Universal Health Care Essay
Crafting an essay on the subject of universal health care is both challenging and multifaceted.
The complexity lies in navigating through a myriad of perspectives, political considerations, and
ethical dimensions associated with the healthcare system. One must delve into the historical
context, analyze the current state of health care worldwide, and explore the various models and
approaches employed by different countries.
Researching this topic demands a comprehensive understanding of health economics, policy
analysis, and an awareness of the cultural and social factors that influence health care systems.
As the discourse around universal health care is often deeply rooted in political ideologies, it
requires a delicate balance in presenting unbiased information while addressing the inherent
controversies.
Moreover, formulating a coherent thesis and organizing the essay in a logical manner pose
additional challenges. The writer must adeptly synthesize information from diverse sources to
build a compelling argument, and at the same time, avoid oversimplification of a complex issue.
The task is not merely about compiling facts but requires critical thinking and the ability to
articulate a nuanced stance.
Addressing potential counterarguments and rebuttals adds another layer of difficulty.
Anticipating opposing viewpoints and providing a well-founded response demands a keen
understanding of the nuances within the discourse.
In conclusion, writing an essay on universal health care demands more than just the ability to
articulate ideas; it necessitates a deep dive into the intricacies of health systems, a nuanced grasp
of diverse perspectives, and the skill to construct a well-reasoned argument. The challenge lies
not only in presenting information but in doing so with intellectual rigor, clarity, and a sensitivity
to the complexities inherent in the topic.

Professional Air Traffic Control
Professional Air Traffic Control

Abstract
Air Traffic Control (ATC) in the United States consists of roughly 25,000 air traffic
controllers working in the National Airspace System (2014 controller workforce
plan). These 25,000 controllers consist of both civilian and military personnel. This
essay examines paths to entry into air traffic control, recent trends, costs and
predictions for the future of ATC in the National Airspace System. In 2014 the FAA
underwent the most significant change in hiring procedures since the Air Traffic
Collegiate Training Initiative (AT CTI) was introduced. The new FAA hiring methods

FAA Air Traffic Control To be hired as an FAA air traffic controller a potential
candidate must meet the minimum following requirements: be a United States
citizen, start the FAA Academy in Oklahoma City, OK for training no later than
their 31st birthday, hold a class II FAA medical and, pass a background check,
have three years of progressively responsible work experience, or a bachelors
degree, or a combination of post secondary education and work experience that
totals three years, pass the FAA air traffic pre employment tests. ( Aviation careers,
2014). These hiring requirement have recently changed. Prior to January 2014 the
FAA required candidates to either have prior experience in air traffic control, be a
graduate of an AT CTI school or be a small percentage of off the street hires, all of
which would have to pass the AT SAT air traffic control aptitude test. While the AT
SAT is still administered in a different form, potential controllers must first pass the
new biographical questionnaire. This questionnaire claims to select the most
qualified potential controllers based on research from currently successful certified
practicing controllers, or CPCs. Under the current hiring processes from the FAA,
once a candidate passes the biographical questionnaire they are scheduled to take the
AT SAT. If the candidate passes the AT SAT they will then start at the FAA Academy.

In Following Their Every Move: An Investigation of Social Class Differences In
College Pathways the author Sara Goldrick Rab (2014) explores the growth not only
in the number of higher educational institutions but in diverse student populations.
This growth has changed the ways students attend or transition into the college
experience. Goldrick Rab (2014) cites a statistic from MCCromick (2003) that really
surprised me that states today, 47 percent to 50 percent of undergraduates who begin
at a four year college attend more then one institution within six years, and 15 percent

Mamiseishvili Koch (2014) cite 60% of college students with disabilities attended
institutions with two year programs or programs of less then two years of duration
(p. 412). Something that really surprised me with the results was how out of a sample
of 890 students with disabilities the most frequently reported were orthopedic or
mobility impairment with 22% and those with emotional or psychiatric conditions
were third with 11.6%. Mamiseishvili Koch (2014) mention how it was hard to
determine reasons why the students in the samples didn t receive accommodations.
One reason in the postsecondary context they provided was how at many institutions
it s the students responsibility to request the services and provide documentation.

Hard Rock Returns to Prison from the Hospital for the Criminal Insane is a poem
by Knight, Etheridge. The poem is centered on a heroic character named Hard
Rock. Knight s poem is an allegory of oral tradition. The author depicts Hard Rock
as a legend to all inmates, as his exploits are well known among the inmates.
Because of his defiance, Hard Rock is sent to a Hospital for the Criminal Insane.
When he comes back, Hard Rock has been lobotomized and changed into a different
man. He is not the strong prisoner the other inmates have heard of, he is a shell of
what he used to be with no sight. The poem is just about a hero falling after a
lobotomyprocedure. The authorities used lobotomy to tame Hard Rock s rebellion
and this was not right.... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Knight s poem Hard Rock Returns to Prison from the Hospital for the Criminal
Insane offers a glance of a panopticist disciplinary regime in an American Prison.
The author shows how inmates internalize a mode of surveillance of watching
their folklore hero Hard Rock, and making assumptions of their condition basing
on his actions and behavior. In the beginning, the author writes, Hard Rock was
known not to take no shit from nobody (Knight line1 2). The inmates had heard of
Hard Rock through word of mouth and they say that they are waiting to witness if
the word is true. According to the word, they found in prison, Hard Rock could not
be tamed, and they waited to associate with his character. Nevertheless, the word
changes because, when he returns from the Hospital for the Criminal Insane, Hard
Rock is not what the inmates had been told. He is a hopeless man subject to
lobotomy as a punishment of defiance. Hard Rock had no eyes, and was powerless
and as the prisoners watched him, they felt hopeless. Knight writes that, Hard Rock
was disposed of his power after being deprived of his eyesight and reduced to
nothing through the labotomy process and instead of being a hero as before; he was
made into an object of pity by the inmates. The inmates were crushed after what they
saw what Hard Rock had been reduced to. Knight Writes that, the inmate turned away
their eyes on the ground, Crushed ( Stanza 5, line 4).Their hero was now

The Banking Concept Of Teaching By Paulo Freire
At one point in our lives we have dealt with a certain class that we just absolutely
detested and we have also experience a class we enjoyed. Many times I blamed my
dislike for a class on the subject or on the teacher;however, Paulo Freire describes the
styles that cause you to enjoy or hate a class. One method Freire discusses is the
banking concept saying, His task is to fill the student with the contents of his
narration contents which are detached from reality...Words are emptied of their
concreteness and become hollow, alienated, and alienating verbosity. The banking
concept of teaching involves the teacher playing the role of the master and the
student end up with the role of the slave . Teachers provided the students with the
information they must know but they don t show them how to adapt that information
to the real world. On the other hand Freire mention problem posing teaching method
saying, The teacher is no longer merely the one who teaches, ... They become jointly
responsible for a process in which all grow... People teach other, mediate by the
world, by the cognizable object which is banking educationare owned by the teacher.
When it comes to problem posing Freire believes it gives student a more welcoming
environment for students to learn and grow, including teachers. During my high
school experience I experience both methods and they truly shaped the way teacher
and students interact and how it affect the students reality. When discussing the
2000 Electoral Case Study
In the 2000 election, George W. Bush and Al Gore were competing for a spot as the
president of the United States. It was very shocking that George won the election
even though Al Gore received more popular votes than Bush did. Approximately, Al
received about 540,000 more than Bush nationally. Do you think that Al Gore would
have won the electionif it wasn t for the Electoral College? In presidential campaigns,
the campaigners strive to increase their most presidential electors, a candidate who
wins the popular vote will also receive the majority of the electoral votes. Al Gore
had over half a million votes than George did, but Bush was awarded by the state by
popular votes. This means that the candidate who wins the state by popular votes
I Am Sam Movie Review
I am Sam I am Sam is a 2001 American drama film written and directed by Jessie
Nelson, starring Sean Penn as Sam who has an intellectual disability that had sole
care for his daughter Lucy Diamond played by Dakota Fanning. The two of them
encounter problems with the Department of Child and Family Services as they
believe the presence of Sam s intellectual disability negates his ability to parent. A
lawyer Rita Harrison played by Michelle Pfeiffer plays an important role in this
film as she is the only one to have belief in Sam s ability to parent. This M rated
film has won awards such as the Stanley Kramer award for their ability to place an
emphasis on social concerns. People with disabilities are often discriminated
against the rest of society as a result of their impairments. Jessie Nelson s use of
mis en scene and semiotic elements engage the members of the audience to
position them to have their own perspective of Sam s situation as presented. The
scene that I have chosen to analyse approaches the climax of the film where
problems begin to arise between Sam and Lucy as the department of Child and
Family Services believe Sam is an unfit parent. This has come to attention as Lucy
is becoming smarter surpassing Sam s intellectual ability. Although Sean Penn is far
from being limited in his ability to express himself, he was able to convey such a
condition with precise detail used in his body expressions and dialogue in a complex
manner. This would not have been

A Reflection Of Remember The Titans
This is a reflection of two movies I viewed which I feel has connections to classes
that I received while attending Warrant Officer Intermediate Level Education
(WOILE). The two movies I chose to watch and pull my inspiration from are
Remember the Titans, a movie based on a true story from the early 70 s and my
second choice was The Replacements, a fiction comedy. Both movies reflect on
leadership and teambuilding, but first, let us get a little background on the two movies.
Remember the Titans, tells the story of a newly integrated high school football team.
It takes place in 1971 in the city of Alexandria, Virginia at T. C. Williams High School
. When the school board decides to consolidate and integrate all the schools in the
district, T. C. Williams finds itself caught up in the middle of racial tensions as both
blacks and whites are now attending the same school. Tension builds even more when
the current head coach, Bill Yoast, a white coach, is told by the school board that he
must step down to assistant coach to make way for the newly appointed head coach,
Herman Boone, a black coach. The movie focusses around the football team as both
blacks and whites lean to put aside their race and their differences to come together
to achieve a common goal, and that is to win.
The second movie, The Replacements, is a fictional comedy about a football team
of replacement players put together when the primary team goes on strike. The
team, built from a vast array of cultural backgrounds must learn to come together in
order to win three of the final four games of the season to make it to the playoffs. At
first, they are unorganized and have no clear direction, but that soon changes after a
bar brawl that lands the whole team in jail.
Both movies reflect how weak and/or strong leadership can effect a team and its
mission, in this case, the mission is to win games and move onto the
championships. When coaches Boone Yoast first come together their leadership
styles as well as their respect for each other clash. When the team arrives at their
training camp, Coach Boone gets to work quickly by setting a high set of standards
and expectations ( drop a pass, run a mile, miss a tackle, run a mile ) . This does
Breast Ptosis Essay
Breast ptosis is the medical term for drooping/sagging breasts. Breasts begin to
droop for a variety of reasons, including aging, gravity, genetics, pregnancy, vigorous
exercising and weight loss. Today, advancements in the field of plastic surgery have
made addressing this issue possible. Dr. Farbod Esmailian is a double board certified
plastic surgeon in Los Alamitos who frequently performs mastopexy procedures
(breastlift surgery) to address sagging breasts. Dr. Esmailian s skill, experience and
expertise allow him to provide women in Orange County with more youthful looking
breasts.

An incision is made around the edge of the areola, down to the breast crease and then
along the breast crease itself (horizontally). Dr. Esmailian removes the excess skin
and uses internal sutures to lift, shape and support the remaining breast tissue. This
technique is used when a woman has severely drooping breasts. In addition, this
anchor incision technique is the preferred method when Dr. Esmailian is performing
a breast reduction and breast lift, simultaneously.
Crescent Lift To perform a crescent lift, Dr. Esmailian creates an incision that runs
along the outer edge of the upper portion of the areola. Typically, this incision is used
when a woman has minimal sagging. Moreover, this is the incision technique utilized
when a woman is having a breast augmentation with a lift.
Periareolar Lift A donut shaped incision is created along the edge of the areola. The
skin that remains is pulled inward and then reattached to the areola/nipple. This
approach is ideal for women who have mild/moderate sagging.
All the sutures that Dr. Esmailian uses are absorbable: Therefore, you will not need to

Chemical Engineering Career Fair Report
Going to the NCSU Engineering Career Fair was both an intimidating and exciting
experience. As a freshman with a Chemical Engineering Intent looking at
companies, I was very intimidated yet intrigued by the mass amount of companies
represented at the career fair. Investigating the companies prior to the career fair, I
narrowed my list down to three chemical engineering companies: EcoLab, Merck,
and GSK. EcoLab was the first company I talked to. The company focuses on
providing clean water, sustainable energy, and safe food to the market through
research and development. Their summer recruiting was taking place at the career
fair. They took my resume and said they would send out an email in the evening for
prospective internship interviews that would take place the following day. Since I did
not receive an email from them, I presume that it is not possible for me to get an
internship position with them for this upcoming summer. Like many other companies
that were represented at the career fair, they mainly were looking to recruit
upperclassmen (juniors and seniors). If given the opportunity, I would like to intern

Although it seemed that most companies were seeking to recruit upperclassmen with
experience, it was comforting to know that there will be many options available once
I gain more experience. Additionally, it was very interesting to see how many
different applications one engineering degree has. For example, with a chemical
engineering degree, one can go into producing more sustainable methods of dealing
with waste, manufacturing drugs and other healthcare products to go into the market,
or researching new vaccines and antibiotics. By going to the career fair, I became
more comfortable with my intended major of chemical engineering and learned that
regardless of which chemical engineering concentration I pursue, there will always be
options open in the job

The Brooklyn Dodgers started him at first base on April 15, 1947, breaking the
color line. The Dodgers, by playing Robinson, announced the end of racial
segregation that had relegated black players, to the Negro leagues in the 1880s. At
the beginning of Robinson s career, his will was tested. The racial slurs and chants
got to Robinson, but nothing stopped him from playing the game he loved. Robinson
s family received threats and he was asked not to fight back when confronted with
racism. During one infamous game, the Philadelphia Phillies shouted derogatory
terms at Robinson from their dugout. Many players on opposing teams threatened not

but Dodgers manager, Leo Durocher, informed them that he would sooner trade them

Business Intelligence Essay
Gaining a competitive edge through better business intelligence
Optimizing data to drive innovation, boost efficiency, and accelerate decision making
With information streaming in from a seemingly endless array of applications and
devices, organizations face the daunting task of extracting insights from new data
sources and types, including structured and unstructured sources. There s also the
challenge of the speed in which data is coming in and how quickly you need to be
able to capitalize on it. In this environment, competitive advantage hinges not only on
your capacity to access data quickly, but your ability to analyze and act upon this
information in a timely manner.

If you are running reports in different systems, trying to understand all the
connections between the various data sets, you are likely gaining only a small sliver
of the insight you could be getting by applying business intelligence capabilities
across your data sources. If your data can t tell you which of your business units are
performing well or struggling, or provide clear, actionable insights, then you aren t
fully grasping the full scope of why business intelligence is important.
Once you begin exploiting BI capabilities to work with multiple data sources, you ll
discover how easy it is to add other data sources to the mix, with seemingly endless
options to the insights you can gain. Core tasks like distributing and collecting
information from different managers, consolidating multiple spreadsheets, creating
organizational plans, and debugging broken formulas, will suddenly become
substantially easier.
Many businesses plow forward using inferior tools because they re not sure why or
how business intelligence tools deliver value. The beauty of business intelligence is
that it improves your ability to identify trends and opportunities, uncover new
insights, and refine and enhance operations to achieve business goals. Ultimately, if
you don t have easy access to the right information, evidence based decision making
is impossible.

Hoarding Research Papers
Compulsive hoarding I ve always had trouble throwing things away. Magazines,
newspapers, old clothes... What if I need them one day? I don t want to risk
throwing something out that might be valuable. The large piles of stuff in our house
keep growing so it s difficult to move around and sit or eat together as a family. My
husband is upset and embarrassed, and we get into horrible fights. I m scared when
he threatens to leave me. My children won t invite friends over, and I feel guilty that
the clutter makes them cry. But I get so anxious when I try to throw anything away. I
don t know what s wrong with me, and I don t know what to do. Hoarding is clinical
syndrome that affects millions of people across the United States. This disorder can
have devastating consequences not only for the individual struggling with this
condition but also to those close to them and the community. Clutter in the homes of
people with hoarding problems is extremely disorganized resulting in unhealthy and
hazardous living conditions. Individuals with compulsive hoarding problems show
lack of awareness of the severity of their behavior. They deny the problem, resist help
that is offered to them, and fail to follow through with treatments. Contemporary

National Security Agency Vs NSA
In 2013, a man named Edward Snowden ignited a national debate by revealing that
our National Security Agency, or the NSA, has been gathering mass amounts of
phone records and other, private, data without consulting the American public. That
means American emails, chats, phone calls, online transactions, web searches, or
even online medical records can and have be stolen by the government without
consent. Using decryption methods, court orders, supercomputers, and technical
tricks, the NSA is slowly gaining ground on its war on encryption. All of these things

In the article, they discuss how the NSA has overreached and cracked much of the
online encryption relied upon by hundreds of millions of people to protect the
privacy of their personal data, online transactions and emails (Ball). Throughout the

by trying to win a war on encryption. They even reveal that the NSA is even
coercing some unnamed technology companies and Internet Service Providers to
cooperate with their demands and hand over keys or create backdoors. According to
the NSA, this is the price of admission for the US to maintain unrestricted access to
and use of cyberspace (Ball). Yet, at the same time they are effectively undermining
the security of different networks. Additionally, the article NSA Able to Foil Basic

Effects Of Stress On Fetal Development
Research into the effects of stress on fetal development first began in the mid
1950s (Wadhwa, 2005). Stress is an overarching term that can cover different areas
and is something that is ever present in life, it can be acute and therefore only be
small, or it can have serious effects on individual s health and become chronic
(desAnges Cruser, Hall, Jones, Mummert, Mummert and Podawiltz, 2012). In
relation to this essay stress is when our mental and physical state can be distressed
by a reaction to a certain stimulus. When people react to these stimuli hormones are
released (adrenaline and cortisol) and these move through the body causing a change
in people s states. Stimuli that can cause this reaction are known as stressors and...

Using a model in this way allows psychologists to investigate processes in ways
that would not be allowed in a human because of the harmful effects that would be
considered unethical (Shapiro, 1998). Using these models a range of effects of
stress on fetal development have been discovered, these include: early birth, weight
loss, and developmental problems in the early years of a child s life such as
talking, social and growth problems. This essay will discuss these effects with
reference to both human and non human animal models. The advantages and
disadvantages of both models of data will be analysed with a decision being made as
to which is the best model to assess the effects that stress can have on the
development of the fetus both prenatally (before birth) and postnatally (after birth).
The idea that maternal psychological distress has deleterious effects on the fetus is
very focused on today. Both human and animal models can tell us a range of things.
Human models are helpful at providing longitudinal data, which can help with long
term intervening methods. There are a large amount of reviews that indicate women
who express greater distress during pregnancy give birth to babies earlier, that are
lighter than normal and have a higher tendency to develop mental and physical
problems later in life, than those who do not experience as much stress (DiPietro,
2004). Wadhwa, Sandman, Porto, Dunkel Schetter and Garite (1993) conducted a

The Role Of Friar Lawrence In Shakespeare s Romeo And
Juliet
In the Shakespearean classic, Romeo and Juliet, published for modern use by the
Folger Shakespeare Library, William Shakespeare, the writer of the tragedy, makes
statements about social interactions during a period of time so that they may be
recorded historically in an intriguing way. The focus of the excerpt is on the
speech and recollection of Friar Lawrence s perspective of the events that have
taken place. Romeo has just discovered Juliet unconscious and ends his life for
Juliet, who soon awakens and finds her lover dead, and ends her life to be reunited

How Does Chris Mccandless Escape Reality In Into The
Wild
Everyone thinks about escaping from something in their life. Whether it is a test
or something as big as reality, Chris McCandless was not an exception. He not only
wanted to escape reality and its standards, he also wanted to escape the situations
of his family. In Into the Wild, Chris McCandless was a refugee from not only the
civilized world, but also his own circumstances, because he escaped his old society
that he believed to be a prison and hitched rides to find refuge in the American
wilderness. Chris had never been fond of authority throughout his life and he had
always been looking for a way to get out of it. Chris thought it was a stupid rule and
decided to ignore it. He did his lab reports, but not in the correct format, so the
teacher gave him an F (109). Clearly, even at a young age, Chris never liked having
directions or rules given to him, because he believed that people should live by
their own rules, not somebody else s. He believed that people were not truly happy
when they were living in ways that were set by society and that they were not
completely true to themselves because of it. He also believed that people were just
simply existing in this world and that they were not seeking out their entire potentials.

Article Review On The Wall
Article Review: To Wall Or Not To Wall.
Immigration has always been a controversial issue in almost every society.
Consequently, the choices a society faces about whether to allow an influx of people
into their surroundings results in many conclusions being made. The article To Wall
Or Not To Wall by Jonah Goldberg, a conservative commentator, discusses whether
the United States should or shouldn t build a wall around its borders so as to prevent
illegal immigration. The author expresses his indecision regarding whether we
should do one or the other. Although building a wall is necessary if a majority of the
public supports it, i believe not building a wall has more merits than building one
upon a clear comparison of the two.
The author discusses both the positive and negative consequences that could arise
if America builds a wall or not. Goldberg is split between the possibly negative
perception of America globally, if a wall is constructed saying it would change the
narrative of this country in a significant way and send a terrible signal to the world
of a fortress America. and the definition of what a nation really is, if we don t have
a border. The author also criticizes opponents (liberals who say building a wall will
be too expensive), saying that they are the champions of spending on public projects
and hence the cost is not really their motive. Eventually the author concludes by
failing to take a stance on which argument is more

should keep doing some things the traditional way so they will not be forgotten. By

Satirizing News Shows
In recent years, political comedies, especially those satirizing news programs, have
risen in popularity. Shows like The Daily Show, The Colbert Report, Last Week
Tonight, and The Nightly Show have had a huge impact on mainstream America.
Because of their comedic nature, these shows can get away with addressing taboo
topics in opinionated manners. Furthermore, their audiences are less likely to be
defensive because their message is displayed in a humorous way. Therefore, these
programs have a significant amount of power when it comes to influencing the
political sphere. Serious news networks often cover topics that are safe. Reporters
try to avoid controversy by not addressing controversial topics or by removing
anything possibly offensive. Thus, even if touchy topics shown, no revolutionary
viewpoints are shared. Satirical news programs, on the other hand, follow no such
guidelines. They can address topics such as transgender rights, the death penalty, and
police brutality. Unlike other reporters, comedians feel no such need to represent
both sides of an argument. In topics like climate change, parody news shows do not
represent the one percent of scientists that don t believe in global warming on the...

How Did The Progressive Era Affect The Economy
The Progressive Era provided a much needed counterbalance to the economic boom
in the United States in the couple of decades prior. It provided a significant increase
in regulations to the industries that were running rampant with corruption during the
Gilded Age that had not been regulated by the government prior to this era. This
helped protect the workers from abuses in the workplace and also gave workers
increased protections while at work. The Progressive Erapermanently changed the
American culture by having the federal government start to play a major role in the
regulation of private businesses to protect workers and consumers. The Gilded Age

Rappaccini s Daughter, By Susanna Rowson
Literature has historically been a means of passing traditions down, providing
entertainment, inspiring creative ideas, and transferring knowledge through several
generations. In society, literature can be embraced for its innovation or condemned
for the values it intently expresses against societal, political, and even religious
views. Social criticism in literature is meant to directly or subtly call out the flaws in
the social structure in an attempt to create awareness or evoke reforms. Many literary
works invent characters who either gladly embrace gender and sexuality norms or are
predisposed to them and live unconsciously, but are ultimately ruined in the end as a
means to show the issue with definitive terms that categorize individuals. In 1791,
British American novelist Susanna Rowson published her novelCharlotte Temple in

Mozart vs. Beethoven In the 18th century, the middle class made a lot more money.
During the Classical Period, the middle class had a tremendous influence on music.
They wanted to hear concertos and symphonies. They wanted their children to learn
great music and play instruments. The composers began writing music that was
geared towards the middle class because they could make a better living if they
enjoyed the music being played. They wrote music that was easier for their students
to understand and play. Serious music changed into comic operas, or popular folk
tunes, and dance music. This was a good thing it shaped dance and music forever.

At the age of eight, he wrote a symphony and at eleven, he wrote an oratorio. Then,
at the age of twelve he wrote a great opera. Mozart s father was Leopold Mozart,
who happened to be a court musician. Both Mozart and Beethoven had help from
their fathers in many different ways. Mozart s father helped him travel around as a
young musician and he traveled many places and he seen many well known people
and aristocrats. Because of Mozart s early successes many challenges had become
part of his life. He had very high expectations from the community and from his
father. Unlike, Beethoven, Mozart was spoiled as a youth and because of this he
refused to be treated as a servant. He completely relied on his father s help and
refused to work with the archbishop. This would become a problem later when
Mozart did not develop enough initiative. Because of that he could not make
decisions on his own.
Then at age 25, Mozart broke free from Salzburg and became a great freelance
musician in Vienna. This is where Mozart found and started some of his success.
Mozart earned his living giving lessons to people and holding concerts. Mozart
later wrote his piece Don Giovanni and then The marriage of Figaro and these
were great pieces for his time. Eventually, Mozart s popularity disapeared and his
music was found to be very complicated and hard to follow. Mozart s music was
very versatile and his masterpieces had been in many forms. His piano concertos

Beowulf Is An Interesting Text
Beowulf is an interesting text. The author is unknown. A little about the text is that
it is the longest surviving, old English poem that is cited as one of the most
important works from the old English literature. We don t even know the full title.
We know very little about how this poem came to be but we know that some of the
things we take out of it can still be seen today. It was a poem based off of the Anglo
Saxonsand how they saw their people and how they would risk everything to save
their country. The main guy in this play is called Beowulfand he starts big things in
this poem like getting individual recognition. There are 3 things that motivate
Beowulf s actions.
The first thing that motivated Beowulf and what he did was the glory that he will
receive. Back in the Anglo Saxon time the one thing that everyone tried to get was
glory. Beowulf started out as a nobody in some other kingdom and he was told that
one of the nicest halls was not even being occupied because of this man eating
monster called Grendel. So he feels up to the challenge to go and kill this monster.
Beowulf gets the land of Roth the king of the Danes and is really respected full to
him and Beowulf introduces himself as a worthy warrior to fight the beast. Beowulf
not only defeats Grendel, but he does it with his bare hands. He tricks the monster
and ends up ripping the monster s arm off. The monster goes away and dies where
he lives and Beowulf hangs the monsters arm up in the rafters to show
Persuasive Essay On Adoption
No not all couples can have a child to love and raise but there is a great opportunity
for them to have a child to love and care for, and that is call adoption. People adopt
children for so many reason. It provides a possibility for an unwanted child to have a
home and be loved and had a happy life. There are so many people adopted and that
has changed their life. Don t you wonder where Steve Jobs, Jamie Foxx, and Babe
Ruth would be if they weren t adopted? And I do wonder where I would be if I wasn
t adopted.
One reason why people choose to adopt is because they are unable to conceive kids,
or because they have had miscarriages and don t want to risk losing their child again.
Some might adopt stepchildren or children of family members who aren t financially
stable to support their child.
The adoption process can be very long. There is a 10 step process from the NAC
(National Adoption Center) website that states that step number one is to learn
about adoption. The next step is to choose an adoption agency. Step number three
is having a home study completed. Number four is trying to find a child, and then
give your info to the child s agency. After you get info about the child you chose
then you can go meet the child. Step number eight is to get a date where you can
actually receive the child. Next you can finalize everything with the adoption. The
final step is to live a happy life.
There are 2 different types of adoption. One is international, and the next is

The Controversy Of Selling Counterfeit Products
Ten years ago, it was easy to walk into a store and find fake or knockoff products.
Today, it s much harder to find people and businesses that are selling counterfeit
products. E Commerce sites, such as Amazon and E bay have helped create millions
of such stores online, which is why it s so hard to check for fakes. One storefront gets
shut down and another one opens. Amazon has made it extraordinarily difficult to
enforce against counterfeitproducts. The problem isn t just limited to Amazon though.
E bay, Walmart.com, and Newegg have also been accused of selling counterfeits. All
of the companies say they have strict policies in effect for removing offending
products from their websites, and that they vociferously fight against counterfeits.

something to think about. The first being that humans may after all be closely
related to fish. When first hearing this theory, for anyone it is hard to believe.
Humans have fingers and fishes have fins! They have gills and we have lungs!
Many things point towards the fact that humans have nothing in common with fish
until one looks at the bone structure of each and how exceptionally similar they are.
The reason for the similarity is because both species share a common ancestor. All
animals with limbs have a common design. If a batwing were to be formed from a
person s hand, make the fingers extremely long; a horse elongates the middle
fingers and reduce and lose the outer ones; frogs elongate the bones of the leg and
fuse several of them together. All in all, despite radical changes in what limbs do and
what they look like, this underlying blueprint is always present. Before Tiktaalik was

English Language Learners There are many English Language Learners who may
be at a higher disadvantage because they are learning English as a second language.
Being introduced to any language is a challenging task for all small children;
consequently, students who cannot communicate with any school staff members are
often left behind. Due to the variety of languages in a school setting it would be
difficult to have a dual immersion program set in place. However, in Kern County,
there are many small towns whose population is primarily Spanish speaking. These
town s students are faced with many difficulties as they try to adjust and transition to
English because a lot of their parents do not speak English themselves. Schools with a
high population of Spanish speaking students should offer a dual immersion program
because it will provide their students the necessary tools to become proficient English

Many times, school faculty may feel that incorporating a dual immersion program

Most schools did away their long term bilingual programs, even though, prop 227

The Invention Of The Television And Internet
What exactly is remix? Remix is the creation of a new or derivative piece of art
through the alteration, modification, or transformation of elements of the original.
A remix is a piece of art that may have had items added, appropriated, or removed.
Remix is everywhere and is nothing new in public space. People have been doing
it for hundreds of years by altering paintings and other artistic art pieces. The advent
of new technology and different forms of media have allowed people to remix in
entirely different ways, utilizing new techniques, materials, and ideas. The
popularization of the television and Internet has allowed digital forms of remix,
previously impossible or only attainable for a small niche of the public. Though
Banksy, Electronic Disturbance Theater, and the Yes Men group have taken
advantage of digital forms of remix through different means, the Yes Men group
has remixed public space the best. Artists often put their work in the public
domain or space, but what exactly is that? Public space is just that, locations
accessible to the public with the most general being out on the streets, places
accessible or viewable to anyone without discrimination. They are visible to
anyone who has the means of getting to the place, charges no fees, and is open to
everyone. This type of space encompasses sides of buildings exposed to the street,
parks, and open spaces such as plazas. Another type of public space includes

The Battle At Little Bighorn
Introduction
The battle at Little Bighorn is one of the most talked about battles in American
History. In this paper I will cover the events in history that lead to the battle, the
battle, aftermath and the lessons learned from this battle. Over one hundred years
later it is still one of the most talked about battles in Army history.
History
The battle at Little Bighorn occurred on June 25th 1876 near an Indian camp located
by the Little Bighorn River. The camp was located in the Black Hills not on a
reservation. To fully understand the battle we must first look at what lead to it. The
issues that arose in the eight years leading up to the battle would be the catalyst for
what the battle at Little Bighorn.
To begin in 1868 the Fort Laramie Treaty was signed.
The treaty s intention was to bring an understanding a civil relationship between
the Sioux tribes and the new settlers. The treaty designated land in the Black Hills
for the Native Americans to live and hunt. The land was to be protected from
settler s invasion. The times of amicable living were short lived when in 1874
General Terry sent Lt. Colonel Custer to evaluate the land in the Black Hills and to
find a location for a new Army Fort. On his expedition Lt.Col. Custer discovered
gold. The discovery of gold in the lands protected by the treaty would be the cause of
the ultimate tension between the Native Americans and the U.S government. Custer
sent accounts of the gold discovery to the newspapers,

veterans, after undergoing various combat situations, being cut off from family and

3. From what I ve read, this kind of court is highly successful. In the case of Judge
Robert Russell s original special veteran s court, his court saw (at the time of this
particular article) a 90% success rate without any recidivism. In Hennepin County,
Minnesota, their special veteran s court was found in a study of two years to have
lowered the amount of offenses committed of 83% of the participants six months
after being in the program, as compared to six months before.
One judge noted that working with fellow veterans is particularly helpful to those
going through this special court. Veterans Today found that these programs have very
high success rates, and some programs can have up to a 90% success rate.
4. On Kentucky.gov, it shows that there are two special veterans courts; the first
one in Jefferson County, and the second in Fayette County. I believe that in order
for these courts to continue to function all that they must do is follow the
precedent set by already established courts in the U.S., as on average they have a
very high success rate. One thing I found in common with the articles I read is that
it is important for veterans being put through these kinds of courts to be working
with fellow veterans, and so I think that this should be a big staple for the two
courts in Kentucky to do to help ensure the success of their programs. As one
veteran puts it, you can t talk to a civilian who s never experienced what you have as
Write An Essay On The Ouroboros
As a religion with its unique beliefs and practices, Gnosticism certainly has its own
symbols. The Ouroboros is a Greek word meaning tail devourer, which is an
ancient symbol depicting in the form of a serpent eating its own tail. The symbol is
first seen as early as 1600 years BC in Egypt as a representation of the sun, and in
Gnosticism, it is related to the solar GodAbraxas. The Ouroboros signifies eternity
and the soul of the world. (Token Rock) It is usually drawn in black and white, which
enhances the Gnostic belief of duality. In christianity, the snake is a symbol of
evilness and temptation, whereas Gnostics see it as a liberator who brought
knowledge to Adam and Eve. They honour the snake. Apart from the Ouroboros, the

Summary Of Mildred Levy Four Sons
Rabbi Brent Gutmann Kol Nidrei 5775 Mildred Levy has four sons, all of whom
are extraordinarily wealthy. The only problem for their dear mum Mildred is that
all four of her sons are living in London and she is living in Melbourne. Still, the
brothers are close and they get together occasionally. Not a single one of them able
to make it back for her birthday this year, they decide to meet for lunch in her
honour, and they begin to discuss what they ve bought their mother for her
birthday. Sam proudly tells his brothers, you know how mum loves to get together
with her friends and watch soaps? I just bought her a brand new top of the line flat
screen. Then Michael jumps in, Well, you know how mum loves the water. We ll I
ve bought her a new luxury yacht and I ve paid for a slip right near her home and
her own captain so that whenever she wants to go on the water, she can just drive
on down to the club and go. The third son, David says sarcastically, A Yacht?! What
mum really needed was a new home. I ve bought her a home. Right in Windsor.
Six million Australian dollars. Beautiful. Eight bedrooms, two car garage. Top of
the range, all the way. They look at Jacob. What did you buy mum for her birthday,
Jacob? Meekly, Jacob responded, I ve bought mum a parrot. A parrot?!? They are
surprised. Well, not any ordinary parrot, continued Jacob. This parrot was trained for
ten years as a domestic assistant. It knows how to scrub dishes. To hang laundry. It

Speech On Deodorant
Why Should You Use Natural Deodorants?
Not all deodorants are helpful, others pose harm to the health because of the
chemicals it contain. It is highly important to consider the ingredients before using a
deodorant by making sure it is safe and effective.
Everyday we slather different body products and deodorant is one of them. One must
be extra careful with the product used for the under arms because this area have
many lymph nodes which lie close to the surface of the skin. Deodorants sold in the
market are effective in blocking sweat and killing the bacteria but many of these
brands are loaded with questionable ingredients. Beauty requires sacrifices but health
should not be one of them. Go for a safe alternative and preferably natural ... Show

A Crystal deodorant is making a name in the market nowadays as a safer alternative
than deodorants which can be bought from the supermarket. It is made entirely from
mineral salt and can even come in many different forms like a spray, powder, stick
and stone. Potassium alum is the mineral crystal of choice in a crystal deodorant
since potassium alum is soluble in water.
When applied to the skin, a crystal deodorant leaves no mark, is non sticky and
doesn t have an oily residue on the skin. It is proven to be effective, can provide 24
hour protection, is fragrance free, hypoallergenic and safe for the environment. Now
you too can have that fresh smell all day long without using antiperspirants that claim
they can last for 24 48 hours but contain harsh chemical ingredients with others
claiming they are more effective through movement of the body. I don t know about
you , but to me if something can do this it HAS to contain a heap of super strong
chemicals that can t be good for our health?
The downside of crystal mineral deodorant happened when manufacturers found out
that a synthetic potassium alum can be made without having to endure the agonising
process of mineral extraction. a synthetic mineral is common in mainstream crystal
deodorant and is closely related to ammonium
Eternal Sunshine Belonging
I remember writing a speech in English class in high school about human behavior
on happiness. In this paper I wrote, I think we spend too much time contemplative
on the undesirable certainties of our past and we become so blinded by all the
good things that are happening around us. The song Eternal Sunshine is written by
JhenГЁ Aiko; in this song she reaches out for something more intimate like
disturbing memories hidden deep within her mind. This specific music video takes
you through a series of events from JhenГЁ s past, stressing the presence of
thoughts we put aside when surrounded by people, things we only think about when
we are in a dark place in life, and concealed in eternal thoughts. Throughout the
video, JhenГЁ s body is arising from the ground while her potentially fatal car
accident is vividly reenacted behind her along with good remembrances from her
childhood. Though JhenГЁ Aiko is usually speaking about love and weed that does
not infer that she has not had her fair stake of pain within her personal... Show more

You see throughout the whole video that the background is the street where the
accident happened. JhenГЁ brings in the video with her body slowly uprising
from the bare streets behind her. Though the lighting throughout the video is
frequent, the angle in which JhenГЁ s arising body is shot, gives viewers the
desire to look forward to an unpredictable scene. By this being the introduction to
JhenГЁ s music video, it instantly sets the mood and emotions for the audience. It
was a great introduction to the movie because it made wonder what was going to
happen next. Before the video I had no clue this incident ever occurred in her life.
With Aiko singing, Is it strange for me to say that if I were to die today, there s not
a thing that I would change. I ve lived well, she implies that everything happens for a

Examples Of Personal Narrative
Personal Narrative It was the year of 2013, I was going into 4th grade and school
was just a month away. But it wasn t the 4th grade that I was looking forward to,
because my family was moving to a small town in Wisconsin named Mosinee. I
grew up in a suburb just on the outskirts of the great city known as Chicago. I loved
it there, and wanted to live there for the rest of my life; I guess my parents didn t
exactly feel the same way. Little did I know that this move would shape my
personality and change me in many different ways. And ultimately, to make me a
better person as a whole. When I told my very few friends that I was moving, they
always asked why. I really didn t have an answer and didn t think about it that
much. The day eventually came, and we had all of our stuff was ready, my family
was ready, but I wasn t. I couldn t imagine a life without my normal friends and my
normal school, and didn t realize that this move would be one of the best things that
has ever happened to me.
After we gave our hardest goodbye, I started my journey to my new house. I tried to
stay optimistic, but that was very hard because I new that I wasn t going to get
another friend until school started, which was a month away. I also don t have a

There was one more problem too, while I was friends with Mathias, I didn t have
any other friends. So I made it my mission to find my new Mathias. There was one
kid named Cole Holtz, I told him about how I used to live in Chicago. He found my
story very amusing we hung out more and more. We are still friends to this very
day, and I find it incredible how a small story could spark a great friendship. He
eventually introduced me to his friend named Caden Hrebik. Caden was a shy kid
like I was at the time, so we got along very well. We called ourselves the three
musketeers, and it was the of something great, for

When CAP occurs, it is determined if the need for hospitalisation is necessary as it
depends on the seriousness of the infection. Gram positive organisms such as S.
pneumoniae, naturally occur in the upper respiratory tract, is one cause of lower
respiratory infections such as pneumonia, but is also a culprit in causing upper
respiratory infections like otitis media. H. influenzae is just one of many bacterial
infections that can result in CAP, it therefore can be subacute and present with a low
grade fever and a persistent cough for a few weeks before a patient has a diagnosis.
Adults that have very little or no immunity are an easier target for certain viruses
such as that of the Cytomegalovirus, which is a viral pathogen that is commonly
contracted within the community, other common virus are adenovirus and herpes
simplex. When a virus starts to become acute, it starts an infection within the ciliated
cells within the airway. When pneumonia occurs from this viral infection, the
inflammatory action starts to seep into the alveolar areas and leads to the problem of
excess exudation and oedema within the respiratory tract. It is sometimes often
difficult to differentiate symptoms of a viral pneumonia from that of bacterial

small apartment bedroom. The room does not contain a lot of things; it is empty
except for some few basic properties that make a bedroom. They events of the play

the fact that ... Glen had parked his stuffs in the station , was another of the reasons
his sister was giving in order to convince him to stay with their aunt. This did not
sound as a good idea for Vuthy, to him; there was no reason that substantiated his
staying around with their aunt. He saw all attempts as avenues of leaving him lonely
again, which on realizing this, he fought as much as he could in order to avoid this.
The theme of loneliness is also featured when their mother left them. She died
some time back when Vuthy was still young. In her words, Ra expresses the reason
why she died. She claims that Vuthy made their mother sick through ... being weird
for not having friends (Burroway, 2011). Therefore, she became sick because of

she knew that her brother had friends, Vuthy confesses that they all left and he is
now alone with no one close to him. This has made him equally
Why I Want To Study Gut Microbiology
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE The emergence of new pathogens from food and water,
particularly bacteria, as well as the recurrence of known food pathogens, has received
research attention in Nutrition and Food Science. The unusual dietary pattern and
nutrition affect the microbial population in the human gut (Probiotic), with an ample
effect on the immune system and human health. To understand the interactions of gut
microflora with food and nutrients, and their potential involvement in disease
etiology and human health, novel approaches tailored from various disciplines are
required. The additional concern is the growing number of children who are
overweight and at a risk of obesity, early onset of type 2 diabetes and sedentary
behavior. Taken together... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

These things are all part of ocean city s crazy experience.
After traveling for 3 hours, my family arrived at our beach house in Ocean City
Maryland. After making a quick trip for groceries, we decided to go to bed and set
alarm clocks for early in the morning. After a good nights sleep, I woke up to the
pleasant smell of bacon and eggs. After feasting on a delightful breakfast, my
brothers and I began to get ready for the beach. We went down the creaky wooden
stairs of our beach house and unlocked the storage room located beneath the home. I
decided to carry both of the floral umbrellas while my brothers took the portable
beach chairs. After grabbing all of our gear, we headed back up the weathered stairs
and towards the distant sand dunes. As we approached the entrance of the sand
dunes, the satisfying sounds of the ocean s waves started to become closer and

Universal Health Care Essay.pdf

  • 1. Universal Health Care Essay Crafting an essay on the subject of universal health care is both challenging and multifaceted. The complexity lies in navigating through a myriad of perspectives, political considerations, and ethical dimensions associated with the healthcare system. One must delve into the historical context, analyze the current state of health care worldwide, and explore the various models and approaches employed by different countries. Researching this topic demands a comprehensive understanding of health economics, policy analysis, and an awareness of the cultural and social factors that influence health care systems. As the discourse around universal health care is often deeply rooted in political ideologies, it requires a delicate balance in presenting unbiased information while addressing the inherent controversies. Moreover, formulating a coherent thesis and organizing the essay in a logical manner pose additional challenges. The writer must adeptly synthesize information from diverse sources to build a compelling argument, and at the same time, avoid oversimplification of a complex issue. The task is not merely about compiling facts but requires critical thinking and the ability to articulate a nuanced stance. Addressing potential counterarguments and rebuttals adds another layer of difficulty. Anticipating opposing viewpoints and providing a well-founded response demands a keen understanding of the nuances within the discourse. In conclusion, writing an essay on universal health care demands more than just the ability to articulate ideas; it necessitates a deep dive into the intricacies of health systems, a nuanced grasp of diverse perspectives, and the skill to construct a well-reasoned argument. The challenge lies not only in presenting information but in doing so with intellectual rigor, clarity, and a sensitivity to the complexities inherent in the topic. Mamiseishvili Koch (2014) mention how it was hard to determine reasons why the students in the samples didn t receive accommodations. The poem is centered on a heroic character named Hard Rock. Knight s poem is an allegory of oral tradition. The author depicts Hard Rock as a legend to all inmates, as his exploits are well known among the inmates. Because of his defiance, Hard Rock is sent to a Hospital for the Criminal Insane. When he comes back, Hard Rock has been lobotomized and changed into a different man. He is not the strong prisoner the other inmates have heard of, he is a shell of what he used to be with no sight. Knight s poem Hard Rock Returns to Prison from the Hospital for the Criminal Insane offers a glance of a panopticist disciplinary regime in an American Prison. The author shows how inmates internalize a mode of surveillance of watching their folklore hero Hard Rock, and making assumptions of their condition basing on his actions and behavior. In the beginning, the author writes, Hard Rock was known not to take no shit from nobody (Knight line1 2). The inmates had heard of Hard Rock through word of mouth and they say that they are waiting to witness if the word is true. According to the word, they found in prison, Hard Rock could not be tamed, and they waited to associate with his character. Nevertheless, the word changes because, when he returns from the Hospital for the Criminal Insane, Hard Rock is not what the inmates had been told. He is a hopeless man subject to lobotomy as a punishment of defiance. Hard Rock had no eyes, and was powerless and as the prisoners watched him, they felt hopeless. Knight writes that, Hard Rock was disposed of his power after being deprived of his eyesight and reduced to nothing through the labotomy process and instead of being a hero as before; he was made into an object of pity by the inmates. The inmates were crushed after what they saw what Hard Rock had been reduced to. Knight Writes that, the inmate turned away their eyes on the ground, Crushed ( Stanza 5, line 4).Their hero was now

  • 6. The Banking Concept Of Teaching By Paulo Freire At one point in our lives we have dealt with a certain class that we just absolutely detested and we have also experience a class we enjoyed. Many times I blamed my dislike for a class on the subject or on the teacher;however, Paulo Freire describes the styles that cause you to enjoy or hate a class. One method Freire discusses is the banking concept saying, His task is to fill the student with the contents of his narration contents which are detached from reality...Words are emptied of their concreteness and become hollow, alienated, and alienating verbosity. The banking concept of teaching involves the teacher playing the role of the master and the student end up with the role of the slave . Teachers provided the students with the information they must know but they don t show them how to adapt that information to the real world. On the other hand Freire mention problem posing teaching method saying, The teacher is no longer merely the one who teaches, ... They become jointly responsible for a process in which all grow... People teach other, mediate by the world, by the cognizable object which is banking educationare owned by the teacher. When it comes to problem posing Freire believes it gives student a more welcoming environment for students to learn and grow, including teachers. During my high school experience I experience both methods and they truly shaped the way teacher and students interact and how it affect the students reality. When discussing the

I Am Sam Movie Review I am Sam I am Sam is a 2001 American drama film written and directed by Jessie Nelson, starring Sean Penn as Sam who has an intellectual disability that had sole care for his daughter Lucy Diamond played by Dakota Fanning. The two of them encounter problems with the Department of Child and Family Services as they believe the presence of Sam s intellectual disability negates his ability to parent. A lawyer Rita Harrison played by Michelle Pfeiffer plays an important role in this film as she is the only one to have belief in Sam s ability to parent. This M rated film has won awards such as the Stanley Kramer award for their ability to place an emphasis on social concerns. People with disabilities are often discriminated against the rest of society as a result of their impairments. Jessie Nelson s use of mis en scene and semiotic elements engage the members of the audience to position them to have their own perspective of Sam s situation as presented. The scene that I have chosen to analyse approaches the climax of the film where problems begin to arise between Sam and Lucy as the department of Child and Family Services believe Sam is an unfit parent. This has come to attention as Lucy is becoming smarter surpassing Sam s intellectual ability. Although Sean Penn is far from being limited in his ability to express himself, he was able to convey such a condition with precise detail used in his body expressions and dialogue in a complex manner. • 10. A Reflection Of Remember The Titans This is a reflection of two movies I viewed which I feel has connections to classes that I received while attending Warrant Officer Intermediate Level Education (WOILE). The two movies I chose to watch and pull my inspiration from are Remember the Titans, a movie based on a true story from the early 70 s and my second choice was The Replacements, a fiction comedy. Both movies reflect on leadership and teambuilding, but first, let us get a little background on the two movies. Remember the Titans, tells the story of a newly integrated high school football team. It takes place in 1971 in the city of Alexandria, Virginia at T. C. Williams High School . When the school board decides to consolidate and integrate all the schools in the district, T. C. Williams finds itself caught up in the middle of racial tensions as both blacks and whites are now attending the same school. Tension builds even more when the current head coach, Bill Yoast, a white coach, is told by the school board that he must step down to assistant coach to make way for the newly appointed head coach, Herman Boone, a black coach. The movie focusses around the football team as both blacks and whites lean to put aside their race and their differences to come together to achieve a common goal, and that is to win. The second movie, The Replacements, is a fictional comedy about a football team of replacement players put together when the primary team goes on strike. The team, built from a vast array of cultural backgrounds must learn to come together in order to win three of the final four games of the season to make it to the playoffs. At first, they are unorganized and have no clear direction, but that soon changes after a bar brawl that lands the whole team in jail. Both movies reflect how weak and/or strong leadership can effect a team and its mission, in this case, the mission is to win games and move onto the championships. When coaches Boone Yoast first come together their leadership styles as well as their respect for each other clash. When the team arrives at their training camp, Coach Boone gets to work quickly by setting a high set of standards and expectations ( drop a pass, run a mile, miss a tackle, run a mile ) . This does

Dr. Esmailian removes the excess skin and uses internal sutures to lift, shape and support the remaining breast tissue. This technique is used when a woman has severely drooping breasts. In addition, this anchor incision technique is the preferred method when Dr. Esmailian is performing a breast reduction and breast lift, simultaneously. Crescent Lift To perform a crescent lift, Dr. Esmailian creates an incision that runs along the outer edge of the upper portion of the areola. Typically, this incision is used when a woman has minimal sagging. Moreover, this is the incision technique utilized when a woman is having a breast augmentation with a lift. Periareolar Lift A donut shaped incision is created along the edge of the areola. The skin that remains is pulled inward and then reattached to the areola/nipple. This approach is ideal for women who have mild/moderate sagging. All the sutures that Dr. Esmailian uses are absorbable: Therefore, you will not need to have them

Stress is an overarching term that can cover different areas and is something that is ever present in life, it can be acute and therefore only be small, or it can have serious effects on individual s health and become chronic (desAnges Cruser, Hall, Jones, Mummert, Mummert and Podawiltz, 2012). In relation to this essay stress is when our mental and physical state can be distressed by a reaction to a certain stimulus. When people react to these stimuli hormones are released (adrenaline and cortisol) and these move through the body causing a change in people s states. Stimuli that can cause this reaction are known as stressors and... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Using a model in this way allows psychologists to investigate processes in ways that would not be allowed in a human because of the harmful effects that would be considered unethical (Shapiro, 1998). Using these models a range of effects of stress on fetal development have been discovered, these include: early birth, weight loss, and developmental problems in the early years of a child s life such as talking, social and growth problems. This essay will discuss these effects with reference to both human and non human animal models. The advantages and disadvantages of both models of data will be analysed with a decision being made as to which is the best model to assess the effects that stress can have on the development of the fetus both prenatally (before birth) and postnatally (after birth). The idea that maternal psychological distress has deleterious effects on the fetus is very focused on today. Both human and animal models can tell us a range of things. Human models are helpful at providing longitudinal data, which can help with long term intervening methods. There are a large amount of reviews that indicate women who express greater distress during pregnancy give birth to babies earlier, that are lighter than normal and have a higher tendency to develop mental and physical problems later in life, than those who do not experience as much stress (DiPietro, 2004). Wadhwa, Sandman, Porto, Dunkel Schetter and Garite (1993) conducted a study where they

The focus of the excerpt is on the speech and recollection of Friar Lawrence s perspective of the events that have taken place. Whether it is a test or something as big as reality, Chris McCandless was not an exception. He not only wanted to escape reality and its standards, he also wanted to escape the situations of his family. In Into the Wild, Chris McCandless was a refugee from not only the civilized world, but also his own circumstances, because he escaped his old society that he believed to be a prison and hitched rides to find refuge in the American wilderness. • 23. Article Review On The Wall Article Review: To Wall Or Not To Wall. Immigration has always been a controversial issue in almost every society. Consequently, the choices a society faces about whether to allow an influx of people into their surroundings results in many conclusions being made. The article To Wall Or Not To Wall by Jonah Goldberg, a conservative commentator, discusses whether the United States should or shouldn t build a wall around its borders so as to prevent illegal immigration. The author expresses his indecision regarding whether we should do one or the other. Although building a wall is necessary if a majority of the public supports it, i believe not building a wall has more merits than building one upon a clear comparison of the two. The author discusses both the positive and negative consequences that could arise if America builds a wall or not. Goldberg is split between the possibly negative perception of America globally, if a wall is constructed saying it would change the narrative of this country in a significant way and send a terrible signal to the world of a fortress America. and the definition of what a nation really is, if we don t have a border. The author also criticizes opponents (liberals who say building a wall will be too expensive), saying that they are the champions of spending on public projects and hence the cost is not really their motive. Eventually the author concludes by failing to take a stance on which argument is more

Shows like The Daily Show, The Colbert Report, Last Week Tonight, and The Nightly Show have had a huge impact on mainstream America. Furthermore, their audiences are less likely to be defensive because their message is displayed in a humorous way. Rappaccini s Daughter, By Susanna Rowson Literature has historically been a means of passing traditions down, providing entertainment, inspiring creative ideas, and transferring knowledge through several generations. In society, literature can be embraced for its innovation or condemned for the values it intently expresses against societal, political, and even religious views. Social criticism in literature is meant to directly or subtly call out the flaws in the social structure in an attempt to create awareness or evoke reforms. Many literary works invent characters who either gladly embrace gender and sexuality norms or are predisposed to them and live unconsciously, but are ultimately ruined in the end as a means to show the issue with definitive terms that categorize individuals. The treaty designated land in the Black Hills for the Native Americans to live and hunt. The land was to be protected from settler s invasion. The times of amicable living were short lived when in 1874 General Terry sent Lt. Colonel Custer to evaluate the land in the Black Hills and to find a location for a new Army Fort. • 41. Essay on The Functions and Goals of the Special Veterans ... 1. I chose to cover special veterans courts for this paper. This court was created back in 2008 in Buffalo, New York. It was created by Judge Robert Russell in an effort to help veterans who have broken the law due to the adverse psychological and emotional effects that military service can have upon a service member. Some veterans, after undergoing various combat situations, being cut off from family and friends, and other hardships associated with being in the military, are not able to properly assimilate back into civilian life, if at all. They may resort to drug use or alcoholism to cope, and/or act out in other ways as well. In the various articles of this kind of court I ve read, courts usually require that the veterans offense... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... 3. From what I ve read, this kind of court is highly successful. In the case of Judge Robert Russell s original special veteran s court, his court saw (at the time of this particular article) a 90% success rate without any recidivism. In Hennepin County, Minnesota, their special veteran s court was found in a study of two years to have lowered the amount of offenses committed of 83% of the participants six months after being in the program, as compared to six months before. One judge noted that working with fellow veterans is particularly helpful to those going through this special court. Veterans Today found that these programs have very high success rates, and some programs can have up to a 90% success rate. 4. On Kentucky.gov, it shows that there are two special veterans courts; the first one in Jefferson County, and the second in Fayette County. I believe that in order for these courts to continue to function all that they must do is follow the precedent set by already established courts in the U.S., as on average they have a very high success rate. One thing I found in common with the articles I read is that it is important for veterans being put through these kinds of courts to be working with fellow veterans, and so I think that this should be a big staple for the two courts in Kentucky to do to help ensure the success of their programs. As one veteran puts it, you can t talk to a civilian who s never experienced what you have as

The Ouroboros is a Greek word meaning tail devourer, which is an ancient symbol depicting in the form of a serpent eating its own tail. The symbol is first seen as early as 1600 years BC in Egypt as a representation of the sun, and in Gnosticism, it is related to the solar GodAbraxas. In this paper I wrote, I think we spend too much time contemplative on the undesirable certainties of our past and we become so blinded by all the good things that are happening around us.
