Getting Started With Reloading Research Paper
Getting Started With Reloading: The Basic Equipment
This article will serve as a list of items needed in order to get started. Many of the items on this list
can be purchased individually or as part of a reloading kit. Hornady, Lee Precision, and RCBS offer
reloading kits designed for the beginning reloader.
Once you decide which cartridges that you wish to reload, you will need to purchase the cartridge
components; powder, primers, cases, and bullets.
Required Items:
Work Bench:
A work bench with plenty of workspace will work best for a reloading bench. Weight and strength is a
key component of a reloading bench setup to help keep the bench from moving around during the
resizing process.
Reloading Manual:
One of the most important purchases ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Case Trimmer:
Because brass cases can stretch after firing and resizing, trimming is sometimes necessary to ensure
proper case length. There are many different types and styles of case trimmers. They are typically
manually operated or motorized. Most trimmers require a shell holder and pilot specific to the caliber
being trimmed.
Deburring Tool:
A tool used to deburr and chamfer the case mouth after case trimming. These are typically universal,
designed to work on all cases.
Calipers:
A caliper is a tool used to measure the empty case length after resizing and the trimming operations.
Calipers are also used to check the case overall length (COL). These can be either a dial caliper or
digital.

Elizabethan Influence On Romeo And Juliet
The 16th century was a time of strict religious ruling, a strong queen and respected social classes. All
of which were crucial traits about the 16th century and defined the time period, and along with that,
formed the basis of many works of William Shakespeare, a classic author. The play Romeo and Juliet
by William Shakespeare was written amidst this time and shows a great example of these traits. More
specifically, the strict religious ruling which affected live during this time period. The information that
I learned about the Elizabethan Era will influence my reading of Romeo and Juliet because the
religious status of a time can deeply affect the events that happen. The Church of England s preference
to Catholics will influence my reading

Construction Of An Existing Large Dwelling Into A New...
Planning is a continuously evolving process, at times chaotic and often contested, difficult and
frustrating. (Thompson, S. 2007). The redevelopment of an existing large dwelling into a new
tavern/restaurant will be considered carefully as ...at the heart of planning is the community, and the
education, research and practices relating to the planned use of land, its associated systems, and of the
natural and built environmental, social and economic impacts and implications of the use of land.
(Thompson, S. 2007). In order for the developer to have the greatest chance of successfully obtaining
planning and building permits, specific documents are required to be submitted to local council for
revision and approval/dismissal. There are ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Zoning Planners need to plan a town s future. Zoning addresses the issues of land use, density and
building height for certain areas. (Thompson, S. 2007). Zoning is a prime tool for guiding
development of a town/suburb and sets helpful standards for long developed areas and is also useful
for neighbourhood preservation.
2. Required Setbacks Refers to the placement of the building on its block of land. In this case, the
building is already pre existing so the council will more than likely only need to consider the setback
requirements for the new addition to the rear of the property. Issues such as proximity to the boundary
line and therefore neighbours will need to be addressed.
3. Car Parking Requirements The existing building was originally not designed to be a restaurant
come tavern. As the building will now be repurposed the developer will need to allow for car parking
plans within both the planning and building approval stages.
4. Floor Area Ratio can be defined as The total square feet of a building divided by the total square
feet of the lot the building is located on. In more urban areas this ratio tends to be greater to reflect the
density of the area s construction. (Investopedia, 2011)
5. Landscaping Requirements Usually, an approved landscaping plan would be required for any new
commercial or residential construction. Landscaping plans may also show utilities and

Even though the film was meant to funny, it did make me think about different cultural preduice and

Review on Brahms s Third Symphony Essays
Review on Brahms s Third Symphony
Symphony No.3, Johannes Brahms (1833 1897)
Op.90, F Major
Allegro con brio
Andante
Poco allegretto allegro Brahms was at the zenith of his powers when he wrote the third Symphony. He
finished it during the summer of 1883, in Wiesbaden, whence in early May, soon after his fiftieth
birthday. We can picture Brahms that summer, in the very prime of his life, his great intellectual and
emotional powers fully developed and his mastery widely acknowledged, walking much about
Wiesbaden, mediating the strong and happy music that is third symphony by Brahms.

Three phrases of the tune which was given to clarinets and bassoons, has its cadence echoed by low
strings. Passages developed from the first theme then led gradually to its return in its original calm
mood after a brief climax. A brief coda was made by a new and happy melody referring to the main
theme.
The third movement was lighter than any of the other movements. But the middle section referred to
the single note motive which was grown as symphony progressed.
With the finale the grand returned, peoples were at once concerned with weighty issues. The
suspension was highly impressive making peoples feel something great impending. The themes were
many and various. But they flowed from one to another smoothly. Then the movement was fully
developed as the exuberant conclusion theme came out, fast and furiously. There also followed a
series of developments some ingenious and some powerful. Then the movement went into end. The
loud horn proclamation died slowly through sublet changing harmonies, until by a modulation. Then
the entire color and atmosphere of the music changed to half light. The original halting form of the
theme recurred briefly but only for a moment. With the development of the melody, in slow rhythm,
soft entrances of four initial motives echoed from bass to treble leading to a timid but happy and
confident reaffirmation of the motto from the first

Canada Participation In The War On Iraq Essay
Canada had made the right decision not to take part in the war. The US invasion of Iraq in 2003 made
a terrible impact on both Iraq and America. Both of these countries should have solved the situation
differently. America, however had no real evidence for why they sent U.S. forces to launch an attack
on Iraq. Iraq had never tried to threaten America. On the other hand, this war caused a lot of
confusion. Canada did not think that this war was necessary to start. There were good reasons why
Canada refused to participate in the war on Iraq. It was based on lies, changed the way other countries
viewed Iraq, and it led to disasters. The invasion that took place caused a lot of chaos and problems.
First of all, Canada was right to refuse to participate in the war on Iraq for the reason that the war was
based on lies. America had been suspected that they had an involvement with the CIA. George Bush
was part of the central national security information. Michael Morell s; the director of the central
intelligence agency, had been involved in helping George Bush. Morell s helped to ... Show more

destruction by having thousands of US deaths and hundreds of thousands of Iraqis being killed. There
was also houses and buildings that had been destroyed. From all the points, Canada ended up making
the right decision not to be part of the US invasion of Iraq in 2003. Therefore, Canada avoided the

Bohemian Rhapsody Essay
Queen s cult classic hit Bohemian Rhapsody debuted in 1975; this single exploded and had sold more
than one million copies by the start of 1976. During a period when rock was finding its roots Queen
seized the opportunity to experiment with what could be accepted in mainstream music. Through
thoughtful and decisive manipulation of musical elements such as tonality, harmony, form and lyrical
undertones; Queen effectively conveys musical meaning and entertains listeners. Bohemian Rhapsody
falls under a genre known as progressive rock. It s a genre that is characterised by the unorthodox take
on form which incorporates aspects of other genres and often supports aspects of a classical form.
This song is peculiar in that it has four sections, and lack of a chorus, these sections being; Intro (0:00
00:49), Ballad (00:49 3:02), Operatic verse (3:02 4:07), Hard Rock (4:07 4:54) and Outro (4:54 5:55).

the listener. The word Bohemian in this context refers both to the lead vocals journey (as bohemianism

Bankfull Discharge Lab Report
Introduction The Jemez River, located in north central New Mexico, is an alluvial stream that
converges with the Rio Guadelupe. The purpose of this lab was to collect hydrologic data related to
the Jemez River and the Rio Guadalupe in order to evaluate the whether the prevailing ideas about
bankfull discharge are applicable to this system. The ideas that bankfull discharge is the most
important factor in determining the geomorphic characteristics of the stream, and that bankfull
discharge is has a recurrence interval of approximately 1.5 years were tested using field data collected
and compared to real time data collected below the confluence of the Jemez and Rio Guadalupe rivers.
Background
Alluvial streams form in the sediments they transport and deposit, and channel morphology is a
reflection of this process (Church, 2006). In arid environments, flood flows ... Show more content on

Gravity is one of the dominant forces acting to move water down slope, and the shear stress (τ), or the
resisting force exerted by bed and bank material act as the force opposing down slope movement
(Leopold et al., 1964). The variables considered in table 1 allow us to determine wither sediment of a
certain size will become mobile at bankfull flow, and ultimately be able to shape the stream channel.
In order for median sized sediment to become entrained, the bed shear stress (τb) must be greater than
the critical shear stress (τc), or the resistance force of the sediment quantified by the Shields number.
The streams ability to transport large clasts can be assessed using the Costa entrainment velocity, and
the critical value for the deposition of large clasts (τb) that may have been mobilized further up stream
can be estimated using the O Connor equation. The values assessed can ultimately offer insight into
stream power or the energy available for sediment transport and

Male Victims Of Domestic Violence Essay
Male victims of domestic violence attitudes towards the UK public services and organisations

Introduction
This research proposal will aim to expand on the knowledge and understanding of domestic violence
regarding female on male violence by inquiring into victim interactions with the public services and
other organisations available to them, such as charities and shelters. Adopting a mixed method
approach, it will combine semi structured interviews with an online self completion survey. The
sample for this will be obtained through the survey, using a snowball method to acquire participants.

With evidence to support gender symmetry between men and women abuse rates, it has questioned
why male victims are not adequately treated by public services and discussion around there being too
little help for male victims of domestic violence. For this reason and the fact there is such little

Reflective Essay On Interprofessional Education
In my NUR 301 Class, I had the opportunity to practice on Interprofessional Education. Our nursing
student team was partnered with first year pharmacy school students to learn about each other
professions and to study on how we could work in a team of healthcare professionals to attain a
common goal. As this was my first time experience to meet other students from a different department
of Notre Dame of Maryland University, I was not sure what to expect from our discussions. Even if I
have some experiences working both in hospitals and in a pharmacy, I was no fully aware of the
responsibilities of a pharmacist directly to the patient or to the healthcare field specialists.
From this class I understood that Interprofessional Education (IPE) is when two or more profession
learn from, with and about each other. This collaboration is important in order to fulfill the patients
needs that are becoming more complex, multi faced and challenging day by day. It is also clear to me
that no single profession in healthcare can adequately address all the demands of patients. Therefore,
partnership between teams is required to provide a safe, timely, effective and equitable patient care. To
have a smooth collaboration, it is necessary to learn from each other s specializations, strength and
experiences. In the real world, healthcare is an interdisciplinary team effort to provide the best
possible service to a patient based on evidence based practices. Considering this, I had the

There has been considerable debate amongst academics whether foreclosure would reduce
competition or not. However, Bernheim and Whinston (1998)(cited in Lipczynski et al., 2005, p. 581)
argue that there is no black and white; the effects of foreclosure will vary according to conditions
Krattenmaker and Salop (1986) (cited in Lipczynski et al., 2005, p. 581) derived 3 conditions to
ascertain if foreclosure harms competition. 1. Is the ability of excluded rivals to compete reduced?
Competitors might face increasing costs when firms deliberately increase the price of supplies or
when competitors are forced to bid for remaining inputs. However, this does not mean it will increase
competitor s cost if supplies are available from alternative suppliers. 2. Is the market increased by
exclusion? Firms may not necessarily gain market power if it has powerful competitors or if entry is
possible. This may harm competitors but not necessarily competition. 3. Is the exclusion profitable?
Profit increase from enhanced market power doesn t necessarily counterbalance the loss in revenue.

The Discrepancies of Shakespeare
Shakespeare is a world renowned playwright. Most people could describe at least of one of his plays,
poems, or sonnets. However, not many people can recall the details of his personal life. Some may
know that he was married, while others believe that he gay. Since there are so many discrepancies
concerning William Shakespeare, it can no longer be determined what the facts are and what is fiction.
The discrepancies that involve Shakespeare start with his father. John Shakespeare had come to live in
Stratford upon Avon, working as a glove maker. However, John had a long line of jobs. He was a wool
dealer and was involved in money lending ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
In fact, he could have been born on the 25th and there just happened to be a baptismal on the 26th.
There are so many possibilities that one must wonder if it is right to assume a date.
Nobody knows if Shakespeare went to school or not. There are no records that Shakespeare ever
attended school. However, since no records of anyone s school attendance were generally kept, there
is no evidence against it. It is supposed, because he was the son of a leading townsman, that he
attended the King Edward VI Grammar School in Stratford. Here, his education would have consisted
of a thorough knowledge of Latin, logic and rhetoric and also history, which would have been mainly
classical, (http:168.216.219.18).This could explain Shakespeare s knowledge of history for his plays.
If William had attended school, it is probable that he left at about the age of fourteen.
William had the example of his father s success and the standing of his mother as a gentlewoman to
ignite his own ambition, and it was while he was young that his father was at the height of his
influence.
Then, the fortunes of his father mysteriously failed as he appeared to fall into financial difficulties
which led him to default on his attendance at council meetings. As for William, it is very likely that he
became apprenticed to his father s business. This is because it was the custom for young men,

Machines Overcoming Humans
As one would begin to think, about how much technology we humans use daily, they realize just how
much we are in need of it. As people, look back in time over the generations to where we no

technology they use. People are so use to just having it that they do not even think about how much it
consumes their lives. As I have learned, in the past couple of months just how much we humans are as
a cyborg, made me just as gullible as people are to how much technology consumes our lives. When
first thinking about the concept of us humans are as cybernetic organisms I was skeptical about the
concept and did not believe we were as cybernetic organisms. As looking to see what a cybernetic
organism is, I found they are a human who has certain biological developments assisted or controlled
by mechanical or electronic devices. When learning that was the meaning I began to think us humans
are as cybernetic organisms. My first reading on the thoughts of cyborg, was You Are Cyborg, written
by Hari Kunzru, writing to Donna Haraway who does believe we humans are cyborgs. As one reads
You Are Cyborg, who sees that Donna Haraway, is not saying that we humans are physically cyborgs
that are all mechanically made but that we are consumed by technology making us cybernetic

The Feasibility Of Miniature Horses Serving As Guide Animals
Introduction
I am an animal lover and have direct experience with dogs and horses due to the fact that I own six
horses and three dogs. I have always been amazed every time I see a service dog and its client. I have
always seen dogs used as the service animal. One day at work, I overheard one of my co workers
mentioned the use of miniature ponies as service animals. I was intrigued by the idea of a miniature
pony serving as a guide animal. They have mentioned studies being conducted on this subject, and I
have decided to make this my research topic for this class.
Purpose
The purpose for this research paper was to discover the feasibility of miniature horses serving as guide
animals. I know not all people like dogs or don t trust dogs. What are disabled persons choices in
service animals? How about disabled individuals that are allergic to dogs? I will research documents
on miniature horses used as service animals, identify the pros and cons of my subject, look for
examples demonstrating my subjects abilities, and examine the adaptability of dogs and miniature
horses.
Significance
I hope this study will give handicapped or people who are challenged with every day task a choice of
what animal will be their service partner. I always see dogs as service animals, and I would like to find
out if they can have a choice. I know a lot of people that do not like dogs or are allergic to dogs. This
research could provide answers to issues with service animals and their

Born on September 8th 1960, six years later Ruby Bridges would be the first African American child

Advantages And Disadvantages On Bonds
What are bonds?
You have probably heard people talking about bonds, or read about them and how much one can earn
if they invest in bonds but you really do not know what bonds are or how they work. We shall take
you through all these and enlighten you.
Bonds are debt securities or debt investment whereby, if you buy a bond, you are actually lending your
money but with security. It is a way for you to invest your money by lending it. Borrowers will issue
bonds so as to raise funds from investors and most of the funds are usually used as capital for further
ventures or expansion. Some of the entities that issue bonds are governments, corporations,
municipalities and other federal agencies.
The entity that issues the bond is known as the Issuer and when you purchase one, ... Show more

1. High taxes are charged on the interest payments from bonds than most of the other investment
incomes. Therefore this will affect how much you end up with as interest because what you get is
what is left after the taxes have been deducted.
2. Bonds may have low risk factors; however, they also have lower returns if compared to other
investments such as stocks. This means that if you are going for high returns in a short time then
bonds are not the best option.
3. If you buy a bond when interest rates are low, even if the interest rates go up, you will still get your
interests calculated at the low rates rather than being revised to the high interest rates. This, therefore,
means that you are stuck at earning using low interest rates no matter how high the interest rates rise.
4. The interest you an investor earns from bonds are mostly paid either once a year or twice a year in
most cases. This means that if you are looking for a more regular source of income as an investment,
then bonds would not be great for you unless you find bonds that pay off interest more

religious factors of papacy, or hatred for selected peoples groups on the face of the earth. The
Crusades revile the desire of control from popes that required the Greek Church (all non Christians) to
be under the control of the Catholic Church of Rome.
According to Dana C. Munro, the first crusades began under the papacy of Pope Urban II. From
whom delivered a speech in 1096 at the Council of Clermont that led thousands to take up the cross. It
is from that moment on the Popes always felt the crusades were their task and under their inspiration
believing that the crusades were God s work and they were His agents. Let us consider the words of
Pope Urban II according to Fulk of Chartres, I speak to those who are present, I shall proclaim it to the
absent, but it is Christ who commands. Moreover, if those who set to thither lose their lives on the
journey, by land or sea, or in fighting against the heathen, their sins shall be remitted in that hour; this
I grant through the power of God vested in me.
However, what prompted the speech from the Pope Urban II to issue such a decree? Thomas Fuller
states, though the pretenses were pious and plausible, yet no doubt, the thoughts of his holiness began
where other men s ended and he had a privy project beyond the public design.
Pope Urban II only has to look to Spain. Recall that the Vikings influx of Europe had just ended

The Pros And Cons Of Ida B. Wells
The supreme art of war is to subdue the enemy without fighting Sun Tzu. Many of the famous Civil
Rights leaders would agree with this quote, but while there also leaders that wanted violence. Many
famous people of this time period had differing opinions on how to make the lives of African
Americans safer. The primary sources from Wells, Washington, Turner, Du Bois, and Harper showed
their separate opinions on how to better the lives of African Americans, and each person had positives
and negatives, but the alternative offered by Ida B. Wells would have caused larger problems between
the black and white communities. Two of the alternatives proposed were considered radical and
almost dangerous to the African American community. The first radical idea was proposed by Ida B.
Wells. She believed that the African American population needs to stand up against the government to
show that the lynching and unjust treatment in America is unfair. Wells was famous for her boycotting
of the railroads, and she wanted every household to have a gun just in case of emergencies involving
the white people. These ideas were very radical for the time period because she wanted people to hurt
others first, she famously states, The strong arm of the law must be brought to bear upon lynchers in
severe punishment, but this cannot and will not be done unless a healthy public sentiment demands
and sustains such action . Ida B. Wells had passionate beliefs, but this would not be the best

The Fall Of Death, Destruction And War
In the wake of death, destruction and war came the renaissance. The renaissance was an era of cultural
rebirth that swept across Europe during the 14th to 17th century . This era marked the time in which
man returned to their classical learning and values of ancient rome and greece and began to change
their attitude towards religion (history.com staff). While the renaissance is in the past it continues to
live on throughout many different fields of art, theories and movements, however, paintings tend to be
most symbolic of what the renaissance era was. The Renaissance era was faced with the hundred years
war, the black death, classicism and the issues of religion such as the distancing from church and
humankind s search for the meaning of their existence and how life works. With these ongoing issues
renaissance paintings were often depicting images of war, death, the values from ancient greece and
rome and they became more secular as well. Additionally, the artist began to develop new techniques
such as linear perspective, realism, depth, symmetry, and classicism. Artists also began to make use of
light, detail anatomy, depict nature and focus on individuals instead of groups of people. Leonardo da
Vinci, is one of the most famous painters and at 15 was an apprentice to Andrea del Verrocchio
(history.com staff). He was also an inventor, scientist, doctor and philosopher and has been nicknamed
the renaissance man (history.com staff). Da vinci is an artist whose

Jealousy And Jealousy In Human Behaviour
The concepts of jealousy and envy have been acknowledged as being important characteristics of
human behaviour and can be considered as a mental state that directs an individual s assessment of a
stimulating situation.
The existence of a rival can be particularly threatening because it challenges some aspect of a person s
self definition (Parrott, 1991), hence leaving persons in an emotional triangle between their self worth
and their social valve. Your neighbour pulls up in a sweet new ride. Your co worker announces she s
taking yet another trip abroad. Your best friend upgraded to a bigger house in a better area of town
(Weston 2017). This played seamlessly within the author s first paragraph of the article, which took a
more sympatric approach and depicted a pathos type of argument, with a benevolent tone. Playing on
the readers emotions and captivating their attention as we all have been exposed to the notion of
feeling inferior in comparison to our peers and their achievements, which induced our level of interest
to read on. Psychologists have coined that jealousy is universal based on its functional mechanism
(Dittman 2005), which we can see playing out with the catching up with the Joneses or utility
interdependence mentality that results in mindless spending as described by Lisa within the article. It
was clear in the transformation of the authors tone and argument from being sympatric to a more
candid tone, while depicting the logos form of argument, with a very stern under tone to readers who
are guilty of wasteful spending of money to match that of their peers, whose underline source of funds
in most cases are not publicised as the public show of their wealth. The author describes vividly the
picture of the foundation that one lives their lavish lifestyle on, that is not seen or understood by the
onlooker but many times the veil is present and the emotion of jealousy is ramped hence no logic is
seen and only emotion is felt.
For most theorists, a defining feature of jealousy is that it requires a social triangle which takes place
when someone perceives that another person (be it real or imaginary) poses a potential threat to an
important interpersonal relationship (e.g., Parrott

Disadvantages Of User Centered Design
Introduction
User centered design (UCD) is a broad term to describe design processes in which end users influence
how a design takes shape. (Abras, Maloney Krichmar, Preece, 2004) Getting the opinions and input
from the end user in the design of an information system. Also getting requirements from the users
about what they want the system to do and then meeting those requirements in the design and
development of the system.
During which stages of SDLC is UI most effective?
There are many different opinions on whether users should be involved in the in the development of
an information system also, there are also many different ways in which they can be involved. There
are different parts in the development of an information system including: ... Show more content on

There are different methodologies on the Software Development Lifecycle, including the Waterfall
Method and the Star Method. Some user centered design approaches such as the participatory design
and the star lifecycle, focus on including users in all phases of design. (Preece, Rogers, Sharp,
Benyon, Holland, Carey, 1994) In participatory design, users become members of the actual
development team. In the star lifecycle, users get to evaluate each stage of development. (Lazar, 2011)
So when using a lifecycle like the participatory design or the star lifecycle, users are very involved in
the design of the information system, resulting in making usage easier and more understandable for
the users when the information system gets placed into production. Another advantage in having the
users involved in the every step of the development would be that the information system will meet
exactly the requirements that the users have specified and thus making the system more stable and
productive. Knowing where to include users in the design process is very important and can make the
information system design process faster and better or cause conflict, problems and result in the
design and development running over the allocated

Comparison Between The Bacchae and The Medea
In Euripides The Bacchae and in the Medea, there are significant binary oppositions in both plays.
Binary opposition is the two opposite terms, such as good versus bad. Binary opposition is used to
present both sides of a contrast (Marvin, 1). In The Bacchae and the Medea, Euripides used binary
opposition to highlight the central themes. The significant binary oppositions that are used are men
versus women, foreigner versus citizen, and god versus man. The contrast between men versus women
is an important opposition in both plays. The women in the Greek society have no control of their life;
the men are in control (Barlow 159). In The Bacchae Dionysus underminded the Greek society point
view on women and empowers ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The binary opposition of man versus woman starts off strong, but Euripides switches the roles in both
plays. In The Bacchae the woman worship Dionysus. Pentheus disguises himself as a woman, and
goes off to view the women in the mountains, which is Dionysus plan the whole time. Pentheus
dresses up as a woman and admits to wanting to see the women up at the mountains, and this goes
against Pentheus anger at the beginning of the play (Bacchae 813 814). In the end of the play the
women overpower Pentheus and destroy him to pieces (Bacchae 1125 1140). This is an example of the
women being controlling of their own actions and being stronger than the men. In Medea the
stereotype of the man and the woman switch. Medea is no longer going to sit around and let every
man walk all over her; she states in her speech that she will take revenge on everybody that caused her
misery (Medea 364 409). Barlow emphasizes on the reversal of the stereotype, stating that Medea, is a
woman, moreover, who simply refuses to any longer to accept at any rate Greek female stereotypes
unless to use them with calculation to gain her own immediate ends (158). Medea reversing the
stereotype is the reversal of man controlling the woman, and this shows that woman as well have the
power to control their own life. Euripides also highlights how

How Has The American Dream Changed
Life should be better and richer and fuller for everyone with opportunity for each according to ability
or achievement. This a quote by James Truslow Adams written in his book The Epic America
describing what the American Dream was in 1931 when the book was written. In this quote he is
emphasizing that the American Dream doesn t represent a quest for wealth but rather a vision for
personal fulfillment. Over the course of the years the American Dream has changed in ways which we
not only want to live a white picket fence life , but to be able to afford all the modern materials, cars,
televisions, and college educations for ones children s
.
Just how much has the American Dream changed? Well let s go back to where it first originated.
Dating back to the 1800 s people began finding gold in the state of California. This started an uproar
in people coming over to America (mainly California) to try and find their overnight fortune of gold,
few being successful. Thus the California dream was born, being the dream of instant success. Soon

job to pay for another part of my college tuition cost. Before I research about the college education, I
already knew the school s ranking and the most popular majors of each school. I m research on

of USC all by myself.
And there are only 16% applicants of UCLA and USC were admitted in 2017, so I think UCLA and
USC is too difficult for me. But there are 37% applicants of UCI were admitted in 2017, so I think I
have more opportunity to applying to UCI.
I think there are so many students studying in UCLA, that is a lot of people, and I don t like living or
studying with a lot of people.UCI not have a lot of students, and there are 61% of all undergraduates
living in college housing, so I think UCI is more safety and there are only 30% students living in

Dancing Skeltons
Dancing Skeletons In the ethnography, Dancing Skeletons, the author Katherine Dettwyler describes
many reasons for her research in Mali. The main focus of her research was too attack the problem of
malnourished children and to figure out what diseases they were struggling with. This ethnography
detailed Dettwyler s second trip to Mali, and she wanted to relocate many of the children she had
previously measured, as well as add more children to her study. Throughout the ethnography,
Dettwyler makes it very clear that the malnutrition of these children is a major problem in Mali. She
describes many of the children she measures and the picture she paints in one s mind is horrifying.
One of the many diseases she comes across is Kwashiorkor, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net

This provided good insight into how these children should be nourished and more facts like that would
have helped the overall effect of the ethnography. The final thing I wish Dettwyler looked more into
was the male/female relationship and how the males felt about the female gender. I do not know if she
didn t address this because she had limited interaction with the males because of her gender, or
whether it was simply of no interest to her. If she could have explained further why she didn t take
much account to this it would have added a more well rounded ethnography. What roles did the fathers
play in the child raising? Were they passive like it appeared or was it just not discussed? Dettwyler
displayed tremendous anthropological skills as well as some not so good skills. A good thing she did
was build a high amount rapport with the Malians. This was important so they would allow her to
measure them, and also so they would trust her when she taught them how to properly nourish their
children. In the text she almost always displays a calm and intellectual demeanor when she is speaking
to parents about their badly diseased or injured child. She has seen so many things that she is not
surprised as too what she will see next and it helps her keep her composure. One time she didn t

The Body Broken And An Automobile Accident At A Young Age...
Facing life changes due to unforeseen health problems that occur can be challenging. The author in the
story, The Body Broken, had fractured her C2 through an automobile accident at a young age of 19.
Her story is a remarkable journey of trials, which she continues with daily struggle to function. When
Lynne fractured her vertebrae is was due to the huge drop she faced when being ejected from the
vehicle. Fractures such as this are due to a blunt force trauma from hitting something, and the impact

Several MRI s and CAT scans were performed. The doctors diagnosed that her fracture never did fully
heal. The doctors were unconcerned with paralysis since the fracture was old and just treated the pain.
Lynne faced both physiological as well as psychological battles from her injury and the problems that
came with it. She struggled with her identity from in her family, as a mother, to also her identity in her
career. Since her pain was so excruciating at times, she separated herself from those closest to her, and
became a hermit for periods of time. She experimented with every drug regimen the doctors
prescribed. She even tried marijuana. Some doctors suggested nerve blocks to lessen the pain. As
doctors tried to find what was causing the severity of her pain more tests were run. After some blood
work was done they found she was very deficient in her nutrients and vitamins. Doctors could not
decide, what the primary factor in causing this new onset of pain was. It was undetermined if the pain
was caused by physiological or psychological. In a search for a doctor to fix her she met a
neurosurgeon that suggested they could try spinal fusion. When the spinal fusion did not reduce the
pain, more narcotics were given. The struggle with drugs prescribed, the side effects and knowing
which ones were actually helping was a constant battle. She sought every effort to heal herself from

Fluoride And Sugar Causes Tooth
Maintaining a healthy smile means proper brushing, flossing, and using fluoride. Fluoride is a natural
mineral that helps to strengthen enamel, reducing the amount of bacteria that attack your teeth and
preventing cavities. Bridgeview Dental Group, located in Kodiak, specializes in family dental care,
including teeth whitening, root canals, and tooth implants. They ve highlighted a few of the myths that
surround fluoride use, debunking them to reveal the truth.
Sugar Causes Tooth Decay: While this myth is partially true, as sugar is a vehicle for bacteria, the
main cause of cavities is because the enamel breaks down and doesn t defend the tooth against germs.

Essay On Endogenous Modulation Of Pain
Second, this study also provides supporting evidence for endogenous modulation of pain based on fc
changes compared cLBP in different pain condition with HC and within cLBP. Substantial evidence is
accumulating to show that the striatum plays an important role in the endogenous modulation of pain.
Published data provide evidence that the limbic system is essential to chronic pain processing59. The
NAc is a critical node in this network. Functional interactions between component structures in the
limbic system are wide ranging. Previous studies show that the nucleus accumbens (NAc) is

Therefore, some previous studies hypothesized that these brain regions, especially within the
emotional corticolimbic system, acted as the bridge of pain modulation and stress regulation5.
In practice, research on the emotional brain has often focused on a few structures thought to be central
to this type of processing hypothalamus, amygdala, insula, and so on. However, chronic pain
frequently coexists with other disorders such as anxiety, depression, or learning and memory deficits.
This co occurrence might manifest if chronic pain were to precipitate neuroplastic changes in supra
spinal structures, such as amygdala, that lead to these pain related disorders.
We also found the bilateral VSs, DC, DCP and DRP had significantly overlay increased connectivity
with the right DLPFC in cLBP in HP compared with cLBP in LP.
The bilateral DCP and DRP had significantly overlay increased connectivity with the right insular
cortex and ACC in cLBP in HP compared with cLBP in LP.
The above mentioned dorsal and ventral striatum, amygdala, anterior cingulate cortex (ACC), the
anterior insular and the orbitofrontal cortex are all implicated in reward as well as pain processing.
Recent experimental data suggest that basal ganglia may also be involved in various dimensions of
pain sensation and pain experience 69. So far, there

All of which were crucial traits about the 16th century and defined the time period, and along with that, formed the basis of many works of William Shakespeare, a classic author. The play Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare was written amidst this time and shows a great example of these traits. Required Setbacks Refers to the placement of the building on its block of land. In this case, the building is already pre existing so the council will more than likely only need to consider the setback requirements for the new addition to the rear of the property. Issues such as proximity to the boundary line and therefore neighbours will need to be addressed. 3. Car Parking Requirements The existing building was originally not designed to be a restaurant come tavern. As the building will now be repurposed the developer will need to allow for car parking plans within both the planning and building approval stages. 4. Passages developed from the first theme then led gradually to its return in its original calm mood after a brief climax. A brief coda was made by a new and happy melody referring to the main theme. The third movement was lighter than any of the other movements. But the middle section referred to the single note motive which was grown as symphony progressed. With the finale the grand returned, peoples were at once concerned with weighty issues. The suspension was highly impressive making peoples feel something great impending. The themes were many and various. But they flowed from one to another smoothly. Then the movement was fully developed as the exuberant conclusion theme came out, fast and furiously. There also followed a series of developments some ingenious and some powerful. Then the movement went into end. The loud horn proclamation died slowly through sublet changing harmonies, until by a modulation. Then the entire color and atmosphere of the music changed to half light. The original halting form of the theme recurred briefly but only for a moment. With the development of the melody, in slow rhythm, soft entrances of four initial motives echoed from bass to treble leading to a timid but happy and confident reaffirmation of the motto from the first ... Both of these countries should have solved the situation differently. America, however had no real evidence for why they sent U.S. forces to launch an attack on Iraq. Iraq had never tried to threaten America. On the other hand, this war caused a lot of confusion. Canada did not think that this war was necessary to start. There were good reasons why Canada refused to participate in the war on Iraq. It was based on lies, changed the way other countries viewed Iraq, and it led to disasters. The invasion that took place caused a lot of chaos and problems. First of all, Canada was right to refuse to participate in the war on Iraq for the reason that the war was based on lies. During a period when rock was finding its roots Queen seized the opportunity to experiment with what could be accepted in mainstream music. Through thoughtful and decisive manipulation of musical elements such as tonality, harmony, form and lyrical undertones; Queen effectively conveys musical meaning and entertains listeners. Bohemian Rhapsody falls under a genre known as progressive rock. It s a genre that is characterised by the unorthodox take on form which incorporates aspects of other genres and often supports aspects of a classical form. This song is peculiar in that it has four sections, and lack of a chorus, these sections being; Intro (0:00 00:49), Ballad (00:49 3:02), Operatic verse (3:02 4:07), Hard Rock (4:07 4:54) and Outro (4:54 5:55). The purpose of this lab was to collect hydrologic data related to the Jemez River and the Rio Guadalupe in order to evaluate the whether the prevailing ideas about bankfull discharge are applicable to this system. The ideas that bankfull discharge is the most important factor in determining the geomorphic characteristics of the stream, and that bankfull discharge is has a recurrence interval of approximately 1.5 years were tested using field data collected and compared to real time data collected below the confluence of the Jemez and Rio Guadalupe rivers. Gravity is one of the dominant forces acting to move water down slope, and the shear stress (τ), or the resisting force exerted by bed and bank material act as the force opposing down slope movement (Leopold et al., 1964). The variables considered in table 1 allow us to determine wither sediment of a certain size will become mobile at bankfull flow, and ultimately be able to shape the stream channel. In order for median sized sediment to become entrained, the bed shear stress (τb) must be greater than the critical shear stress (τc), or the resistance force of the sediment quantified by the Shields number. The streams ability to transport large clasts can be assessed using the Costa entrainment velocity, and the critical value for the deposition of large clasts (τb) that may have been mobilized further up stream can be estimated using the O Connor equation. The values assessed can ultimately offer insight into stream power or the energy available for sediment transport and ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 14. Reflective Essay On Interprofessional Education In my NUR 301 Class, I had the opportunity to practice on Interprofessional Education. Our nursing student team was partnered with first year pharmacy school students to learn about each other professions and to study on how we could work in a team of healthcare professionals to attain a common goal. As this was my first time experience to meet other students from a different department of Notre Dame of Maryland University, I was not sure what to expect from our discussions. Even if I have some experiences working both in hospitals and in a pharmacy, I was no fully aware of the responsibilities of a pharmacist directly to the patient or to the healthcare field specialists. From this class I understood that Interprofessional Education (IPE) is when two or more profession learn from, with and about each other. This collaboration is important in order to fulfill the patients needs that are becoming more complex, multi faced and challenging day by day. It is also clear to me that no single profession in healthcare can adequately address all the demands of patients. Therefore, partnership between teams is required to provide a safe, timely, effective and equitable patient care. To have a smooth collaboration, it is necessary to learn from each other s specializations, strength and experiences. In the real world, healthcare is an interdisciplinary team effort to provide the best possible service to a patient based on evidence based practices. Considering this, I had the ... Competitors might face increasing costs when firms deliberately increase the price of supplies or when competitors are forced to bid for remaining inputs. However, this does not mean it will increase competitor s cost if supplies are available from alternative suppliers. 2. Is the market increased by exclusion? Firms may not necessarily gain market power if it has powerful competitors or if entry is possible. This may harm competitors but not necessarily competition. 3. Is the exclusion profitable? However, since no records of anyone s school attendance were generally kept, there is no evidence against it. It is supposed, because he was the son of a leading townsman, that he attended the King Edward VI Grammar School in Stratford. Here, his education would have consisted of a thorough knowledge of Latin, logic and rhetoric and also history, which would have been mainly classical, (http:168.216.219.18).This could explain Shakespeare s knowledge of history for his plays. As looking to see what a cybernetic organism is, I found they are a human who has certain biological developments assisted or controlled by mechanical or electronic devices. When learning that was the meaning I began to think us humans are as cybernetic organisms. My first reading on the thoughts of cyborg, was You Are Cyborg, written by Hari Kunzru, writing to Donna Haraway who does believe we humans are cyborgs. • 20. Advantages And Disadvantages On Bonds What are bonds? You have probably heard people talking about bonds, or read about them and how much one can earn if they invest in bonds but you really do not know what bonds are or how they work. We shall take you through all these and enlighten you. Bonds are debt securities or debt investment whereby, if you buy a bond, you are actually lending your money but with security. It is a way for you to invest your money by lending it. Borrowers will issue bonds so as to raise funds from investors and most of the funds are usually used as capital for further ventures or expansion. Some of the entities that issue bonds are governments, corporations, municipalities and other federal agencies. The entity that issues the bond is known as the Issuer and when you purchase one, ... Therefore this will affect how much you end up with as interest because what you get is what is left after the taxes have been deducted. 2. Bonds may have low risk factors; however, they also have lower returns if compared to other investments such as stocks. This means that if you are going for high returns in a short time then bonds are not the best option. 3. If you buy a bond when interest rates are low, even if the interest rates go up, you will still get your interests calculated at the low rates rather than being revised to the high interest rates. This, therefore, means that you are stuck at earning using low interest rates no matter how high the interest rates rise. 4. The interest you an investor earns from bonds are mostly paid either once a year or twice a year in most cases. • 21. Thomas Fuller Speech Before The Crusades Man s tenure upon face of the earth consists of inundated thoughts of World Dominance. Be it through religious factors of papacy, or hatred for selected peoples groups on the face of the earth. The Crusades revile the desire of control from popes that required the Greek Church (all non Christians) to be under the control of the Catholic Church of Rome. According to Dana C. Munro, the first crusades began under the papacy of Pope Urban II. From whom delivered a speech in 1096 at the Council of Clermont that led thousands to take up the cross. It is from that moment on the Popes always felt the crusades were their task and under their inspiration believing that the crusades were God s work and they were His agents. Let us consider the words of Pope Urban II according to Fulk of Chartres, I speak to those who are present, I shall proclaim it to the absent, but it is Christ who commands. Moreover, if those who set to thither lose their lives on the journey, by land or sea, or in fighting against the heathen, their sins shall be remitted in that hour; this I grant through the power of God vested in me. However, what prompted the speech from the Pope Urban II to issue such a decree? Thomas Fuller states, though the pretenses were pious and plausible, yet no doubt, the thoughts of his holiness began where other men s ended and he had a privy project beyond the public design. Pope Urban II only has to look to Spain. Recall that the Vikings influx of Europe had just ended ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Many famous people of this time period had differing opinions on how to make the lives of African Americans safer. The primary sources from Wells, Washington, Turner, Du Bois, and Harper showed their separate opinions on how to better the lives of African Americans, and each person had positives and negatives, but the alternative offered by Ida B. Wells would have caused larger problems between the black and white communities. Two of the alternatives proposed were considered radical and almost dangerous to the African American community. The first radical idea was proposed by Ida B. Wells. She believed that the African American population needs to stand up against the government to show that the lynching and unjust treatment in America is unfair. Wells was famous for her boycotting of the railroads, and she wanted every household to have a gun just in case of emergencies involving the white people. These ideas were very radical for the time period because she wanted people to hurt others first, she famously states, The strong arm of the law must be brought to bear upon lynchers in severe punishment, but this cannot and will not be done unless a healthy public sentiment demands and sustains such action . • 24. Jealousy And Jealousy In Human Behaviour The concepts of jealousy and envy have been acknowledged as being important characteristics of human behaviour and can be considered as a mental state that directs an individual s assessment of a stimulating situation. The existence of a rival can be particularly threatening because it challenges some aspect of a person s self definition (Parrott, 1991), hence leaving persons in an emotional triangle between their self worth and their social valve. Your neighbour pulls up in a sweet new ride. Your co worker announces she s taking yet another trip abroad. Your best friend upgraded to a bigger house in a better area of town (Weston 2017). This played seamlessly within the author s first paragraph of the article, which took a more sympatric approach and depicted a pathos type of argument, with a benevolent tone. Playing on the readers emotions and captivating their attention as we all have been exposed to the notion of feeling inferior in comparison to our peers and their achievements, which induced our level of interest to read on. Psychologists have coined that jealousy is universal based on its functional mechanism (Dittman 2005), which we can see playing out with the catching up with the Joneses or utility interdependence mentality that results in mindless spending as described by Lisa within the article. It was clear in the transformation of the authors tone and argument from being sympatric to a more candid tone, while depicting the logos form of argument, with a very stern under tone to readers who are guilty of wasteful spending of money to match that of their peers, whose underline source of funds in most cases are not publicised as the public show of their wealth. The author describes vividly the picture of the foundation that one lives their lavish lifestyle on, that is not seen or understood by the onlooker but many times the veil is present and the emotion of jealousy is ramped hence no logic is seen and only emotion is felt. For most theorists, a defining feature of jealousy is that it requires a social triangle which takes place when someone perceives that another person (be it real or imaginary) poses a potential threat to an important interpersonal relationship (e.g., Parrott ... Some user centered design approaches such as the participatory design and the star lifecycle, focus on including users in all phases of design. In the star lifecycle, users get to evaluate each stage of development. (Lazar, 2011) So when using a lifecycle like the participatory design or the star lifecycle, users are very involved in the design of the information system, resulting in making usage easier and more understandable for the users when the information system gets placed into production. Another advantage in having the users involved in the every step of the development would be that the information system will meet exactly the requirements that the users have specified and thus making the system more stable and productive. Knowing where to include users in the design process is very important and can make the information system design process faster and better or cause conflict, problems and result in the design and development running over the allocated ... Binary opposition is the two opposite terms, such as good versus bad. Binary opposition is used to present both sides of a contrast (Marvin, 1). In The Bacchae and the Medea, Euripides used binary opposition to highlight the central themes. The significant binary oppositions that are used are men versus women, foreigner versus citizen, and god versus man. The contrast between men versus women is an important opposition in both plays. Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The binary opposition of man versus woman starts off strong, but Euripides switches the roles in both plays. In The Bacchae the woman worship Dionysus. Pentheus disguises himself as a woman, and goes off to view the women in the mountains, which is Dionysus plan the whole time. Pentheus dresses up as a woman and admits to wanting to see the women up at the mountains, and this goes against Pentheus anger at the beginning of the play (Bacchae 813 814). In the end of the play the women overpower Pentheus and destroy him to pieces (Bacchae 1125 1140). This is an example of the women being controlling of their own actions and being stronger than the men. In Medea the stereotype of the man and the woman switch. Medea is no longer going to sit around and let every man walk all over her; she states in her speech that she will take revenge on everybody that caused her misery (Medea 364 409). Barlow emphasizes on the reversal of the stereotype, stating that Medea, is a woman, moreover, who simply refuses to any longer to accept at any rate Greek female stereotypes unless to use them with calculation to gain her own immediate ends (158). Medea reversing the stereotype is the reversal of man controlling the woman, and this shows that woman as well have the power to control their own life. Euripides also highlights how ... A good thing she did was build a high amount rapport with the Malians. However, chronic pain frequently coexists with other disorders such as anxiety, depression, or learning and memory deficits.
