Presentation on wastewater treatment plantAmreetOjha
Presentation on Wastewater Treatment Plant. In which you will get Process Flow Diagram and about of Sewage Treatment Plant and Effluent Treatment Plant.
Canadian clear have been serving the process industry in india for the last decade. The products include patented inline conical filters, cartridge filter elements in various material of construction and in different micron ratings to cover filter elements upto 01 micron for micro for air.
Water treatment is used to optimize most water-based industrial processes, such as: heating, cooling, processing, cleaning, and rinsing, so that operating costs and risks are reduced. Poor water treatment lets water interact with the surfaces of pipes and vessels which contain it. Steam boilers can scale up or corrode, and these deposits will mean more fuel is needed to heat the same amount of water. Cooling towers can also scale up and corrode, but left untreated, the warm, dirty water they can contain will encourage bacteria to grow, and Legionnaires’ Disease can be the fatal consequence. Also, water treatment is used to improve the quality of water contacting the manufactured product e.g. semiconductors, and/or can be part of the product e.g. beverages, pharmaceuticals, etc. In these instances, poor water treatment can cause defective products.
waste water management, water conservation, managing usage of water, environmental issue, water pollution and its types, ground water pollution, depleting oxygen in water, suspended matter, chemical water pollution, marine dumping, sewage water, marine dumping, nuclear waste

Hierarchical Digital Twin of a Naval Power SystemKerry Sado
A hierarchical digital twin of a Naval DC power system has been developed and experimentally verified. Similar to other state-of-the-art digital twins, this technology creates a digital replica of the physical system executed in real-time or faster, which can modify hardware controls. However, its advantage stems from distributing computational efforts by utilizing a hierarchical structure composed of lower-level digital twin blocks and a higher-level system digital twin. Each digital twin block is associated with a physical subsystem of the hardware and communicates with a singular system digital twin, which creates a system-level response. By extracting information from each level of the hierarchy, power system controls of the hardware were reconfigured autonomously. This hierarchical digital twin development offers several advantages over other digital twins, particularly in the field of naval power systems. The hierarchical structure allows for greater computational efficiency and scalability while the ability to autonomously reconfigure hardware controls offers increased flexibility and responsiveness. The hierarchical decomposition and models utilized were well aligned with the physical twin, as indicated by the maximum deviations between the developed digital twin hierarchy and the hardware.

Cosmetic shop management system project report.pdfKamal Acharya
Buying new cosmetic products is difficult. It can even be scary for those who have sensitive skin and are prone to skin trouble. The information needed to alleviate this problem is on the back of each product, but it's thought to interpret those ingredient lists unless you have a background in chemistry.
Instead of buying and hoping for the best, we can use data science to help us predict which products may be good fits for us. It includes various function programs to do the above mentioned tasks.
Data file handling has been effectively used in the program.
The automated cosmetic shop management system should deal with the automation of general workflow and administration process of the shop. The main processes of the system focus on customer's request where the system is able to search the most appropriate products and deliver it to the customers. It should help the employees to quickly identify the list of cosmetic product that have reached the minimum quantity and also keep a track of expired date for each cosmetic product. It should help the employees to find the rack number in which the product is placed. It is also Faster and more efficient way.
Immunizing Image Classifiers Against Localized Adversary Attacksgerogepatton
This paper addresses the vulnerability of deep learning models, particularly convolutional neural networks
(CNN)s, to adversarial attacks and presents a proactive training technique designed to counter them. We
introduce a novel volumization algorithm, which transforms 2D images into 3D volumetric representations.
When combined with 3D convolution and deep curriculum learning optimization (CLO), itsignificantly improves
the immunity of models against localized universal attacks by up to 40%. We evaluate our proposed approach
using contemporary CNN architectures and the modified Canadian Institute for Advanced Research (CIFAR-10
and CIFAR-100) and ImageNet Large Scale Visual Recognition Challenge (ILSVRC12) datasets, showcasing
accuracy improvements over previous techniques. The results indicate that the combination of the volumetric
input and curriculum learning holds significant promise for mitigating adversarial attacks without necessitating
adversary training.
Water scarcity is the lack of fresh water resources to meet the standard water demand. There are two type of water scarcity. One is physical. The other is economic water scarcity.

i. Processes used
• IMPORTANCE OF WASTE WATER TREATMENT
3. INTRODUCTION
• Water is a vital natural resource which forms
the basis of all life.
• It is key resource of all economic activity.
• About 97%of earth’s surface is covered by
water and most of the animals and plants
have 60-65% water in their body.
• The water we use keeps on cycle endlessly
called ‘Hydrological cycle.’
4. SOURCES OF WATER
Source of water
Surface water
Ponds,lakes,streams,
Rivers, storage
reservior,stored
rain water
Ground water
Springs, infiltration
galleries, wells
5. PONDS
• Naturally small sized
depression formed
within the surface of
the earth , when gets
filled up with water , is
known as pond.
6. LAKES
• A natural large sized
depression formed on
the surface of the earth
,when it is filled up with
water is called lakes.
• Larger and older lakes
have purer water
compared to newer
lakes .
7. STREAMS
• In hilly regions ,
generally the small
amount of water runs
off towards the earth is
called stream.
• These streams supplies
water to ponds and
lakes.
8. RIVERS
• Rivers are born from
the hill when too many
streams combine
together.
• Rivers are the most
important source of
water for public water
supply scheme.
9. STORAGE RESERVIOR
• These are formed by
constructing hydraulic
structures like dam
across the river .
• This stored water is
generally used for
irrigation and
hydropower.
10. STORED RAINWATER
• At some places, on the
terrace of the buildings
water is stored during
rainy season in abig
tank and then used
whenever needed.
11. SPRINGS
• The natural outflow of
ground water at the
earth’s surface is said to
form a spring.
• It supplies very small
amount of water.
13. WELLS
• A water well is a hole
usually vertical ,
excavated in the earth
for bringing ground
water to the surface.
Four type of well are
i. Dug well
ii. Tube well
iii. Artesian well
iv. French wall
14. PROBLEMS DUE TO OVERUSE OF
WATER
1. Problems related with overuse of surface
water:
• Decrease in flow of water in stream and river.
• Wetland surface reduction.
• Water logging.
• Migration of people.
15. PROBLEMS DUE TO OVERUSE OF
WATER
1. Problems related with overuse of ground
water:
• A heavily pumped well can lower water level
and wells go dry
• Heavy pumping can deplete a whole aquifer.
• Overuse of freshwater reservoir along
coastlines often allows saltwater to intrude
into aquifers and increases the salinity of
water.
16. WASTE WATER TREATMENT
• Wastewater treatment is a process to
convert wastewater into an effluent that can
be either returned to the water cycle. The
latter is called water reclamation.
• Treatment means removing impurities from
water being treated .The physical
infrastructure used for wastewater treatment
is called a "wastewater treatment plant"
(WWTP).
17. Processes Used
• PHASE SEPARATION :
• Phase separation transfers impurities into a
non-aqueous phase.
• Phase separation may occur at intermediate
points in a treatment sequence to remove
solids generated during oxidation or polishing.
Grease and oil may be recovered for fuel
or saponification.
18. • SEDIMENTATION :
• Solids and non-polar liquids may be removed from
wastewater by gravity when density differences
are sufficient to overcome dispersion
by turbulence. Gravity separation of solids is the
primary treatment of sewage, where the unit
process is called "primary settling tanks" or
"primary sedimentation tanks".
19. • It is also widely used for the treatment of
other wastewaters. Solids that are heavier
than water will accumulate at the bottom of
quiescent settling basins.
20. • FILTRATION :
• Colloidal suspensions of fine solids may be
removed by filtration through fine physical
barriers distinguished from coarser screens or
sieves by the ability to remove particles
smaller than the openings through which the
water passes.
21. • OXIDATION :
• Oxidation reduces the biochemical oxygen
demand of wastewater, and may reduce the
toxicity of some impurities.
• Other two methods of oxidation are bio-
logical oxidation and chemical oxidation.
22. INDUSTRIAL WASTEWATER
TREATMENT PLANTS
• Disposal of wastewaters from an industrial
plant is a difficult and costly problem.
• Most plants have onsite facilities to treat their
wastewaters so that the pollutant
concentrations in the treated wastewater
comply with the local and/or national
regulations regarding disposal of wastewaters
into community treatment plants or into
rivers, lakes or oceans.
23. • Other industrial processes that produce a lot
of waste-waters such as paper and pulp
production has created environmental
concern, leading to development of processes
to recycle water use within plants before they
have to be cleaned and disposed.
24. AGRICULTURAL WASTEWATER
TREATMENT PLANTS
• Agricultural wastewater treatment for
continuous confined animal operations like
milk and egg production may be performed in
plants using mechanized treatment units
similar to those described under industrial
wastewater; but where land is available for
ponds, settling basins and facultative
lagoons may have lower operational costs for
seasonal use conditions from breeding or
harvest cycles.
25. LEACHATE TREATMENT PLANTS
• Leachate treatment plants are used to treat
leachate from landfills. Treatment options
include: biological treatment, mechanical
treatment by ultrafiltration and treatment
with active carbon filters.
26. IMPORTANCE OF WASTE WATER
TREATMENT
• Due to decrease in level of drinking or usable
water so it is must.
• We have to reuse the waste water to meet
with the requirement of water.
• Water for development of industry, agriculture
is must.
• “PROPER MANAGEMENT IS MUST”.
