communication because of it. The book is comprised of a murder mystery novel
Christopher sought to write after discovering the bloody murder of his neighbor s
dog, Wellington. Gradually, the story focuses away from the main conflict and
morphs into a complicated story about Christopher s life. With that, Haddon brings
out the complexity and hardships of human life, specifically through the topic of truth

of the supposed death did not match up with the recent inscription on the letters,

Abstract The technique of Collaborative Filtering is especially successful in
generating personalized recommendations. Collaborative Filtering is quickly
becoming a popular technique for reducing information overload, often as a technique
to complement content based information filtering. More than a decade of research
has resulted in numerous algorithms, although no comparison of the different
strategies has been made. In fact, a universally accepted way of evaluating a
Collaborative Filtering algorithm does not exist yet. In this survey, we explain
different techniques found in the literature, and we study the characteristics of each
one, highlighting their principal strengths and weaknesses. This Paper Present a new
user similarity model to improve the recommendation performance to calculate the
similarity of each user. The model not only consider the local context information of

large briefcase with him. Long shots and canning are used to mimic Jeff s gaze as he
follows thethorwald s progress. This makes the audience feel suspicious and confused
as to why someone would leave their apartment so many time in one night.
Too keep them a bit distracted, there are also individual scenes going in the other
apartments so that the audience don t have time to dwell on their suspicion. All is
dark except for a couple of houses which also gives the scene as sinister twist since
at the start it was colorful but now it is dark and the camera is not quite focused.
Also, the cuts and fades in this scene are very unpredictable and unsatisfying,
because, as we are looking through Jeff s eyes, he constantly falls asleep which then
prevents us from seeing any more of what happens as the scene fades to darkness.

For the past ten years, Repticon Reptile and Exotic Animal Conventions have toured
America, traveling to cities displaying a wide gamut of exotic pets with hopes of
informing potential owners about the benefits of owning one (Repticon). Because I
have never obtained an affinity for exotic animals, I was confident Repticon would
ensure my uneasiness and feelings of being an outsider. As I approached the front
door, I was greeted by a gigantic, inflatable snakethat welcomed eager attendees,

Multitasking has become a large phenomenon in everyday life. Many people claim to
be great multitaskers, but is that really the case? According to some experts,
multitasking, especially when evolving technology, can actually have negative effects
on performance and awareness. Thus, we set out to test how well students, the
population that seems most effected by multitasking, could multitask when being
timed. Using basic instruments like quarters, cards, a timer, and a survey, we created
an experiment that simulated some of the difficulties of multitasking, and measured

Hmong is a Miao Yiao language spoken primarily in Southern China, Thailand and

the language all around the world. Over 95,000 Hmong people have settled in the
United States. Hmong is monosyllabic and tonal language. This means that it
consists primarily of one syllable words where the tone of a word affects the

named after, was one of the most influential presidents in American history.
Roosevelt was forty two when he took office, succeeding the death of President
William McKinley who was shot and killed. Roosevelt was a very young president
at the time, in fact, one of the youngest. His young age worried many people, but he
still brought many very strong credentials. Before Roosevelt took office he had about

Carnes and Garraty state he was a very intelligent man, experienced in business
matter and knowledgeable in economics, (671). Throughout the Depression he did
not show his knowledge in economics or experience in business at all. He was very
selfish when it came to deciding how the depression would be resolved. He did not
really care about others opinions or what resolutions they had to offer, whether it
was from an expert opinion or not. Hoover refused that federal funds be used for
the relief of individuals, even though the national government solely had the power
and credit to deal with the problem (Carnes and Garraty 672). Hoover tried to stress
that funds needed to be balanced, meaning that people who had the extra money
needed to donate it. This did not work because people did not trust his plans and
they were not going to get anything out of it. During this depression President
Hoover was not open minded enough. He relied too much on his own decisions and
did not take others into consideration. Hoover failed to bring back the economy and
