Engine is one of the most significant component of road vehicles. High performance vehicles have their
engine supported by bracket. The engine mounting plays an important role in reducing the noise and vibrations, improving the
comfort and work environment of a vehicle. The present work deals with design modification of engine mounting bracket.
Modelling work has been carried out with commercial desktop CAD software and analyzed the modal performance with
Analysis software. Ribs has been adopted to the existing mounting bracket for its better performance structural, thermal and
modal analysis has been carried out with analysis software. Aluminium alloy, aluminium silicon carbide and magnesium alloy
are considered as the different materials of mounting bracket. Based on the analysis it is found that the aluminium silicon
carbide is superior suited for the modified V6 engine mounting bracket.
Chassis mounted structures provide a levelled base to the transport vehicles intended for on-road and off-road driving. These structures acts as cushioning elements to sophisticated cargos like intelligent tracking systems placed in shelters’ closed environment. These structures need sufficient strength and rigidity to withstand the load variations arising from tire-road interactions during rough road travel. Such structures need special attention during the design phase itself in order to improve the specified payload carrying capacity with optimized dimensions. Present paper focuses on formulation of a specialized structure mounted on chassis intended to carry shelters. A scaled prototype is manufactured and tested for different grade-load combinations. This is done through experimental strain measurement and analysis of the results. The data is acquired for nine different load magnitudes and is categorised into three sets as low, moderate and high magnitudes. Interrelation between the stress/strain values acquired during each load and gradient state is developed. The structure behaviour is hypothesized through the gradient strain measurement outcomes. Major design concerns include the spacing & orientation of cross-members, load locations on the structure and the road profiles. Cross-country and rough road terrain behavior of the structure is attempted in present work.

In this research work, suitable lightweight material is found for chassis frame by analyzing chassis with different
materials like structural steel, aluminum alloy and Epoxy E-Glass UD composite materials. The selected material should have the
sufficient strength to carry the load coming on to the chassis when it is supporting the vehicle. With reduction in the weight of the
chassis, reduces the overall weight of the vehicle, which leads to the reduction in fuel. Thus, the usage of lightweight materials in
manufacturing of chassis frame has the advantages. The materials used should help in reducing the weight of the vehicle while
maintaining the necessary strength for supporting the expected load acting on the frame under various operating conditions.
ANSYS finite element software is used to analyze the performance of the chassis with different materials. The 3D model of the
chassis frame is developed by SOLIDWORKS software and numerical analysis is carried out by ANSYS. The model of the ladder
frame is developed using generic specifications. The FEM analysis was done on chassis frame for its deformation and stresses by
applying maximum load. The von-misses stresses, strain and deformations of the chassis with structural steel, aluminum alloy and
composite materials are compared. Composite materials are observed to be better with less weight with similar performance. It is
found that composite (E-glass) is more preferable material for chassis frame.

Optimization study on trailer arm chassis by finite element methodeSAT Journals
Abstract: Chassis is the important part of an automobile. It supports the body and different parts of an automobile. Chassis consists of engine, brakes, power train, steering system and wheels mounted on a frame. Ƭhe frame is the main part of the chassis on which remaining parts of chassis are placed. Ƭhe chassis should be rigid enough to withstand the twist, shock, stresses, vibrations and bending moments to which it is subjected while vehicle is moving on road. Ƭhe trailer arm chassis frame has to carry and sustain the heavy loads which are applied on it. Hence it is very important to design and analysis of the trailer arm chassis frame. Ƭhe design of trailer arm chassis is carried out by taking the base model structure of chassis as a standard. The optimization technique to redesign Chassis (Frame) of a trailer is carried out here. The trailer had dimensional limits and must be able to reduce the overall size and shape and still lift the same amount of load. Different load cases with given boundary conditions & loadings are used. Ƭo improve the performance of the chassis finite element analysis is carried for various alternatives. Ƭhe analysis is performed by varying the thickness, shape and material to get the best possible design of the chassis. Static analysis is carried out for both basic and modified designs to determine the high stress regions, maximum displacement, and normal stress at critical positions of the chassis. Normal modal analysis for base model is carried out to find the first natural frequency. Normal modal analysis is carried out for all modified designs to improve the first natural frequency of the chassis in order to avoid the resonance. The whole challenging task, starting with pre processing, analysis and post processing is completed using Altair’s HyperMesh, Abaqus and HyperView FE package. Finite Element Analysis of Fire Truck Chassis for Steel and Carbon Fiber Mate...IJERA Editor
Chassis is the foremost component of an automobile that acts as the frame to support the vehicle body. Hence the frame ought to be very rigid and robust enough to resist shocks vibrations and stresses acting on a moving vehicle. Steel in its numerous forms is commonly used material for producing chassis and overtime alumimium has acquired its use. However, in this study traditional materials are replaced with ultra light weight carbon fiber materials. High strength and low weight of carbon fibers makes it ideal for manufacturing automotive chassis. This paper depicts the modal and static structural analysis of TATA 407 fire truck chassis frame for steel as well as carbon fibers. From the analyzed results, stress, strain and total deformation values were compared for both the materials. Since it is easy to analyze structural systems by finite element method, the chassis is modified using PRO-E and the Finite Element Analysis is performed on ANSYS workbench.

Immunizing Image Classifiers Against Localized Adversary Attacksgerogepatton
This paper addresses the vulnerability of deep learning models, particularly convolutional neural networks
(CNN)s, to adversarial attacks and presents a proactive training technique designed to counter them. We
introduce a novel volumization algorithm, which transforms 2D images into 3D volumetric representations.
When combined with 3D convolution and deep curriculum learning optimization (CLO), itsignificantly improves
the immunity of models against localized universal attacks by up to 40%. We evaluate our proposed approach
using contemporary CNN architectures and the modified Canadian Institute for Advanced Research (CIFAR-10
and CIFAR-100) and ImageNet Large Scale Visual Recognition Challenge (ILSVRC12) datasets, showcasing
accuracy improvements over previous techniques. The results indicate that the combination of the volumetric
input and curriculum learning holds significant promise for mitigating adversarial attacks without necessitating
adversary training.

CFD Simulation of By-pass Flow in a HRSG module by R&R Consult.pptxR&R Consult
CFD analysis is incredibly effective at solving mysteries and improving the performance of complex systems!
Here's a great example: At a large natural gas-fired power plant, where they use waste heat to generate steam and energy, they were puzzled that their boiler wasn't producing as much steam as expected.
R&R and Tetra Engineering Group Inc. were asked to solve the issue with reduced steam production.
An inspection had shown that a significant amount of hot flue gas was bypassing the boiler tubes, where the heat was supposed to be transferred.
R&R Consult conducted a CFD analysis, which revealed that 6.3% of the flue gas was bypassing the boiler tubes without transferring heat. The analysis also showed that the flue gas was instead being directed along the sides of the boiler and between the modules that were supposed to capture the heat. This was the cause of the reduced performance.
Based on our results, Tetra Engineering installed covering plates to reduce the bypass flow. This improved the boiler's performance and increased electricity production.
It is always satisfying when we can help solve complex challenges like this. Do your systems also need a check-up or optimization? Give us a call!
Work done in cooperation with James Malloy and David Moelling from Tetra Engineering.

Cosmetic shop management system project report.pdfKamal Acharya
Buying new cosmetic products is difficult. It can even be scary for those who have sensitive skin and are prone to skin trouble. The information needed to alleviate this problem is on the back of each product, but it's thought to interpret those ingredient lists unless you have a background in chemistry.
Instead of buying and hoping for the best, we can use data science to help us predict which products may be good fits for us. It includes various function programs to do the above mentioned tasks.
Data file handling has been effectively used in the program.
The automated cosmetic shop management system should deal with the automation of general workflow and administration process of the shop. The main processes of the system focus on customer's request where the system is able to search the most appropriate products and deliver it to the customers. It should help the employees to quickly identify the list of cosmetic product that have reached the minimum quantity and also keep a track of expired date for each cosmetic product. It should help the employees to find the rack number in which the product is placed. It is also Faster and more efficient way.
Water scarcity is the lack of fresh water resources to meet the standard water demand. There are two type of water scarcity. One is physical. The other is economic water scarcity.
