TPACK stands for technological pedagogical content knowledge, and is what all teachers are supposed to work towards in the classroom. When broken down, content knowledge means knowing the necessary information in a particular subject, pedagogical knowledge means knowing how to teach this information to students, and technological knowledge means knowing how to effectively incorporate technology into a lesson plan.
It is important for every teacher to understand the concepts of TPACK, because our world is becoming more and more technologically advanced. Students are used to having technology in their daily lives and the constant stimulation they provide. For this reason, it would be unwise for a teacher to completely ignore technology or leave it out of the classroom. Technology is becoming an imperative aspect of classroom learning. However, technology must be used wisely and purposefully. It should only be incorporated into a lesson plan if it will enhance the students’ learning.
This leads to an important aspect of TPACK: it is not only about technology. First and foremost, a teacher should know the subject they are teaching and how to teach it. Technology does not replace pedagogical or content knowledge, but rather adds another dimension to it. Arguably, the most effective teachers will be the ones that understand and use the concepts of TPACK in the classroom. I, as a future teacher, have a responsibility to my students and my school to be that effective teacher, who knows how to provide students with an excellent education in the 21st century.

TPACK: A New Dimension to EFL Teachers’ PCK (liu et.al, 2014) by zainal 'arifin Zainal 'Arifin
This paper focuses on the technological pedagogical content knowledge (TPACK) of English as a foreign language (EFL) teachers. The paper first addresses how technology is connected with EFL teachers’ professional knowledge and the importance of TPACK in EFL teaching. In the second section, the paper discusses four points concerning EFL teachers’ challenge in developing TPACK. These points include integration of technology into teachers’ present knowledge system, the relationship between new and old knowledge, teachers’ willingness to accept new technology and teachers’ weaker position in using new technology. The last section covers the support to develop EFL teachers’ TPACK and suggests what specific measurements should be taken. The paper concludes that the development of TPACK for EFL teachers is a connection of two sources of knowledge, i.e. The formal knowledge and skills provided and supported by schools and teaching community and the practical knowledge in using technology.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies such as Generative AI, Image Generators and Large Language Models have had a dramatic impact on teaching, learning and assessment over the past 18 months. The most immediate threat AI posed was to Academic Integrity with Higher Education Institutes (HEIs) focusing their efforts on combating the use of GenAI in assessment. Guidelines were developed for staff and students, policies put in place too. Innovative educators have forged paths in the use of Generative AI for teaching, learning and assessments leading to pockets of transformation springing up across HEIs, often with little or no top-down guidance, support or direction.
This Gasta posits a strategic approach to integrating AI into HEIs to prepare staff, students and the curriculum for an evolving world and workplace. We will highlight the advantages of working with these technologies beyond the realm of teaching, learning and assessment by considering prompt engineering skills, industry impact, curriculum changes, and the need for staff upskilling. In contrast, not engaging strategically with Generative AI poses risks, including falling behind peers, missed opportunities and failing to ensure our graduates remain employable. The rapid evolution of AI technologies necessitates a proactive and strategic approach if we are to remain relevant.

2. Comparing two TPACK Models,
what works better for me?
When comparing the models ,I notice that integration model and
the new model of TPACK serve the same conclusion in regards
making sure teachers/educators have a good understanding of
the use of TPACK. But integration model lacks constancy where as
the newer model has the same foundation but added with new
information.
I believe the visual /quantitative model work better for me. It
gives a clear understanding on how the model is used, as well as
how teachers can track their growth and knowledge level . This
model states how a teacher knowledge and understanding has
increased as well. the text if the teacher understand the the use
of TPACK then the students as well will benefit as well with the
use of technology.

• My dad lacks the knowledge of technology and it is hard for
him to obtain a job with the use of technology, because he
did not need technology from his previous job . But now that
he is on a search for a new job it has become hard for him
because he does not understand the basic use of technology .
So therefore , the TPACK model can be utilize in the
workplaces as well especially during job trainings being as
though technology is strongly used in the workplace
