This document discusses an experimental study on using fly ash and plastic in concrete paver blocks. The study aims to evaluate the performance of plastic-concrete mixes for paver blocks. Several concrete mixes were tested with varying percentages of fly ash substituted for cement, and plastic pieces added. The compressive strength of resulting paver blocks was tested after 3 and 7 days of curing. Results showed that replacing cement with up to 20% fly ash, or adding plastic pieces, increased the compressive strength of the blocks over time. Using waste materials like fly ash and plastic in paver blocks can improve properties while reducing costs and waste disposal impacts.

MANUFACTURE OF INTERLOCKING CONCRETE PAVING BLOCKS WITH FLY ASH AND GLASS POWDERIAEME Publication
Problems associated with construction site have been known for many years. Construction industry has to support a world of continuing population growth and economic development.
Interlocking concrete paving blocks are ideal materials on the footpaths, parking areas, gardens, etc. for easy laying, better look and finish. But now being adopted extensively in different uses where the conventional construction of pavement using hot bituminous mix or cement concrete technology is
not feasible or desirable. The rising costs of construction materials and the need to adhere to sustainability, alternative construction techniques and materials are being sought.
A paving stone or brick made in any desired shape that can be used for pavements, building bricks or other purposes. these 'eco-friendly' paving bricks are cheaper than the classic model.
Paving stones can be manufactured from waste plastics without requiring significant capital investment. The main component of the mixture can be made from plastic packaging (like bags and transparent films) and it is possible to mix other types of plastic waste in. The process is simple, melting the plastics down and mixing with sand. This mixture can then be moulded into any desired shape to produce paving tiles (such as for pavements)
There are several steps to production. The plastic serves to bind the materials together. The plastic is then melted in a vat over a wood fire. You then add sand and mix it. Then, you pour the mix into a mould and let it dry for 15 minutes.
Effective Utilisation of Waste Glass in ConcreteIJERA Editor
Glass is a widely used product throughout the world; it is versatile, durable and reliable. The uses of glass
ranges drastically, therefore waste glass is discarded, stockpiled or land filled. About million tons of waste glass
is generated and around large percent of this glass is disposed of in landfills. This pattern has influenced
environmental organizations to pressure the professional community to lower the amount of glass being
discarded as well as find use to the non-recycled glass in new applications. In relation, the recycling of waste
glass as a component in concrete gives waste glass a sustainable alternative to land filling and therefore makes it
economically viable. The proposed study of utilising waste glass powder(GLP) in concrete as partial replacement
of cement as well as the use of crushed glass particles(CGP) retained on 1.18mm & 2.36mm IS sieve as a partial
replacement to sand, which offers important benefits related to strength of concrete as well as it is eco-friendly.
Recycling of mixed-colour waste glass possesses major problems for municipalities, and this problem can be
greatly eliminated by re-using waste glass as sand/cement replacement in concrete. Moreover, re-using waste
materials in construction can reduce the demand on the sources of primary materials. In this project the attempts
have been made to partially replace the cement as well as sand by waste glass powder and crushed glass
particles with equal combination by 5% interval up to 20% replacement and observe its effect on the strength of
concrete after 7 days and 28 days of curing.
Utilization of pulverized plastic in cement concrete as fine aggregateeSAT Journals
Abstract Disposal of used Plastics is a major problem in the present era, as the usage of plastics is growing day by day and it takes hundreds of years for plastic material to degrade. So effective ways to recycle & reuse of plastics are being formulated. According to their composition, plastics have been classified into seven types each having their own recycle rate. One such type HDPE (High Density Polyethylene) was taken into consideration as it was easily available & had higher density than other types. The used plastics were collected , ground into smaller components , melted & pulverized in order to get granules of plastic of about 1mm size. The density of the Pulverized plastic was found to be 460 kg/m3 & its specific gravity was 0.46. Sieve analyses were carried out & about 75% of the plastics were found to be in the range of 1 -1.7mm. 45 nos. of 15cm x15cm x15cm cement concrete Cubes of 1:1:2 (M 25) mix were cast for 0% ,25% , 50% , 75% , 100 % sand being replaced with Pulverized plastic material. Volumetric proportioning was adopted instead of design mix since the density of plastic material was too low. Workability test, weight and compressive strength of the cubes were determined. The test results revealed that the yield as well as the ultimate strength of concrete at seventh day decreased by about 3 to 3.2 N/mm2 for 25%replacement & 4 to 6.5 N/mm2 for higher replacements of Plastic when compared to conventional concrete The ultimate as well as the yield strength of concrete at 14th day & 28th day decreased by about 0.2 to 1 N/mm2for 25%replacement & 9.1 to 14.6 N/mm2 for higher replacements of Plastic when compared to conventional concrete The water Cement ratio was also found to increase with the proportion of Plastics for a slump of 10 mm & weight of the cube decreased with an increase in replacement of Sand by Plastic Material. Thus it is inferred that Replacement of sand by plastic up to 25% can be adopted so that disposal of used plastic can be done as well the deficiency of Natural aggregates can be managed effectively.

In today’s fast-changing business environment, it’s extremely important to be able to respond to client needs in the most effective and timely manner. If your customers wish to see your business online and have instant access to your products or services.
Online Grocery Store is an e-commerce website, which retails various grocery products. This project allows viewing various products available enables registered users to purchase desired products instantly using Paytm, UPI payment processor (Instant Pay) and also can place order by using Cash on Delivery (Pay Later) option. This project provides an easy access to Administrators and Managers to view orders placed using Pay Later and Instant Pay options.
In order to develop an e-commerce website, a number of Technologies must be studied and understood. These include multi-tiered architecture, server and client-side scripting techniques, implementation technologies, programming language (such as PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and MySQL relational databases. This is a project with the objective to develop a basic website where a consumer is provided with a shopping cart website and also to know about the technologies used to develop such a website.
This document will discuss each of the underlying technologies to create and implement an e- commerce website.
CFD Simulation of By-pass Flow in a HRSG module by R&R Consult.pptxR&R Consult
CFD analysis is incredibly effective at solving mysteries and improving the performance of complex systems!
Here's a great example: At a large natural gas-fired power plant, where they use waste heat to generate steam and energy, they were puzzled that their boiler wasn't producing as much steam as expected.
R&R and Tetra Engineering Group Inc. were asked to solve the issue with reduced steam production.
An inspection had shown that a significant amount of hot flue gas was bypassing the boiler tubes, where the heat was supposed to be transferred.
R&R Consult conducted a CFD analysis, which revealed that 6.3% of the flue gas was bypassing the boiler tubes without transferring heat. The analysis also showed that the flue gas was instead being directed along the sides of the boiler and between the modules that were supposed to capture the heat. This was the cause of the reduced performance.
Based on our results, Tetra Engineering installed covering plates to reduce the bypass flow. This improved the boiler's performance and increased electricity production.
It is always satisfying when we can help solve complex challenges like this. Do your systems also need a check-up or optimization? Give us a call!
Work done in cooperation with James Malloy and David Moelling from Tetra Engineering.
