VMware's vCloud Hybrid Service (vCHS) allows extending on-premise VMware environments to the cloud. It provides infrastructure resources through virtual private clouds (VPCs) or dedicated clouds. Customers can migrate or replicate existing and new applications between their data center and vCHS. vCHS uses VMware technologies like vSphere and vCloud Networking and Security to provide a consistent environment. It offers disaster recovery as a service through replication between on-premise and cloud environments. vCHS aims to simplify hybrid cloud deployments and provide flexible consumption models.
