Prompt
Malory includes several tales in
Le Morte d’Arthur that explain how some of the most important Arthurian heroes are begotten, such as King Arthur and Sir Galahad. How does the manner in which each of these heroes are conceived affect the representation of both men and women in the tales? Be certain to use examples and/or quotes from the text to support your answer.
Guidelines
· Your initial response should be at least 500 words in length
· Use MLA format for any quotations or citations that you use to support your answer
· King Arthur is likely a legendary figure with whom you are familiar from movies, or even comic books, and his renown along with the stories of Lancelot and Guinevere, are ever-present in cultural mythology today. Hollywood has played a hand in our understanding and knowledge of Arthur, Lancelot, Guinevere, and also popular culture surrounding the Knights of the Roundtable.
· -
· We will necessarily have to wade through the tides of popular culture and mythology, and then also professional mythologians' interpretations, and your own views in a combination of culture, myth, and archaeology, to see what was ' real' and 'true' and how the mythology has been interpreted, even if perhaps we do not know what was ' real.'
· -
· So your questions this week reflect both mythology and our current interpretations of male and female in the legends. Issues that you may reflect upon include for example: Do the female protagonists such as Guinevere play a significant role ? Do they wield power? If so, what type(s) of power? Do they have an ' image' and ' reputation,' and what would the mythology and legends of King Arthur be like -- without the women?
· Is there a strong current of mythology having to do with how to treat women? Or women and romance? Or knighthood and obligations towards the female as a courtier? Is there a sense of values, honor, romance, attached to the stories of King Arthur and the Knights of the Roundtable? How important are these values? Are there challenges to the values of the Knights, for example in Lancelot and Guinevere and the adulterous romance between them? .

Introduction
The House of Mango Street is a novel that was written in the year 1984 by Sandra Cisneros, Mexican-American author.
The novel teaches more on the power of language and more so, the power of words.
Relegation is done to the bottom of the society for the members who can not speak English.
The author is determined and focusing to the young females who are in the school and tries to develop competence in them.
In the novel. It depicts on how females are criticized in the society and in turn posing a lesson to the other young females.
Feminist Criticism
In the novel, we are shown that, Esperanza being a young female in the school leaves the school to her own house.
In addition, she learns that lack of language is powerless as she acknowledges from her friend, Mamacita.
If I would ask, how does knowing or failing to know how to speak English affect ones living and dropping school?
Esperanza witnesses her young schoolmate females as they decide to drop school with little knowledge for marriage.
The reason for the young girls to get married is that, they only desire to escape abuses from their parents and in turn end up getting disappointments from their newly married husbands.
The Struggle for Self Definition
According to Espenzera’s point of view, she tries to look to the individuals within her surrounding and what she could note is that, the young females are convinced in a manner to marry them without the basic knowledge.
What control measures did Espenzera develop after getting to know the friends within her surrounding? What do you think was the main fear of Espenzera interacting with the boys?
In turn, Espenzera herself tries with all the struggle to find her place in the neighborhood and all she finds is void even in the entire world.
Therefore, the other females who did such made the worst decision on getting married to the males who lacked the real language hence developing conflicts in their marriages.
Autonomy Vs Sexuality
In the struggle to leave the neighborhood by Esperanza do not bear fruits with the reason that, as she grows mature, she too develops the desire for males.
Esperanza decides to admire the neighboring boys and as well develops the concept of being cruel and beautiful hence developing autonomy.
Do you think that Espenzera had feelings towards the male life and interaction? Assuming that you were one of them, how would sustain such situations?
Through the insults, she develops the knowledge that she would not be mature enough on proceeding with men. Therefore, she decides to live her own life with the concern of joining her less sexual friends who are Lucy and Rachel
Core Values
Espenzera respected herself and her community and chose a path that did not reflect her being a statistic in her community.
It is everyone’s responsibility to remove gender bia ...

Language, until the inception of 19th century, was related to philosophers and the theories, they presented to define its philosophy.
The scientific study of language did not of course, begin in this century; but the years around 1900 happen to have marked an important turning-point in the history of modern linguistics.
conversational implicature is a sort of inference that has been derived from speaker's said utterance, to say going deep to abstract what is meant by speaker rather what is being said.
it is like drawing inference with the help of non verbal cues, schemata of the situation as well.An utterance which conveys meaning beyond its proposition.what is said must be understood in terms of what philosophers define as meaning, that is, sense and reference, what is said is the result of a linguistic computation implying the description of a full proposition with a truth value.

We all have good and bad thoughts from time to time and situation to situation. We are bombarded daily with spiraling thoughts(both negative and positive) creating all-consuming feel , making us difficult to manage with associated suffering. Good thoughts are like our Mob Signal (Positive thought) amidst noise(negative thought) in the atmosphere. Negative thoughts like noise outweigh positive thoughts. These thoughts often create unwanted confusion, trouble, stress and frustration in our mind as well as chaos in our physical world. Negative thoughts are also known as “distorted thinking”.
