4. I MAC
• An apple I MAC has a 8gb hard drive which
enables the software to run successfully. E.G;
powhardrive also allows me to save images
and other documents

needed for my products like my photoshoot
images and article.

5. NIKON CAMERA D3100-DIGITAL SLR
• I use this camera for the photography side of
my product so I was able to produce, a cover
image and other images for my magazine. The
camera allowed me to take high quality
images which made my magazine look very
professional. it is built around a 14.2
megapixel CMOS sensor, bringing out not only
a live view but also a full HD capture.

6. Keyboard and mouse
• The keyboard and mouse were crucial elements
to compose my product and my coursework as
without it I wouldn’t of been able to produce my
work. On things like my evaluation. I learnt
different methods an shortcuts that I could use in
order to erase or copy work to copy and paste ctrl
c + shift + 4. without the use of a mouse I
wouldn’t of been able to do the basics like control
my computer as I wouldn’t be ale to access
anything on screen without using a mouse to
direct it.

7. SD CARD
The SD card allowed me to be able
to keep memory of the images
that I had took using the camera , I
was able to transfer this onto my
computer and import them onto
photoshop in order t create my
magazine

8. Flash trigger
• This is a piece of equipment that send an
automatic signal to the strobe lights to flash
once the camera has been clicked to capture
the photo. It allows more light to come
through and bounce off the white background
so the quality of the photo is increased.

9. PHOTOSHOP
• Photoshop allows to edit photos and refine
details within the image. I used this to change
the hue and saturation of my photo so that
the image appeared brighter and glowed
more. I darkened he skin tone of both y artists
so that the white on the clothing would
contrast. The cover image was the main image
that I changed the saturation as it was the
main selling point of my magazine to attract
the reader

11. CONSTRUCTING
• To construct my work photo shop allows me to
navigate items in specific positions. I used the
move tool which means I am able to pick up
items and drop them into place.

12. INDESIGN
• InDesign is a desktop publishing software
application which allows you to create work
such as posters, flyers, brochures magazines. I
used this to create my article this allowed me
to put my images on a double page spread
and and in text for my article. Initially I created
the background on photoshop and placed it
onto in design.

13. PREZI
• Prezi is a presentation tool that can be used as an
alternative to a traditional powerpoint slide. Instead
of using slides prezi uses one large canvas that allows
you to pan and zoom to various parts of the canvas
and empasize ideas that are presented. By using this
is has allowed me to create my evaluation by using
various ways to present them.

14. POWERPOINT
• PowerPoint is a presentation software that is a
graphical approach into presenting slides. I
also used this for parts of my evaluation so
that I wasn’t using the same software all the
time. To show off my knowledge of all the
different programmesi have learnt to use.

15. WORDPRESS
WordPress is an online open source website which
allows you to create a blog of your chosen choice.
I as able to present all my work related to the
course onto here. This includes my evaluation,
topics, and finished magazine. Was also able to
add different pages which made it easier to view
for anyone who wanted to access this site and see
a specific thing

16. SLIDESHARE
• SlideShare is a hosting service which allows
users to upload files so they can be viewed on
the site itself. I used slide share to add
different powerpoints onto my blog so that
people were able to view it on wordpress
itself
