Wax Contouring The process of carving the denture base to simulate the
contour o the natural tissues that are being replaced by the denture , These carving are
made in wax after the teeth have been arranged .
The form of the polished surface influences stability, retention,
esthetics, lip and cheek support and avoid lip and cheek biting
