Duties
Break/Fix
 Install hardware andperipheral componentslike diskdrives,printers,keyboardsandmonitors.
 Load software packagessuchas operatingsystemsandoffice applications.
 Customize andadaptcurrent programs to satisfyusers’needs.
 Coordinate withnetworkservicesandinformationsystemsgroups.
 Update on status tomanager andusersthroughvoice mail,email andin-personcommunication.
 Connectusersto networksandtrainon facilitiesand domains.
 Install,repairandconductpreventivemaintenance of personal computerbyprovidingtechnical
support.
 Troubleshootsoftwareandhardware failuresanddetermine networkproblems.
 Diagnose andresolve incidentsusingdocumentedprocedurestoperformresponsibilities.
 Workaroundif incidentcannotbe resolved.
 Configure PCsandlaptops,problemticketresolutionsandtrackproblemsusingService Desk.
 Integrate andtestactivitiesbymigratingapplicationsfromdevelopmenttooperational
environment.
 Troubleshootthroughphone hardware andsoftware andengage technical resourcestoresolve.
 Determine andresearchuserquestionsandisolate andresolve informationsystemsproblems.
 Receive andprioritizeissuesandforwardsusingescalationprocedures.
 Install hardware andperipheral componentslike printers,keyboardsandmonitors.
 Diagnose andresolve incidentsusingdocumentedprocedurestoperformresponsibilities.
Facilitation:
 Create badges andconfigure accessto buildinganddepartments.
 Setuseralarm codes
 Setdata centeraccess pin
 Backup forcreatingUPS shippinglabels
 Move,add or change equipmentfromone locationtoanother
 Receive shipmentsandsendconfirmationsof packagesreceived
Security:
 MonitorSymantecEndpointProtectionalerts
 Provide several monthlyreportsforphysical access tosecurityteam
 Disable accountsthathave beeninactive for45 days
 Monitorleave of absence emailsandactaccordingly(scanall listedassociatesforaccountsin
RSA,Physical badge access,Linux,&Jiraand disable access)
 Departinghires(disable all accessvirtual &physical)

Network Systems:
 Assistwill buildingSCCMpackages
 Assistwithcritical patchor updates
 MaintainNetDB usersand information(includingmacaddressesforportsecurity)
Infra Engineering:
 Coordinate forprojectsandrequirements
Security Engineering:
 Assist with critical pushes from TU Corp
Production Support:
 Offshore andonshore newhire tasks(laptop,badge,andVPN)
 MaintainiPhonesfortransferringcontractors
 Submitoffshore toonshore transfersviaUnicenter
 Work withmanagerto requesteID.
 Maintainoffshore wyse terminalsandphysical desktops
Ora DB:
 AssignADgroupsfor DB account creation
 AssigntasksforDB access
