Couple Therapy
Gender differences in couples work
Couple therapy often refers to the common negative process, of pursuer and withdrawer, in order to
understand the relational dance. This is the process where one partner purses the other through
emotional demands, criticism, and complaints, while the other retreats through withdrawal,
defensiveness, and passive interaction (Christensen, Heavey,1990). Many theorists have identified a
gender linkage with this pattern, suggesting women present as the demanding, pursuer, while men
assume the role of the distant, withdrawer (Christensen, Heavey,1990; Mornells, 1979). There is a
belief among some theorists that this pattern results from different personality characteristics of men
and women, and therefore impacted ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Same sex couples report having less family support than heterosexual couples, this doesn t appear to
be completely to do with estrangement from family of origin, rather many couples contend with
family relationships that are difficult and stressful (Rostosky et al., 2004). Rarely do same sex couples
enjoy immediate, consistent, and pervasive emotional support and acceptance upon disclosure of their
relationship to their families of origin (Rostosky et al., 2004). Many theorists believe the coming out
stage is necessary in the development of a healthy identity. The coming out stage often is a time of
great stress as individuals anticipate the reactions of their family of origin. Rostosky s (2004) research
indicates that same sex couples perceived support from family of origin no matter how tenuous has a
powerful impact on same sex couple, even after the initial

Analysis Of The Book Missoula By John Krakauer
[7] In his book, Missoula, John Krakauer analyses the issue of rape in the college town of Missoula.
Krakauer begins his work by quoting the article False Allegations of Sexual Assault:
Rape is unique. No other violent crime is so fraught with controversy, so enmeshed in dispute and in
the politics of gender and sexuality... And within the domain of rape, the most highly charged area of
debate concerns the issue of false allegations. For centuries, it has been asserted and assumed that
women cry rape, that a large proportion of rape allegations are maliciously concocted for purposes of
revenge or other motives.
Krakauer uses this quote because in every situation he writes about, there is a common element of
false allegations being made. In his writing he shares several occurrences with the reader, and while
each are similar, there are also notable differences between them. This is because, as stated in the
article quoted Rape is unique, not only is rape different from other crimes by nature, but each case is
surrounded by its own unique circumstances. In each situation that is discussed in the book, Krakauer
gives many details of rape, and he explains to readers what the characters went through.
The book centers around an incident involving Allison Huguet and Beau Donaldson. One night,
Allison was hanging out with a group of childhood friends when she was invited to a party at Beau
Donaldson s house. When the party was winding down, the friends decided to stay

Friar Lawrence To Blame Quotes
Friar Lawrence s role in Romeo and Juliet Who is to blame for the deaths in the end of the play
Romeo and Juliet? Friar Lawrence is a main character who definitely affects the storyline. Some
people might believe that Romeo and Juliet are to blame, but I believe, ultimately, Friar Lawrence is
to blame. Romeo could be to blame because he stupidly fell in love and made Friar Lawrence marry
him and Juliet. Romeo s careless actions brought devastation to the Capulet and Montague s families.
He had many near death experiences, but people other than him died. Friar Lawrence is suspicious
because of his role in the book, how he carried the blame, and how different the story would be
without him. Friar Lawrence s role in the play makes him suspicious ... Show more content on

Juliet wanted to get out of an arranged marriage with Paris so badly, she wanted to kill herself. She
was also distraught because Romeo was banned from Verona, and she can t see him. Friar Lawrence
helped her plan to fake her death, he gave her a potion to make her fall asleep for forty two hours.
Take thou this vial, being then in bed, When presently through all thy vein shall run a cold and drowsy
humor; for no pulse shall keep his native progress, but surcease; no warmth, no breath, shall testify
thou livest... (Shakespeare 818). This quote helps show that Friar was helping Juliet. He gives her a
vial of potion that she will take to hibernate. Because of this, Romeo believes Juliet is truly dead and
he kills himself, wanting to be with her. During this time of chaos, Friar Lawrence was supposed to go
down to the cellar and get Juliet so she didn t suffocate, but he didn t help Juliet. He let her kill herself,
which is exactly what happened. Yea, noise? Then I ll be brief. O happy dagger! This is thy sheath;
there rust, and let me die (Shakespeare 842). This quote shows that Friar Lawrence was there and he
just wanted them out of there because he heard a noise; he only cares about himself and his safety. He
didn t even bother to save Juliet when she was going crazy and stabbed herself. He left her alone and
attempted to get out of the tomb. He

The Dynamic Continuum For Diversity And Multiculturalism

pluralism of our various society. To this end, free school instructors must work to make learning

The Biosocial Explanation Of Gender Development
The biosocial explanation of gender assumes that gender development focuses on the interaction
between biological and social factors. The approach emphasises that both factors are equally important
in determining gender. How we react to babies tend to be based on the child s sex identity. Often our
sexual stereotypes do influence how we respond and expect behaviour to occur.
Money and Ehrhardt (1972) believed that how an individual is sexually labelled determines how they
are raised up, which goes to determine the child s gender identity, gender role identity etc. For
example, if a boy was given a female toy, he would automatically go a Here they theorised in a book
which said that social labelling and differential treatment pf boys and girls interact with biological
factors to influence development. M E predicted that if a genetic male is labelled as a girl and treated
as a girl before the age of three, he would acquire the gender identity of a girl.
They said that psychologically, sexuality is undifferentiated at birth but becomes differentiated as
masculine or feminine in the course of various experiences growing up.
Condry and Condry (1976) conducted an experiment which done in a lab setting. It consisted of 200+
adults (male and female). They were shown a video of a baby. With one group the baby is introduce to
them as a boy named David. The second group the baby is introduced to them as a girl names Dana.

Daffodils By Wordsworth
INTRODUCTION:
The poem was written in the year 1802. It was first published in Poems in Two Volumes, in 1807. The
very starting line of the poem I wandered lonely as a cloud informs the poet s profound sentiments of
being left alone. It was actually the death of his brother John that led him to loneliness . We should
remind the readers that this poem was not a result of imagination. Dorothy, Wordsworth s sister
provides us an explanation of the occasion which inspired Wordsworth to produce this masterpiece:
When we were in the woods beyond Gowbarrow Park, we saw a few daffodils close to waterside.
Thus the poem is a result of actual visualization rather than imagery .
In English literature, Wordsworth and his friend, Samuel Taylor ... Show more content on

This presents an idea of seclusion. The idea of being alone is contradicted by the phrase crowd (line
3). This is actually the setting of the poem . As human form Wordsworth prefers seclusion but the
crowd of daffodils bewilders his senses. The feeling of ecstasy suddenly makes a dive.
This poem, obviously inspired by Wordsworth s stomping grounds, is well loved because of its simple
yet beautiful rhythms and rhymes, and its rather sentimental topic. The poem consists of four six line
stanzas, each of which follow an ababcc rhyme scheme and are written in iambic tetrameter, giving
the poem a subtle back and forth motion that recalls swaying daffodils.
By comparing himself to a cloud in the first line of the poem, the speaker signifies his close
identification with the nature that surrounds him. He also demonstrates this connection by
personifying the daffodils several times, even calling them a crowd as if they are a group of

Drosophila Melanogaster Lab Report Essay
Introduction
In most kitchens the small flies that are found are Drosophila Melanogaster also called fruit fly. They
are often brought in by ripened tomatoes, grapes and other perishable items from the garden.
Drosophila melanogaster is a little two winged insect about 3mm long two winged insect that belongs
to the Diptera, the order of the flies. The drosophila egg is about half a millimeter long. Fertilization
takes about one day the embryo to develop and hatch into a worm like larva. The larva eats and grows
continuously, after two days as a third in star larva; it moults one more time to form an immobile
pupa. Over the next four days, the body is completely remodeled to give the adult winged form, which
then hatches from the pupal ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Some larva containing vials had hatched into flies. Counting of the flies began at this point. As flies
started to grow, at different rates for each vial, with in the first seven days after all larva had hatched
the flies were counted. The procedure was done according to theDrosophila manual (45 2620)
Results
F1 Predictions
For our first generation (F1) of flies we chose to cross apterous (+) females and white eye (w) males.
We predicted that the mutation would be sex linked recessive. So if the female was the sex with the
mutation then all females would be wild type heterozygous. Heterozygous is a term used when the two
genes for a trait are opposite. The males would all be white eye since they only have one X
chromosome. If the males were the sex that had the mutation then all the flies would be wild type but
the females would be heterozygous.
F1 Outcomes
From the cross white eye males with wild females, our results were we got both phenotypes in the
males as well as the females to be wild type.
F2 Predictions
Based upon observation of the F1 generation, we hypothesize that the inheritance of the white eye (W)
mutation is sex linked and recessive wild type.
For the F2 generation the phenotype that was obtained is as followed. See Figure1.

Analysis of Jack Johnson s Cookie Jar Jack Johnson s song, Cookie Jar is a powerful influence to

The repetition of turn it around makes the listeners think about what should they do and what can they
do to try to stop things like children playing with guns, because the repetition makes the listeners hear
it more then once and therefore the will absorb it more and remember it , so they can turn it around.
Jack Johnson is writing about how children are influenced by what they see on TV. In this song the
boy watches violent shows that have people shooting each other with guns, the child now sees guns as
something you are able to use on people and kills another child. Sure I pulled the trigger but it needed
to be done, Cause life s been killing me ever since it begun this means that even the boy is blaming his
misdeeds on life, this challenges the beliefs of society because the boy is saying life is bad now, and
there isn t much good in life. TV has a large influence upon children and there shouldn t be shows
with guns and violence on at a time when children might be watching TV. The second stanza also
makes listeners argue whether or not parents are doing their job by actually being a parent and looking
out for their children, this can

What do you think about when you hear The Great Depression? Some might say the worst economic
time in the United States of America. The Great Depression was one of the longest and innermost
economic downturn in the world of history between the years of 1929 and 1939. Also, The Great
Depression led to the Federal Government having a more involved role in America s economy, this
was done through the creation of Franklin D. Roosevelt s New Deal Legislation, which turned out to
be effective because, he helped the American people find more jobs, he created social security, and

have. Investors had to pay ten percent of the total value of stocks at the time of buying. The rest they
could pay in installments. The stock market could not be stabilized. There were huge amount of
money being borrowed out of the stock market. There were huge number of new banks that were
cropping up every single day. They didn t have any rules telling them the amount of reserves that was
allowed to be loaned out. They also didn t have any regulations to determine the minimum capital
required to start up a bank. The banks were closing faster than they were opening. The situations
became worse when the stock market crashed in 1929. It loss around fourteen billion dollars of
wealth. After the crash, the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) was set up. The purpose of
the SEC was to protect investors from dangerous or illegal financial practices or fraud, by requiring
full and accurate financial disclosure by companies offering stocks, bonds, mutual funds, and other

This quote proves my thesis statement because Capulet wanted to force Juliet to marry Paris. Someone
she did not want to marry because she was already married to Romeo! Clearly, the Capulet s and the
Montagues are the leading suspects in the deaths of Romeo and Juliet because Lord Capulet tried to
force Juliet into a marriage and because the two families were mortal enemies Romeo and Juliet could
not see each other when they wished to. In addition to the Capulets and Montagues being at fault for
the fatality of Romeo and Juliet is Friar Laurence, because he gave Juliet a sleeping potion which,
when taken, made her appear dead, which enraged Romeo when he found out that she was dead . After
Romeo s banishment to Mantua, Juliet goes off the deep end, back talking to her parents and being
overall, very disobedient. Juliet s rudeness got so out of hand, her father beat her and her mother
basically disowned her. After that incident Juliet talks to her nurse, who basically says to go to
confession to clean your soul, and tell your father that you will go through with the marriage. Juliet
goes to meet Friar Laurence but instead of confessing she starts talking suicidal thoughts, she then
points a gun to her head, and as she is about to pull the trigger Friar Laurence

Why 1984 Should Be Banned
As with any form of someone s artistic creation there are bound to be good and bad opinions or
criticisms. So when someone writes a book they know it will not please everyone. However, do any
authors ever think, Not only can my book be ill received, but it might even get banned. Now what
does it mean for a book to be banned? Well it means that reading said book is not allowed either by
school, state or even country. To enforce the banning libraries and bookstores will not have the books
available for people to check out. For a book to be banned it must first be challenged, but not all
challenged books get banned. For example, the book 1984 was banned in the Soviet Union for being

done this before. Julia replies with, Of course.

ABSTRACT
The system memories requirement depends greatly on the nature of the applications which run on the
system. Memory performance and capacity requirements are small for simple, low cost systems. In
contrast, memory throughput can be the most critical requirement in complex, high performance
systems. The following general types of memories can be used in systems such as Volatile and non
volatile memories. SRAM can be found in the cache memory of a computer or as a part of the RAM
digital to analog converters on video cards. Static RAM is also used for high speed registers, caches
and small memory banks like a frame buffer on a display adapter. Several scientific and industrial
subsystems, modern appliances, automotive electronics, electronic toys, mobile phones, synthesizers
and digital cameras also use SRAM. It is also highly recommended for use in PCs, peripheral

The Hunger Games Movie And Book Comparison Essay
The Hunger Games: Fight to the Finish In the adaptation of the film The Hunger Games and the book
of The Hunger Games they portray very different characteristics. The filmmakers deviated the Hunger
Games scenes in a more dramatic way than before. Representing District 13, Katniss Everdeen and
Peeta Mellark were forced to go and compete in the 74th Hunger Games and fight for their lives. But
as these scenes progressed they both get very captivating and very dramatic in both the book and the
film. This film has made huge fluctuations to the fighting scene than they did in the book. In The
Hunger Games fighting scene the capital did not give as much help nor did they have all of the

The film is a very big adaptation from the book. The actual 74th Hunger Games scene is in the book
and the film. The 74th Hunger Games scene is where Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark go fight for
their lives against people from the other twelve districts. Although these scenes are in the both the
book and film they are different in many ways. They had never seen, or had contact, with any of the
other tributes that they were fighting against before this event. The scene leading up the Hunger
Games scene is when they go to the Capitol and start their training to fight for their lives. While
Katniss and Peeta are at the Capitol they are to go out and show off who they are at the tribute parade.
Before Peeta and Katniss go out into the tribute parade, Peeta suggests that they should hold hands
and takes Katniss hand first, but in the book it is Cinna that suggests them to. He does this to show all
of the contributors that they get along and support each other in every way. As they are riding out to
the tribute parade in the film, all of the tributes horses are black along with their chariot. But in the
book, the horses are all different within their color and

The United States The Home Appliance Industry
In the United States the home appliance industry is a mature market with high penetration, therefore,
replacement product is significantly important to the industry. The United States has three major
manufacturers for domestic production: Whirlpool, General Electric, and Electrolux. The appliance
industry is changing rapidly and becoming more competitive with the influence of Asian competitors,
specifically, LG Electronics and Samsung Electronics, who are major appliance importers.
Subsequently, in January 2016, a Chinese manufacturer, Haier, bid for the purchase of General
Electric Appliances, finalizing the contract on June 6, 2016 (Thompson, 2016).
Whirlpool Corporation is the largest global manufacturer of home appliances (Innovation at the Pace
of Life, 2016). Although, Whirlpool is globally the largest manufacturer, they do not dominate all
markets as they do in North America. In North America, Whirlpool s strength lies in a strong and vast
brand portfolio, consisting of seven brands (Fettig, 2016). In 2006, the United States Department of
Justice approved the acquisition of Maytag Corporation by Whirlpool (Henriques, 2006). The
acquisition served a two fold purpose, seating Whirlpool in the number one market share position in
North America and adding strong brands such as Maytag, Jenn Air, and Amana to the portfolio. A
series of acquisitions is accelerating growth for Whirlpool and ensuring global market leadership.

Analysis Of River Out Of Eden And The Art Of War
It is difficult to argue whether strategy is an art form or science because it can actually be both. Sun
Tzu s text, The Art of War is an example of an ancient humanism text about strategies of war.
Humanism by definition is, an outlook or system of thought attaching prime importance to human
rather than divine or supernatural matters. Humanist beliefs stress the potential value and goodness of
human beings, emphasize common human needs, and seek solely rational ways of solving human
problems (Dictionary.com). Therefore, humanism is much like philosophy which is related to science
yet influenced by the skill of art. Thomas Cleary starts off the text with a quote from The Book of
Balance and Harmony which states, To know after seeing is not worthy of being called knowing (qtd.
in Cleary, xv xvi), but since Sun Tzu s teachings are philosophical the text renders itself as war
knowledge. In River Out of Eden: A Darwinian View of Life , author and biologist Richard Dawkins
would greatly disagree with Cleary s quote because Dawkins believes that, Scientific beliefs are
supported by evidence, and they get results (Dawkins 33). According to Dawkins, Darwinism has the
power to explain natural occurrences in the universe and his mission is to disprove supernatural views
of creation and the world with observable scientific knowledge. Although, military strategies are
intuitive there are also observable scientific aspects to the art of war which follow the scientific
method.

Houston Bully Case Study
The Houston Rockets are 21 7 and in third place in the Western Conference. Their all world superstar,
James Harden, is among the NBA s leaders in points (27.7), while he also leads the Association in
assists (11.8). There are many factors that have contributed to Houston s success this season, but the
team s progress can ultimately be traced back to the moves made by Rockets general manager Daryl
Morey in the offseason. After infighting and chemistry issues plagued the Rockets during the past few
seasons, they decided not to re sign Dwight Howard after three seasons in Houston. The move has
paid major dividends, as Howard fancied himself as somewhat of a post savant who required touches,
space and his teammates to treat him like the superstar he thought himself to be. Consequently, the
Rockets offense became a your turn my turn dance between Harden and Howard, which not only
frustrated their teammates and members of the organization, but fans as well. As a member of the
Orlando Magic from 2004 2012, Howard made a name for himself as a menacing defender with
ungodly athleticism and a force in pick and rolls. Former Magic point guard Jameer Nelson had career

Harden never had full autonomy in the past, but that has changed this season. This season, his
numbers are some of the best he has produced in his career. Aside leading the league in assists, he s

are often left flat footed. Thus, Harden can create space to shoot step back jump shots, blow by

The Av Is An Accident Caused By An Av
There are a number of parties that could inherently be liable for an accident caused by an AV, the
potential parties include; the user, the owner of the AV, the manufacturer of the AV, the manufacturer
of the AV components or AV technology, the AV code programmer, a government entity responsible
for the intelligent highway or perhaps even the AV itself by allowing AVs to be considered as legal
persons. There have also been arguments that the federal government should create legislation
preempting state tort remedies for AVs. Yet, due to the advanced equipment inside AVs, it will be
difficult to differentiate technological malfunctions from AV technology with those of driver
negligence at the outset of mass AV use. In the foreseeable future when there will likely be no human
driver this will not be an issue. Instead, the difficult part will be determining which manufacturer out
of the many involved in the creation of the AV is at fault. Present day procedures for identifying who
is at fault may not be satisfactory when the accident involves an AV. However, there is a potential
solution to identifying which vehicle or driver is at fault for an accident in the form of black boxes (
Flight Data Recorders ), similar to the ones used on airplanes. Black boxes would monitor driver
activity and record data leading up to accidents. This would create a privacy concern, but the
collection of relevant information would tell investigators the story of the cars operations and

Blue Collar vs. White Collar Work
Throughout history the lives of the people in the working class have not always been easy. People
always work hard to earn money and support their families; however, people don t always work in a
suitable working area. The term Blue Collar is jobs that require manual labor from people. The
problem with these kinds of jobs is that the places the people work in can be extremely unsanitary and
may cause a bad working environment for the people in it. Blue collar work is also the work most
people do not want to do but it is needed for the people who do white collar jobs to prosper. Also blue
collar workers are known as people who did not do well in school or people that aren t smart. Well
that is not the case with these workers because ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The treatment of workers is a growing issue and it s going to keep on growing and growing if people
don t realize what these big companies are doing and put a stop to it. For example the shoe company
Nike employs many people but the thing people don t know is that there are 12,000 young women in
Indonesia making the lowest amount of money and working long tiring shifts. Every $80 sneaker Nike
makes it only costs them 12 cents for the labor. This shows the unfair treatment of these workers and
how the company is taking advantage of them and it is not only Nike doing this but any major
company uses the same force of labor. In Who Makes the Clothes We Wear? it says Government
officials raided a sweatshop filled with immigrant Thai women laboring as little as 59 cents per hour.
Also not only were they being taken advantage of the discipline was enforced by threats of rape and
beatings.(26) This goes to show the little care they have for these workers and the actions that are
being taken against them. It also shows a dark side to these companies in which the workers are being
treated worst than dogs.

For Whom The Bell Tolls Rhetorical Analysis
Times of war have a way of stripping people of their empathy. In For Whom the Bell Tolls, Ernest
Hemingway discusses the topic of ethical decay and its effect on people during the Spanish Civil War.
Ultimately, he produces a message that brings awareness to the inhumanity that humans perpetrate in
response to a conflict of interests. He examines this topic through the characterization of Maria,
Lieutenant Berrendo, and Robert Jordan. Maria is an important character who has lost her innocence
against her will. In one of her first major interactions with Robert, Maria goes dead in his arms,
[saying] But things were done to me... by various [people] ... and her voice [went] dead and flat
(Hemingway 71). Here, Maria implies to the reader ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
In the battle against the communists, Berrendo s captain begins slandering his faith in an angry tirade,
and Berrendo, who has lost a good friend, recognizes that his friend is dead on the slope on such a day
as this. And this foul mouth stands there bringing more ill fortune with his blasphemies (Hemingway
318). The captain s behavior is seen by his troops as a sin which they regularly confessed
(Hemingway 318). Here, Berrendo bears firsthand witness to the moral decay that is the result of the
civil war, as his captain slanders an invisible enemy in a way that is sinful. Just as the Guardia was
driven by hatred to tear apart Maria s village, the captain is driven to slander the Virgen because of his
hatred for his Communist enemies. In turn, his moral compass decays and he begins down the same
path of inhumane activity as the Guardia. The only difference in this scene is that Berrendo is
cognizant at least of the captain s immediate ethical decay, even if he does not see the long reaching
effects of his behavior. This observation enables Berrendo to keep his faith and maintain his personal
morality even as morality itself collapses in the battle around him. Indeed, Berrendo keeps his faith
until the end of this scene, when he is forced to take all the heads [of the fallen enemies for
identification] and did not wish to stay to

The Significance of Death and Sex to William Shakespeare
The Significance of Death and Sex to William Shakespeare
In this essay, I will consider Death and Sin in Shakespearean drama and I would like to look at three
of Shakespeare s tragic plays: Hamlet , Othello and King Lear .
Shakespeare uses many themes in all his play that attract audiences throughout history. The things he
wrote about are as relevant now as they were in his time. Death and Sin were issues that are always
around. In his plays, Shakespeare could comment on these things and make audiences see things that
they could not before.
In Hamlet, we can see clear examples of Death and Sin as significant to Shakespearean drama.
The first thing that points to both death and sin is the inclusion of a ghost in the play. ... Show more

Religion in the 16th Century was still a prominent issue. Religion had changed from Catholicism to
Christianity, depending on which monarch was on the throne at the time. People were expected to
change religion depending on what their monarch said or face being an outcast. In Elizabeth s reign,
the religion changed from Catholicism to Protestantism. Being unsure of religions myself, the

Where Tech Savvyness Ends And Where Being A Geek Begins
As we move further and further into a more technological age, lines begin to blur between where tech
savvyness ends and where being a Geek begins. I have been working with computers since I was 8
years old. I remember the good old days where I would sit there with my dad watching him play Zork
for hours on end. In fact that game is one of the reasons I started writing. This was in the mid to late
80 s and the machines had no hard drives and ran completely off of 5 1/4 inch floppy disk s. This was
all fun and games, but I didn t learn much from the experience. I did however learn to maneuver
through the DOS operating system as well as how to execute programs. My real experience didn t start
till around June of 1992. I live in the San Bernardino California area. If you know any history of the
area, in June 1992 there was a massive 7.3 earthquake that shook San Bernardino quite harshly.
Shopping malls all around the area had the roofs cave in. This was a great tragedy but for us a great
learning experience. Because of the earthquake the malls were forced to send all of their computer
equipment to the land fills for insurance purposes, wither they were damaged or not. This is where my
real experience started. My father brought home three PC s that looked more like junk than computers.
With a bit of elbow grease we were able to salvage parts from one of the PC s and get the other two
working. The obviously more powerful PC my dad decided to keep for himself and I got

Raising the Dropout Age Essay
Children are told from a young age that it is mandatory for them to graduate from high school, but it s
not until they are on the verge of dropping out that they hear the importance for staying in school. It is
also when they hear how high school students who dropouts learn the incredible price to pay in the
future when they give up on an education. Thinking with a teenage state of mind and trying to take the
easy way out they go straight for a GED, which is told to be an equivalent earning of a diploma.
Stated in a complete listing of educational resources most teachers tend to argue that The General

A person who does not have a high school diploma is at higher risk of being unemployed being a
single parent, being in a gang, or being in prison; therefore, the mandatory age for leaving high school
should be raised.
Dropping out of school does not seem to happen overnight; it comes after a long term process of
frustration and failure (Balfanz par 2). According to the National Center for Education Statistics, The
population studied students attending Baltimore schools and gathered research that indicates how low
test scores and report card grades as early as the 1st grade are reliable sources of whether students
would later drop out(Alexander, Entwisle and Kabbani par.6). Also having to go through grade
retention as early as kindergarten is also connected to why the dropout rate has reached a dynamic
level (Kaufman and Bradby par.6). Whoever decides to drops out has no type of support,
encouragement, or ambition starting at such a young age.
Someone who decides to dropout without a high school diploma face a higher risk of being
unemployed. When there is a lack of education, it will become difficult to receive a job and more
likely to become on welfare. The earnings potential on average for dropouts is to be unemployed and
earn less money when they eventually secure work rather than a high school graduate. In the Kerner
report, Dorothy Bullitt stated that employed dropouts working at unskilled jobs will belong in a low
paying service occupation offering

Social Class System Of The Mesoamerican Empire
The Aztecs are known as the last powerful Mesoamerican Empire. The Aztecs were once a nomadic
tribe and during the 13th century, found a home in central Mexico. At their peak, between 1345 and
1521, The Aztecs controlled 80,000 square miles throughout central Mexico. The Aztec empire had a
very intricate social class system. There were two main social classes in Aztec culture. First the
nobility or pilli, then the common people or macehualli. The nobility had many special privileges.
People of nobility received a higher level of education, wore ostentatious clothing and decorated their
home. Nobility were also able to hold government positions. Not all nobility were leaders or relatives
of other noblemen. People could move up ranks by distinction. Commoners were mostly hired to work
farms but were able to support themselves. There were also slaves, but unlike many other cultures, the
slaves were treated generally well. Slavery was not hereditary, therefore, the children of a slave were
always free. A slave could also purchase freedom if he had enough money. If a person was in an
economic hardship, he could put himself into slavery. In Aztec culture, education was mandatory
regardless of gender or caste. Boys usually received a more extensive education than girls. Girls were
taught how to cook and manage a home, but they were also taught how to economically run a home.
Women had power in Aztec society. There were two main classes of education. First the calmecac,

Entropy And Therapeutic Disorders
Because most natural processes are irreversible in the universe, overall, those processes lead to greater
disorder. This is because it requires energy to reorganize things and reverse processes. Even as I bring
order to a messy room, for example, I am using energy that I release in a disorganized way. For
example, my exertion produces sweat that evaporates. The water molecules from my sweat are more
disordered in the atmosphere than they were inside of my body. So even though the room is more
organized, the overall disorder of the universe has increased. We use the word entropy to describe
disorder. Entropy is the measure of the amount of disorder in a system. Remember, all systems are
trying to reach equilibrium, or the lowest energy

What are Branch Davidians
The Branch Davidians also known as The Branch are a religious group that formed from a schism in
the Davidian Seventh day Adventists originating in the 1950s. The Branch is most widely known for
the siege of its Mount Carmel Center compound near Waco, Texas in 1993. Since the siege there has
been mass speculation on the final outcome of the conflict and the actions of Federal Agencies
responding to the incident to include the ATF, FBI, and Texas National Guard. The siege lasted fifty
one days and resulted in the death of the Branch Davidian s leader, David Koresh, along with eighty
two Branch Davidian men, women, and children. Four ATF agents were also killed during the siege in
exchanges of gun fire with Branch Davidian members. This paper examines just who the Branch
Davidians are and their beliefs, Agencies that reported to the siege and their side of the story with
what happened at Waco, and finally the outcome and factors leading up to the end of the siege. I will
also try and shed light on how the federal agencies may have gone about the situation differently in
hind sight along with any policy changes that the event may have brought about.
The Shepherd s Rod Seventh day Adventists The Branch Davidians group comes from complicated
beginnings. The group came into existence as an off shoot of the Seventh day Adventist church after a
Bulgarian immigrant by the name of Victor Houteff in 1930 was banned from the Los Angeles

The Role Of Warfare During The Nineteenth Century Efforts...
The Power of Warfare The role of warfare played a tremendous role in the nineteenth century efforts
of nation building. Warfare gave rise to an increase of self pride within people, known as nationalism,
which allowed the people within countries to unite and further expand for the greater good of their
country. Warfare was used by countries like Italy, Germany, and Great Britain to build their nations by
attempting to unify there territories and establish their own governments with force. Warfare was used
to unite territories under one power, increase a country s borders, and to implement fear into other
countries to ensure that proper diplomatic processes were met to prevent invasion. Following the
Napoleonic Wars, there was a great amount of diplomatic instability within Europe, and in the Italian
states there was a call to unify every state into one nation, Italy (text, 717). A leader of the unification
movement, Camillo di Cavour (1810 1861) wanted to prevent chaotic revolutions to unite Italy, rather
he wanted to unify the Italian states by promoting the economic developments of the Italian states
(text, 717). Cavour was a prime minister of the Piedmont Sardinia territory, he was a great leader who
pushed for the advancement and increase of the region s economic and military powers, which he
believed would help promote a unified Italy (text, 717). Cavour s territory had much to gain from a

Medical Influences In Purchasing Decisions
COLLABORATORS
In an effort to reduce healthcare costs, the landscape of delivering healthcare is shifting. The medical
device/equipment procurement process is shifting its emphasis, as procurement officers at caregiving
locations are given more power and influence in purchasing decisions. The responsibility of
controlling costs in healthcare is no longer lies solely with procurement officers but has been
increasingly extended to physicians.
In 2015, 80 percent of physicians said they have personal responsibility to control costs (compared to
just 38 percent in 2005). Only 20 percent of physicians in the same study said they have complete
discretion over the purchasing decisions of medical devices. This newfound focus on cost for
physicians is the result of physicians moving to management led organizations instead of physician
led organizations. While the influence in purchasing decisions has been shifting, both parties do agree
that quality and clinical evidence are the most important criteria in procurement of medical supplies.
Where the two parties differed was the importance of price.
The current landscape of medical equipment purchasing shows consolidation on both ends of the
transaction: distributors are joining forces with each other and buying groups are consolidating to
create Group Purchasing Organizations (GPOs). The goal of consolidation is to create cost savings
and efficiencies through economies of scale. These GPOs typically facilitate purchasing for

Changing Face Of The Australian Family
Over the last five decades there have been many studies, reports, papers written and statistics collected
regarding the changing face of the Australian Family. Much of this information focuses on living
arrangements, relationships such as marriage and de facto, one parent households, working mothers
and fertility rates to name a few. There are several factors that have caused variance to the structure
and values of the Australian family including the increase of divorce, remarriage, same sex
relationships, one parent families and blended families. This paper will look at the extent of change
that the Australian family has undergone in the last 50 years, focusing on two key issues, firstly the
impact of women entering the workforce and secondly the decrease of fertility rates.
A definition of family is required to understand the parameters by which majority of studies have been
evaluated. For the purpose of data collection, The Australian Bureau of Statistics defines family as the
following:
Two or more persons, one of whom is at least 15 years of age, who are related by blood, marriage
(registered or de facto), adoption or fostering, and who are usually resident in the same household.
Separate families are identified for each married or de facto couple and for each one parent family in

  • 4. Couple Therapy Gender differences in couples work Couple therapy often refers to the common negative process, of pursuer and withdrawer, in order to understand the relational dance. This is the process where one partner purses the other through emotional demands, criticism, and complaints, while the other retreats through withdrawal, defensiveness, and passive interaction (Christensen, Heavey,1990). Many theorists have identified a gender linkage with this pattern, suggesting women present as the demanding, pursuer, while men assume the role of the distant, withdrawer (Christensen, Heavey,1990; Mornells, 1979). There is a belief among some theorists that this pattern results from different personality characteristics of men and women, and therefore impacted ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Same sex couples report having less family support than heterosexual couples, this doesn t appear to be completely to do with estrangement from family of origin, rather many couples contend with family relationships that are difficult and stressful (Rostosky et al., 2004). Rarely do same sex couples enjoy immediate, consistent, and pervasive emotional support and acceptance upon disclosure of their relationship to their families of origin (Rostosky et al., 2004). Many theorists believe the coming out stage is necessary in the development of a healthy identity. The coming out stage often is a time of great stress as individuals anticipate the reactions of their family of origin. • 5. Analysis Of The Book Missoula By John Krakauer [7] In his book, Missoula, John Krakauer analyses the issue of rape in the college town of Missoula. Krakauer begins his work by quoting the article False Allegations of Sexual Assault: Rape is unique. No other violent crime is so fraught with controversy, so enmeshed in dispute and in the politics of gender and sexuality... And within the domain of rape, the most highly charged area of debate concerns the issue of false allegations. For centuries, it has been asserted and assumed that women cry rape, that a large proportion of rape allegations are maliciously concocted for purposes of revenge or other motives. Krakauer uses this quote because in every situation he writes about, there is a common element of false allegations being made. In his writing he shares several occurrences with the reader, and while each are similar, there are also notable differences between them. This is because, as stated in the article quoted Rape is unique, not only is rape different from other crimes by nature, but each case is surrounded by its own unique circumstances. In each situation that is discussed in the book, Krakauer gives many details of rape, and he explains to readers what the characters went through. The book centers around an incident involving Allison Huguet and Beau Donaldson. One night, Allison was hanging out with a group of childhood friends when she was invited to a party at Beau Donaldson s house. When the party was winding down, the friends decided to stay ... • 6. Friar Lawrence To Blame Quotes Friar Lawrence s role in Romeo and Juliet Who is to blame for the deaths in the end of the play Romeo and Juliet? Friar Lawrence is a main character who definitely affects the storyline. Some people might believe that Romeo and Juliet are to blame, but I believe, ultimately, Friar Lawrence is to blame. Romeo could be to blame because he stupidly fell in love and made Friar Lawrence marry him and Juliet. Romeo s careless actions brought devastation to the Capulet and Montague s families. He had many near death experiences, but people other than him died. Friar Lawrence is suspicious because of his role in the book, how he carried the blame, and how different the story would be without him. Friar Lawrence s role in the play makes him suspicious ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Juliet wanted to get out of an arranged marriage with Paris so badly, she wanted to kill herself. She was also distraught because Romeo was banned from Verona, and she can t see him. Friar Lawrence helped her plan to fake her death, he gave her a potion to make her fall asleep for forty two hours. Take thou this vial, being then in bed, When presently through all thy vein shall run a cold and drowsy humor; for no pulse shall keep his native progress, but surcease; no warmth, no breath, shall testify thou livest... (Shakespeare 818). This quote helps show that Friar was helping Juliet. He gives her a vial of potion that she will take to hibernate. Because of this, Romeo believes Juliet is truly dead and he kills himself, wanting to be with her. During this time of chaos, Friar Lawrence was supposed to go down to the cellar and get Juliet so she didn t suffocate, but he didn t help Juliet. He let her kill herself, which is exactly what happened. Yea, noise? Then I ll be brief. O happy dagger! This is thy sheath; there rust, and let me die (Shakespeare 842). This quote shows that Friar Lawrence was there and he just wanted them out of there because he heard a noise; he only cares about himself and his safety. He didn t even bother to save Juliet when she was going crazy and stabbed herself. He left her alone and attempted to get out of the tomb. He ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 8. The Biosocial Explanation Of Gender Development The biosocial explanation of gender assumes that gender development focuses on the interaction between biological and social factors. The approach emphasises that both factors are equally important in determining gender. How we react to babies tend to be based on the child s sex identity. Often our sexual stereotypes do influence how we respond and expect behaviour to occur. Money and Ehrhardt (1972) believed that how an individual is sexually labelled determines how they are raised up, which goes to determine the child s gender identity, gender role identity etc. For example, if a boy was given a female toy, he would automatically go a Here they theorised in a book which said that social labelling and differential treatment pf boys and girls interact with biological factors to influence development. M E predicted that if a genetic male is labelled as a girl and treated as a girl before the age of three, he would acquire the gender identity of a girl. They said that psychologically, sexuality is undifferentiated at birth but becomes differentiated as masculine or feminine in the course of various experiences growing up. Condry and Condry (1976) conducted an experiment which done in a lab setting. It consisted of 200+ adults (male and female). They were shown a video of a baby. • 9. Daffodils By Wordsworth INTRODUCTION: The poem was written in the year 1802. It was first published in Poems in Two Volumes, in 1807. The very starting line of the poem I wandered lonely as a cloud informs the poet s profound sentiments of being left alone. It was actually the death of his brother John that led him to loneliness . We should remind the readers that this poem was not a result of imagination. Dorothy, Wordsworth s sister provides us an explanation of the occasion which inspired Wordsworth to produce this masterpiece: When we were in the woods beyond Gowbarrow Park, we saw a few daffodils close to waterside. Thus the poem is a result of actual visualization rather than imagery . In English literature, Wordsworth and his friend, Samuel Taylor ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... This presents an idea of seclusion. The idea of being alone is contradicted by the phrase crowd (line 3). This is actually the setting of the poem . As human form Wordsworth prefers seclusion but the crowd of daffodils bewilders his senses. The feeling of ecstasy suddenly makes a dive. This poem, obviously inspired by Wordsworth s stomping grounds, is well loved because of its simple yet beautiful rhythms and rhymes, and its rather sentimental topic. The poem consists of four six line stanzas, each of which follow an ababcc rhyme scheme and are written in iambic tetrameter, giving the poem a subtle back and forth motion that recalls swaying daffodils. By comparing himself to a cloud in the first line of the poem, the speaker signifies his close identification with the nature that surrounds him. He also demonstrates this connection by personifying the daffodils several times, even calling them a crowd as if they are a group of ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 10. Drosophila Melanogaster Lab Report Essay Introduction In most kitchens the small flies that are found are Drosophila Melanogaster also called fruit fly. They are often brought in by ripened tomatoes, grapes and other perishable items from the garden. Drosophila melanogaster is a little two winged insect about 3mm long two winged insect that belongs to the Diptera, the order of the flies. The drosophila egg is about half a millimeter long. Fertilization takes about one day the embryo to develop and hatch into a worm like larva. The larva eats and grows continuously, after two days as a third in star larva; it moults one more time to form an immobile pupa. Over the next four days, the body is completely remodeled to give the adult winged form, which then hatches from the pupal ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Some larva containing vials had hatched into flies. Counting of the flies began at this point. As flies started to grow, at different rates for each vial, with in the first seven days after all larva had hatched the flies were counted. The procedure was done according to theDrosophila manual (45 2620) Results F1 Predictions For our first generation (F1) of flies we chose to cross apterous (+) females and white eye (w) males. We predicted that the mutation would be sex linked recessive. So if the female was the sex with the mutation then all females would be wild type heterozygous. Heterozygous is a term used when the two genes for a trait are opposite. The males would all be white eye since they only have one X chromosome. If the males were the sex that had the mutation then all the flies would be wild type but the females would be heterozygous. F1 Outcomes From the cross white eye males with wild females, our results were we got both phenotypes in the males as well as the females to be wild type. F2 Predictions Based upon observation of the F1 generation, we hypothesize that the inheritance of the white eye (W) mutation is sex linked and recessive wild type. For the F2 generation the phenotype that was obtained is as followed. See Figure1. |Normal wings |Normal wings |No wings white |No wings | |Red eyes |White ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Essay about Analysis of Jack Johnson s Cookie Jar Analysis of Jack Johnson s Cookie Jar Jack Johnson s song, Cookie Jar is a powerful influence to challenge the beliefs and values of western society. The song is all about blaming what you have done on someone else, hence the title Cookie Jar. Jack Johnson is writing about how children are influenced by what they see on TV. In this song the boy watches violent shows that have people shooting each other with guns, the child now sees guns as something you are able to use on people and kills another child. Sure I pulled the trigger but it needed to be done, Cause life s been killing me ever since it begun this means that even the boy is blaming his misdeeds on life, this challenges the beliefs of society because the boy is saying life is bad now, and there isn t much good in life. The Great Depression was one of the longest and innermost economic downturn in the world of history between the years of 1929 and 1939. Also, The Great Depression led to the Federal Government having a more involved role in America s economy, this was done through the creation of Franklin D. In addition to the Capulets and Montagues being at fault for the fatality of Romeo and Juliet is Friar Laurence, because he gave Juliet a sleeping potion which, when taken, made her appear dead, which enraged Romeo when he found out that she was dead . After Romeo s banishment to Mantua, Juliet goes off the deep end, back talking to her parents and being overall, very disobedient. Juliet s rudeness got so out of hand, her father beat her and her mother basically disowned her. After that incident Juliet talks to her nurse, who basically says to go to confession to clean your soul, and tell your father that you will go through with the marriage. So when someone writes a book they know it will not please everyone. However, do any authors ever think, Not only can my book be ill received, but it might even get banned. Memory performance and capacity requirements are small for simple, low cost systems. In contrast, memory throughput can be the most critical requirement in complex, high performance systems. The following general types of memories can be used in systems such as Volatile and non volatile memories. SRAM can be found in the cache memory of a computer or as a part of the RAM digital to analog converters on video cards. Static RAM is also used for high speed registers, caches and small memory banks like a frame buffer on a display adapter. Several scientific and industrial subsystems, modern appliances, automotive electronics, electronic toys, mobile phones, synthesizers and digital cameras also use SRAM. • 23. Analysis Of River Out Of Eden And The Art Of War It is difficult to argue whether strategy is an art form or science because it can actually be both. Sun Tzu s text, The Art of War is an example of an ancient humanism text about strategies of war. Humanism by definition is, an outlook or system of thought attaching prime importance to human rather than divine or supernatural matters. Humanist beliefs stress the potential value and goodness of human beings, emphasize common human needs, and seek solely rational ways of solving human problems (Dictionary.com). Therefore, humanism is much like philosophy which is related to science yet influenced by the skill of art. Thomas Cleary starts off the text with a quote from The Book of Balance and Harmony which states, To know after seeing is not worthy of being called knowing (qtd. in Cleary, xv xvi), but since Sun Tzu s teachings are philosophical the text renders itself as war knowledge. In River Out of Eden: A Darwinian View of Life , author and biologist Richard Dawkins would greatly disagree with Cleary s quote because Dawkins believes that, Scientific beliefs are supported by evidence, and they get results (Dawkins 33). There are many factors that have contributed to Houston s success this season, but the team s progress can ultimately be traced back to the moves made by Rockets general manager Daryl Morey in the offseason. After infighting and chemistry issues plagued the Rockets during the past few seasons, they decided not to re sign Dwight Howard after three seasons in Houston. He examines this topic through the characterization of Maria, Lieutenant Berrendo, and Robert Jordan. Maria is an important character who has lost her innocence against her will. People of nobility received a higher level of education, wore ostentatious clothing and decorated their home. Nobility were also able to hold government positions. Not all nobility were leaders or relatives of other noblemen. People could move up ranks by distinction. Commoners were mostly hired to work farms but were able to support themselves. There were also slaves, but unlike many other cultures, the slaves were treated generally well. Slavery was not hereditary, therefore, the children of a slave were always free. A slave could also purchase freedom if he had enough money. If a person was in an economic hardship, he could put himself into slavery. In Aztec culture, education was mandatory regardless of gender or caste. Boys usually received a more extensive education than girls. Girls were taught how to cook and manage a home, but they were also taught how to economically run a home. Women had power in Aztec society. There were two main classes of education. • 34. Entropy And Therapeutic Disorders Because most natural processes are irreversible in the universe, overall, those processes lead to greater disorder. This is because it requires energy to reorganize things and reverse processes. Even as I bring order to a messy room, for example, I am using energy that I release in a disorganized way. For example, my exertion produces sweat that evaporates. The water molecules from my sweat are more disordered in the atmosphere than they were inside of my body. So even though the room is more organized, the overall disorder of the universe has increased. We use the word entropy to describe disorder. Entropy is the measure of the amount of disorder in a system. Remember, all systems are trying to reach equilibrium, or the lowest energy ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

The Branch is most widely known for the siege of its Mount Carmel Center compound near Waco, Texas in 1993. Since the siege there has been mass speculation on the final outcome of the conflict and the actions of Federal Agencies responding to the incident to include the ATF, FBI, and Texas National Guard. The siege lasted fifty one days and resulted in the death of the Branch Davidian s leader, David Koresh, along with eighty two Branch Davidian men, women, and children. Four ATF agents were also killed during the siege in exchanges of gun fire with Branch Davidian members. This paper examines just who the Branch Davidians are and their beliefs, Agencies that reported to the siege and their side of the story with what happened at Waco, and finally the outcome and factors leading up to the end of the siege. I will also try and shed light on how the federal agencies may have gone about the situation differently in hind sight along with any policy changes that the event may have brought about. • 36. The Role Of Warfare During The Nineteenth Century Efforts... The Power of Warfare The role of warfare played a tremendous role in the nineteenth century efforts of nation building. Warfare gave rise to an increase of self pride within people, known as nationalism, which allowed the people within countries to unite and further expand for the greater good of their country. Warfare was used by countries like Italy, Germany, and Great Britain to build their nations by attempting to unify there territories and establish their own governments with force. Warfare was used to unite territories under one power, increase a country s borders, and to implement fear into other countries to ensure that proper diplomatic processes were met to prevent invasion. Following the Napoleonic Wars, there was a great amount of diplomatic instability within Europe, and in the Italian states there was a call to unify every state into one nation, Italy (text, 717). A leader of the unification movement, Camillo di Cavour (1810 1861) wanted to prevent chaotic revolutions to unite Italy, rather he wanted to unify the Italian states by promoting the economic developments of the Italian states (text, 717). Cavour was a prime minister of the Piedmont Sardinia territory, he was a great leader who pushed for the advancement and increase of the region s economic and military powers, which he believed would help promote a unified Italy (text, 717). Cavour s territory had much to gain from a unified Italy including a larger amount of available labor, and also a ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Coastal people lived west of the Cascades in Washington. The Plateau people lived east of the Cascades. Even though they are different native American cultures, they had many things in common. Both native American cultures live in Washington on either side of the Cascades. The Coastal people adapted well to the wet climate. They mostly relied on the nearby ocean for food like sea mammals and whales. They took advantage of the forest area and cut down the cedar trees to make permanent longhouses. They also carved masks, totem poles, and carved stones. Even though they had the wet climate, they stayed in the same area. ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 38. Medical Influences In Purchasing Decisions COLLABORATORS In an effort to reduce healthcare costs, the landscape of delivering healthcare is shifting. The medical device/equipment procurement process is shifting its emphasis, as procurement officers at caregiving locations are given more power and influence in purchasing decisions. The responsibility of controlling costs in healthcare is no longer lies solely with procurement officers but has been increasingly extended to physicians. In 2015, 80 percent of physicians said they have personal responsibility to control costs (compared to just 38 percent in 2005). Only 20 percent of physicians in the same study said they have complete discretion over the purchasing decisions of medical devices. This newfound focus on cost for physicians is the result of physicians moving to management led organizations instead of physician led organizations. While the influence in purchasing decisions has been shifting, both parties do agree that quality and clinical evidence are the most important criteria in procurement of medical supplies. Where the two parties differed was the importance of price. The current landscape of medical equipment purchasing shows consolidation on both ends of the transaction: distributors are joining forces with each other and buying groups are consolidating to create Group Purchasing Organizations (GPOs). The goal of consolidation is to create cost savings and efficiencies through economies of scale. These GPOs typically facilitate purchasing for ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 39. Changing Face Of The Australian Family Over the last five decades there have been many studies, reports, papers written and statistics collected regarding the changing face of the Australian Family. Much of this information focuses on living arrangements, relationships such as marriage and de facto, one parent households, working mothers and fertility rates to name a few. There are several factors that have caused variance to the structure and values of the Australian family including the increase of divorce, remarriage, same sex relationships, one parent families and blended families. This paper will look at the extent of change that the Australian family has undergone in the last 50 years, focusing on two key issues, firstly the impact of women entering the workforce and secondly the decrease of fertility rates. A definition of family is required to understand the parameters by which majority of studies have been evaluated. For the purpose of data collection, The Australian Bureau of Statistics defines family as the following: Two or more persons, one of whom is at least 15 years of age, who are related by blood, marriage (registered or de facto), adoption or fostering, and who are usually resident in the same household. Separate families are identified for each married or de facto couple and for each one parent family in the household (ABS, 1992b). Another term, nuclear family is commonly used and describes the family as male/father, female/mother and children. Saggers and Sims (2005), state that the ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
