1. WHAT HAVE YOU LEARNT ABOUT
TECHNOLOGIES FROM THE PROCESS OF
CONSTRUCTING THIS PRODUCT?
2. DIGITAL SLR CAMERA
By using a Digital SLR camera, I could get a
better, professional picture than I would have done
suing a regular point and shoot digital camera.
I learnt to use the camera off automatic, and use mainly
the portrait setting, which narrows the depth and
field, and makes the subject in clear focus and the
background slightly blurred.
ADOBE PHOTOSHOP
I have used adobe photo shop for image manipulation. I edited my picture by
adjusting things such as the brightness and contrast. I also used the clone
stamp tool to edit out shadows, and the spot healing tool to edit any
blemishes on the skin.
Layers were also useful as the enabled me to overlap certain things on my
front cover and change opacity etc.
ADOBE INDESIGN
I used Indesign to create my contents page and double page spread. It
was helpful because it has tools such as text wrap (so I could have
pictures in the middle of text) and it also enabled me to achieve the task
of making my magazine look professional as it tells you when everything
it lined up.
3. BLOGGER
Blogging helped me keep track of what I’ve learnt cause it was easy to look
back and my preliminary task and compare that to my final magazine.
Blogging helped me present my research and planning in a clear way
because I was able to include pictures etc. and use a separate post for each
different section of the planning.
MY EVALUATION
Technology has been useful for my evaluation because I have been able to
present it in a more interesting way, rather than just using text posts.
