2. InDesign
• InDesign Is software provided by Apple that we were
able to use on Mac computers. I found this software to
be useful in terms of being a good platform in which to
design my magazine and providing a variety of tools.
• I did encounter problems with InDesign however, when it
occasionally froze or wouldn’t enable me to save work.
If these problems were resolved it would prove useful
however work was completed even with these issues
and so overall InDesign was a useful tool in my project.
• InDesign is also software that can only be used on Mac
computers and so I was not able to access and work on
my work at home.

4. Photoshop
• Photoshop was useful when editing my
photographs as it provided tools to crop and filter
the imaged to my specification.
• As I only used Photoshop once throughout my
project I didn’t encounter any problems with this
software and so I wouldn’t rush to improve the
software in anyway with it being relatively easy to
complete tasks with the current software.
• To access Photoshop however, you are required to
buy the majority of the software so if I had needed
to, I wouldn’t of been able to access Photoshop out
of college.

6. Blogger
• This website has been particularly useful throughout
my project, providing an area to save and
showcase my work in my own user area.
• I was able to create blog posts with ease and the
tools were easy to master. As well as this, I was able
to access the website at home which was useful to
work on my project wherever I was however, with
someone without access to the internet, they
wouldn’t be able to use Blogger.

8. Nikon D3100
• For the photography element of the Magazine
process, I used my Nikon D3100 digital camera to
take photographs. As it was my own personal piece
of technology, I understood how to use it efficiently
and effectively and had access to it whenever I
needed it.
• I was able to take good quality photographs and
take as many as I needed in order to get the
images I needed and I had no trouble when using
the camera.
