This semester my art practice has primarily focused on utilising carefully constructed language as
opposed to previous stream of consciousness techniques, while further investigating participatory
projects, and assemblage as a new form of installation. The importance of memory and the

became a fundamental element in each work. Conceptually, my practice has evolved into a critique
of diaristic language by exhibiting private confessions in public spaces and inviting strangers to

polymers have very promising applications in the biomedical field as delivery systems of
therapeutic agents, tissue engineering scaffolds, cell culture supports, bioseparation devices,
sensors or actuators systems. pH sensitive polymers: pH sensitive polymers are polyelectrolytes
that bear in their structure weak acidic or basic groups that either accept or release protons in
response to changes in environmental pH. The pendant acidic or basic groups on polyelectrolytes
undergo ionization just like acidic or basic groups of monoacids or monobases. However, complete
ionization on polyelectrolytes is more difficult due to electrostatic effects exerted by other adjacent

Arabic Culture Culture is a very significant attribute of human experience determining to a large
extend the way people relate with others within their environment. According to Mahfouz (2011),
culture is also important not just for managing the way understand and relate with each other but
also as a form of identification giving people a sense of belonging and identity. The humanrace is
highly cultured with many different people preferring to lead their lives based on traditions defined
within their cultures and in order to understand human behavior and relationship, it is important to
ensure that this issue is well understood and appreciated. This brief paper discusses the effect that
culturehas on how people relate with each other and how different cultures provide different
avenues of expression that make life easier or harder for those that relate with them. I will use my
personal experience of my Arabic culture to provide insights about the issues that culture influences
