WHAT IS VARIATION AND CLASSIFICATION?
• The millions of types of living things can be organised into categories, where
we group together organisms with similar features. This is called the
classification system.
• Variation is the major deviations in living things and the characteristics
portrayed.
WHAT IS INHERITED?
It’s something inherited from your family into you.
To make it more clearer and understandable, it means the features of you which is passed on
from your parents.
Example:
1. Your eye colour.
2. Your skin colour.
3. Your hair colour.
4. How you look.
5. Etc
HOW TO CLASSIFY?
•If you want to classify yourself, you can start by first finding out all the
features about yourself.
•You can write your gender, age, height, weight, vertebrate, skin colour, eye
colour, hair colour.
•You can also write down what features of yourself you inherited from
your parents.
