Kiril Levkov proposes an innovative turbine called TurboSphere that utilizes natural gas overpressure energy. The TurboSphere is a 3-in-1 device that functions as a turbine, heat exchanger, and generator to produce electricity from low-grade heat energy between 20-40°C without consuming fuel. It can generate 15-500 kW of power and is smaller and applicable to more sites than existing turboexpanders. TurboEnergy plans to commercialize the TurboSphere, targeting 50% of sales to natural gas distributors and 50% to industrial and power customers, with the market potential reaching billions of rubles by 2035.
