  • 4. Measuring Of Turnover: Turnover = Number Of Staff Leaving Per Year * 100 Average Number Of Staff
  • 5. Types Of Turnover:  Voluntary turnover  Involuntary turnover  Functional turnover  Dysfunctional turnover  Controllable turnover  Uncontrollable turnover
  • 6. Voluntary Turnover Involuntary Turnover  Employees leave by choice.  Termination for poor  Voluntary turnover also appears performance.  Work rule violations to increase with the size of an organization.  Most likely due to larger firms having more employee who may move the more impersonal nature of organization  Organizational bureaucracy
  • 7. Functional Turnover  Lower performance or disruptive employees. Dysfunctional Turnover  High performers leave the organization at critical time
  • 8. Controllable Turnover  It occurs due to factors that could be influenced by the employer Uncontrollable Turnover  Occur for reasons out side the impact 0f the employer
  • 9. Reasons Why An Employee Leave The Organization  Monetary factors  Lack of good working condition  No flexible work schedule  Lack of respect  Very few supportive colleagues  Organization is more concern towards business
  • 10.  Increase in favoritisms  Employee need pride in where they work and what they do  Lack of challenges in jobs  The job or work place was as expected  The mismatch between job in person  To little coaching and feedback
  • 11. Effect Of An Organization Of Its Employee Leave  Loss of productivity  Replacing qualified employees.  Lowering moral and confidence  Cost of over time and temporary help  Recreating cost  Interviewing cost  Time spent in orientation
