Shoulder impingement syndrome is a progressively worsening condition in many
individuals. The use of a chiropractic adjustment or myofascial dry needling as forms
of treatment are both yet to be differentiated as to which is more beneficial (Fitness
Pain Free. 2016).
The aim of this study is to research the effect of a chiropractic adjustment on the
shoulder and the cervical spine, and compare to dry needling of the shoulder and
cervical musculature.
The research study will include three separate groups that will receive chiropractic
adjustments, dry needling or a combination of the two treatments. The results will
then be evaluated and an outcome will be based on these results as to which
treatment is more effective.

There were several different objectives for this lab. It introduced the
thermomechanical properties of thermoplastics, and provide familiarity with dynamic
mechanical analysis (DMA) of thermoplastics. These DMA results were interpreted
using time temperature superposition (TTS) and the master curve as a design tool,
this could be used to determine the linear viscoelastic range and observe the creep
behaviour of high density polyethylene (HDPE). Gaining familiarity with dynamic
properties of HDPE was also intended for this lab.
Experimental Procedure
The material used for testing was HDPE. Two sample types were used, one
quenched in water and another cooled slowly at a rate of 1В°C per minute.
All testing was carried out using DMA with a cantilever setup. Two different tests
were carried out. For the first test, the HDPE was held at a constant temperature of
31В°C and varying stresses were applied for two seconds at a time, during which the
strain in the sample was recorded.
For the second test, a constant stress of 5MPa was applied while the temperature was
increased inside the furnace of the DMA setup. This was achieved by heating the
sample to one temperature for 10 minutes and holding at that temperature while the
constant stress was applied, then heating again and holding, and so on. Strain was
again recorded at constant time intervals for each temperature.

Othering is where a group of people are treated intrinsically differently to maintain
the social prominence of the in group , Caucasian Canadians in Nova Scotia treated
African Nova Scotians differently to allow themselves to still have control over
African Nova Scotians. Though slavery had been abolished there was still
segregation, racismand discrimination happening to African Nova Scotians. The

racist stereotyping and education being withheld from African Nova Scotians.

In Nova Scotia, African Nova Scotians did not have the same rights as Caucasian
Canadians, these rights that African Nova Scotians were denied of were the right
to vote, employment and even the right to the access of public places dominated
by Caucasians. This overt racism allowed Caucasian Canadians to limit and control
everything African Nova Scotians could and could not do. One of the largest forms
of overt racism to happen within Nova Scotia, Canada was the mistreatment and
destruction of Africville. Africville was a settlement in Bedford Basin, Halifax and
it was founded in 1840 by African refugees and their descendants who came to
Canada. The destruction and mistreatment of Africville and its residents is a
monumental example of racism at work in Canadian history; it had a devastating
effect on the black community, most people believe that the destruction of Africville
was an unfortunate incident that was born of a necessary and humanitarian effort
however, the destruction of Africville was not only planned for years but the
Halifax city council and those in power at the time within Halifax slowly throughout
the years destroyed the land and homes of Africville. During the nineteenth century
Halifax began to expand more, industries and businesses began to infringe on
Africville property, the establishment of the Nova Scotia Railway Company in 1853
resulted in the early demolition of several homes as rail lines were built through the
community this demolition of homes showed that companies and industries saw
Africville not as a community where people lived but a potential building space for
their needs and it was also the beginning of many occasions where the Halifax
council and businesses used Africville as their own source for expansion. In the

The story Harrison Bergeron by Kurt Vonnegut, Jr. explains that people are being
forced to wear handicaps to make everyone equal in every aspect. Also, a man
called Harrison Bergeron was sent to prison without a trial because the
government believed that he was planning to overthrow the government but later
on he escapes. It also explains that Harrison goes to the TV studio where a
ballerina had given the news to the public and claims that he is the Emperor of
everyone. He soon told everyone that he was going to select an Empress and so, a
ballerina stood up and became his Empress. Harrison and the ballerina soon started

legislation is saying that no police officer, sheriff, or etc. are allowed to kill a
person before going to trial to find the accused person correct punishment. There will
