What is Web 2.0?--Ryley    Web 2.0 refers to a new generation of applications that are social in nature.A web 2.0 site allows users to interact and collaborate with each other in a social media dialogue as creators of user generated contentin a virtual community in contrast where users are limited to the passive viewing of content that was created for them.
Who is Tim O'Reilly and what does he know related to Web 2.0? Kaleb      Tim O'Reilly is the CEO of O'Reilly Media Inc.  O'Reilly media inc is a computer book publishing company. Tim  " Tim is also a partner at  O'Reilly AlphaTech Ventures , O'Reilly's early stage venture firm, and is on the board of  Safari Books Online ." - Tim O'Reilly radar. O'Reilly sponsors web 2.0 and hosts meetings for it.

SKYPE can be used in 1 or 2 way audio, 1 or 2 way video, text, or 1 or 2 way video and audio. It can also be used in online classes so a student may hear a teacher's lecture from their house.

ZDNET:  A  business technology news website.    Aggregation:  The state of being collected into a mass, assemblage, or sum     Blogroll: A blogger's list of hyperlinks  that are recommendations to other blogs.
Web 2.0 Terms--Jenna AJAX: AJAX means Asynchronous Java. This is a tool used to help the website load, and work with more fluency. Allowing it to skip the loading process every so often.              Java:    Mash up: XML: XML means Extensible Markup Language. This tool is to help make the website more interactive. 
Web 2.0 Terms and Applications Definitions--Katie Tagging--    Categorization of content by users adding "tags" short, usually one-word descriptions to facilitate searching, without dependence on pre-made categories.   Wiki-- A wiki is the definitive Web 2.0 application, as wikis allow users to share information on community pages. Wiki literally means "fast." A wiki is designed to be a fast way for people to share information by creating content on a page, sharing it with others in a group and allowing them to edit or add content on the same wiki page. There are hundreds of wiki hosts available to teachers for use in the classroom. Podcast--    Like a blog, a classroom podcast is a collection of comments on a topic, but a classroom podcast is audio commentary. A classroom podcast can be an instrument that a teacher uses to share information with students and parents, or the classroom podcast can be a platform for students to share information about a lesson or assignment. Like a blog, a podcast can be syndicated so listeners can subscribe to the podcast using a service like iTunes or PodBean.

Differences/ Evolution of Web--Tyler Web 1.0 is . . .    Web 1.0 is more for information. Web 1.0 is when information is provided and you have to write the information yourself. Unlike web 2.0, 1.0 has less of a technical collaboration and relies on downloadable content from the outside in the form of a hard drive. Web 1.0 is a singular, information web. A perfect example of web 1.0 is Microsoft.  Web 2.0 is . . . Web 2.0 is a commutative web base, with the information still provided. Web 2.0 has a more accessible web sites and a more accessible web base for communicating over the internet. 2.0 webs also are great for downloadable apps and extensions over the web.  Great examples would be Facebook, Google Apps, and Twitter.

What is cloud computing?--Nick Cloud computing is a technology that uses the internet and remote servers to maintain data and applications. Also cloud computing allows pretty much anyone to use applications. An example of this is yahoo or Gmail. You don't need software or a server to use them either. You just need a internet connection to send emails. The server and email management software is all the cloud (internet) is totally managed by the cloud service provider (ex. Google).
