say they were the worst. Having the high school experience is almost like a rite of
passage. I will never get the typical high school experience, because I go to FAU
High School. FAU High is a high school hosted by Florida Atlantic University where
students get to be full time college students, while earning high schoolcredits. We
work towards both our high school degree and a college degree at the same time.
While outsiders may see FAU High as daunting and secluding, I find it supportive.
The way in which FAU High School students are supportive of each other makes me

These three works of art I have chosen is a painted vase called Aeneas carries
Anchises , a coin called Aeneas carrying Anchises on left shoulder , and lastly an
etching called Aeneas carrying Anchises. All three of these works are very similar
when it comes to the theme. The theme is obviously the Greek and Roman myth of
Aeneascarrying his father, Anchises, on his back. Although the theme is the same
on all works of art, there are some minor details that set these figures apart. The first
work of art pictured (figure 1), is the vase of Aeneas carries Anchises that was
made in the 5th century of BCE. In this work of art Aeneas is fully equipped in
armor and weapons. He is built strong and sturdy and seems to have no trouble
carrying his father on his back. Anchises is also holding a weapon of some sort,
only holding on to Aeneas with one arm. Both Aeneas and Anchises are painted to be

Pneumomediastinum is a pathologic condition characterized by the presence of air
within the mediastinum and within deep neck spaces. It can be further categorized as
spontaneous pneumomediastinum or secondary pneumomediastinum. Spontaneous
pneumomediastinum is a rare clinical entity seen without any precipitating factors.
On the other hand, secondary pneumomediastinum is due to disruption of the
aeordigestive tract, typically from previous surgery, trauma, severe retching, or
foreign body ingestion. Pneumomediastinum can be exacerbated by activities that
generate a valsalva maneuver, as in physical exertion. The treatment protocol differs
substantially between these two entities, so it is crucial that physicians differentiate
between the two by gathering the appropriate history and physical exam. We report a
case of a healthy 44 year old male who developed pneumomediastinum with moderate
head and neck subcutaneous emphysema after minimal trauma while boogie
boarding. The patient remained asymptomatic except for mild dysphonia and head
and neck swelling. An extensive PubMed search revealed several case reports of
spontaneous pneumomediastinum. This is, however, to our knowledge, one of the
few reports of moderate to severe spontaneous pneumomediastinum presenting
relatively asymptomatically. With this case report we hope to add to the current body
of literature and present an unusual presentation of spontaneous pneumomediastinum

Man s primary need has always been housing as shelter from the elements. Originally
mud huts were built where hunters were able to find animals for food and then more
permanent dwellings were built, using local materials, as the economy changed to
agriculture. Later as populations grew so different environments emerged with
significant change in the urban form and fabric of settlements. Housing was
determined not only by available materials but also the cost of getting them to the

There are many pros and cons about bringing the your pet to work discussion. On
one side many people believe benefits of pets in the office would create a less
stressful workplace and give many the chance to work longer hours. Others believe
that the possible allergenic properties, sanitary issues and probable lawsuits will be a
nightmare for companies and owners alike. I would like to bring both arguments to
the table and weigh them both out.
I think we can all agree that many workplaces can be stressful at times and having
your pet there would certainly help ease tensions for the owner. Personally i think

and feed them but I don t think that my choosing to get a pet should require
employers to pay for my choices. Once I recieved a free complimentary room at a
casino and decided to leave my dog at home while leaving newspapers down for

bathroom right in the middle of my bed. Problems like that happen with any pet and

novel The Poisonwood Bible opens with Orleanna Price describing the sensory
input of the Congolese Jungle. As a reader her description allows you to close your
eyes and see the Congolese Jungle as if you are there walking through it too. The
Congolese Jungle sounds like an unforgiving place which adds a suspenseful sense
to the already questionable beginning. While one can not exactly know what is
going to take place, the description allows you to know that whatever it is will not be
