receiving end of the
bullying and it has clearly affected them. The girls who have been bullied show all the effects the
article conveyed. School attendance dropped for some, and for others, grades began to lower as well.
For boys, they will bully physically, as well as verbally. I have observed boys push, punch, and slam
each other to prove who is in charge . The victims seem to be in a different place mentally. The boys
will change the way they act, which way they walk to class, and where they sit at lunch.
One thing I didn t think about until I read the article was how it affected others who witnessed the
bullying. I didn t know that it could affect their attendance or academic achievement. It makes it all

In William Carlos Williams s poem, The Dance , Williams uses the inspiration of a painting by Peter
Breughel to shape his poem. Peter Breughel s painting called The Kermess depicts a peasant dance of
the mid fifteenth century. It shows the form and rhythm of the dance. Williams also captures the form
and the rhythm of this dance in his poem. In William Carlos Williams poem, The Dance the open
form, suggested images, and rhythm embodies the dance depicted in the painting The Kermess by
Peter Breughel.

Throughout the poem word choice such as kicking , rolling , swinging , and rollicking (Kennedy 235)
and visual referencing keeps the reader bouncing along all the way to the end of the poem.
In the middle of the poem Williams uses a device called enjambment to create a pause in the rhythm
of the poem. Critics say that Williams is trying to not only give the feel of the dance but also
accurately describe how the dance was performed. In The Peasant Dance there was a pause, or a stop,
in the middle of the dance. Williams tries to show this part of the dance by using an enjambment to
give the poem a pause just like the dance was actually performed (Viveinne 82). The use of the
enjambment not only gives the poem the physical form of the dance but also the rhythmical pause
mirrors the performance of the dance.
Breughel paints The Kermess with round figures and robust people. Williams accordingly uses words
such as bellies and phrases like those shanks must be sound to bear up under such rollicking measures
(Kennedy 235) to convey these points. Using such words contribute to the round, open form of his

Johnny Moral Character Analysis
The prologue introduces the two main characters. In 1953, a young boy named John Smith is knocked
unconscious while ice skating; while recovering he mumbles a strange message Don t jump it no more
to an adult on the scene. The knot on Johnny s head fades after a few days, and he thinks no more of
it. A few months later, the adult is seriously injured while jump starting a car battery. Two years later,
in an unconnected incident in Iowa, a young door to door Bible salesman named Greg Stillson,
suffering emotional issues and dreaming of greatness, vindictively kicks an aggressive dog to death.

During the 1800s, the concept of national character was a subject of development and discussion,
especially in France. Many philosophers had an agreement in general that each nation was/had unique
characteristics, but there are many opinions as to what makes a national character. There was a lot of
focus on the spiritual and physical characteristics and their role in shaping the national traits. These
philosophers had a different perspective on the relationship between the national character and the

Religion was a strong value for the early Greek society. The Greeks looked up to the Gods and

them then they would be struck down. Often, Greeks would ask for favors from their Gods. This
means that the relationship between the Greeks and their Deities would be one of give and take. We

claims that if Apollo has ever been pleased by Chryse s acts of worship then the God should strike

Gods. In Greek society, only the Gods possess the gift of immortality while the mortals believed their
souls were doomed to the underworld. However, there were ways that a mortal could achieve other
