1. What have you learnt about technologies from the process of
constructing this product?
Throughout the production of my magazine I have
used different technology, to make it look the most
professional I can in this PowerPoint I am going to
show the different technology I have used and
how it helped me

2. Technology used for
photography
• I have different types of technology to
help me produce my photography, these
are lighting equipment, SLR camera and
a tripod. The light equipment was used
to give the most professional lighting for
the photography I only used this
equipment for one of the shot as the
studio lighting was dull and the other
locations lighting were well lit. The SLR
camera was the most needed equipment
as it allowed me to do my photography, I
used a SLR camera rather than a digital
camera as the quality is much better and
I wanted to produce my magazine to
look as professional as I can produce it.
Tripod was used in my photography as It
allowed me to get the correct shot, as if
I did not have the tripod the shots may
not be correct but also it could come out
blurry due to movement of my hands.

3. Software I used to help me
produce my magazine
• To produce my magazine I used to key software's, these
were Photoshop and In Design. These software allowed
me to produce my magazine up to the highest standard
and make it look professional. These software helped
make it professional as I could edit almost everything
from the font and the background. The layout was
created by these two software's as I could place any
item, such as the title anywhere on the page, for example
Photoshop allowed me to place the title of the magazine
behind the main image. In design allowed me to place the
magazine to a certain size, and place the front cover and
the contents page side by side so they can be printed
together.

4. Hardware I used to help me
create my magazine
• The only used one set of
hardware to help me create
my magazine this was the
Apple Mac. The Apple Mac
allowed me to produce my
magazine as it had all the
editing software built in from
Photoshop to designing
movies from final cut. From
using the Mac’s in this project
I now know how to use
them, as before this project I
did not even know the
basics, such switching the
monitor on.

5. Other Software's that I used
during this project
• There are many other software's I used in this
project, both on the computer and on the
internet. The other software's that I used on the
computer were Final Cut and PowerPoint, Final
Cut helped me create videos for my evaluations
and edit them this was the first time I used it
but I learnt to edit ETC on it instant as it is
really easy to use, PowerPoint was used also
used during my evaluation but this was not the
first time I used it as I have used it many times
in the past. The internet software's I used in
this project where Slide share, Prezi and
Blogger. All these software's were new to me
but helped during the project. Blogger was the
key software as that Is I have stored my work to
get it marked and show the different aspect of
this project, as the research in include, the
production of the magazine is include and the
evaluation is also included. Slide share was
used to insert the PowerPoint in to the Blogger
this allowed me to insert the PowerPoint
instantly and Prezi was used for both the
research and the evaluation as it allowed me to
create a way to present information suitable to
show the different aspects.
